Zero commission trading, only thing left is deposit fee of 1.6 , if they remove that, i can guarantee everyone will port Damn. Is there a cap on the deposit fee? Like a maximum of $10? |

oshdot: [Qquote author=kemicalreact post=96568326] Use Etoro
So having been using Etoro for well over three years, got a mail from them stating they would stop rendering their services in Nigeria effective from 2nd December due to strict regulations.
Mehn this was a huge blow to me personally as I so much enjoyed trading on the platform, mostly due to their social trading features.
Please guys, which would you recommend between Alpari, Trading212 and FXTM, bearing in mind ease of deposit and withdrawal of funds, I am a huge fan of copy trading too. Is copy Trading available on trading 212? It's kinda sad that Etoro is leaving Nigeria. |

"As a regulated company, eToro’s policies follow certain requirements that may be changed or updated from time to time. Unfortunately, due to regulatory reasons, we will soon cease to offer our services in your country." Seriously? I still have a real account with them. Infact, I just got verified last week. Share a screenshot of the email please. |

Jayjaycee18: It depends on your investment strategy and price target. If you have achieved/exceeded your price target and can't stand the risk of losing your profit if legislation is not positive, you can decide to sell part of your holdings (I.e 25 - 40%) to lock-in profit, while you leave the remaining 60 or 75%.
For instance, I planned to only day-trade $SNDL and $HEXO yesterday (i.e buy at start of trading and sell 100% of my shares by end of day). However, after $SNDL returned 52% to me from price gain of 96% yesterday and $HEXO returned 13% after 29% price increase, I sold only 40% of both stocks to lock-in profit and eliminate the risk of losing cash, while still holding the remaining 60% until legislation is either passed or rejected.
That decision to sell part of my holding yesterday seems to be too hasty because $SNDL is now 27% premarket today and $HEXO is 15% premarket. However, i prefer to take profit off the market rather than keep paper profit and risk losing it all, if legislation fails. Thanks bro |
