Turn the tables and imagine nemesis posting pics of dead Nigerian soldiers with a funny caption to boot.......
A dead soldier is different from a captured soldier. There's nothing bad in the meme.

Don't mind Sheyi Makinde. He is a politician and most politicians are useless people.

And yes, some dumb Yoruba Muslims are supporting Fulanis; one of them is Monogamy.

According to the dumb mind of some Yoruba Muslims, partnership with Fulanis will help them to protect Islamic religion.

Unknown to the likes of Monogamy, Fulanis are only using Islamic religion as a mask to deceive. Their real intention is not to promote Islam, but to promote the fulani tribe via their feudal mindset.
Who told you Monogamy is a Yoruba Muslim?

Lolz. You will cry by the time fulanis turn you to a permanent slave in your own country.

You think fulanis are thinking religion? No, they are only thinking possession. They are only using religion as a tool for possession and deceit. It's disturbing that you are too mentally dead to realise this.

Ask yourself if Fulani herdsmen had been sparing Muslims when they commit murder, rape and kidnap. They don't spare Muslims. They kill, murder and rape anybody, including Christians and Muslims.

[s]But you dumb Muslims in the Southwest still think fulanis will help you to protect your religion. E go surprise you beyond limit. You will laugh from the other side of your mouth in the future. grin
[/s] How many Muslims in the South West are supporting Fulani Herdsmen? What has Seyi Makinde (a Christian Governor) done to check the menace of herdsmen in Oyo State. Use your brain before you post nonsense on a public forum.

What about Iran? How long did it take Iran to get to where it is today? At what cost? are their people now suffering going to have a dash of missile for Dinner? Nope, they are in pain. Wasting precious resource on arms while your people suffer is a daft idea.
And it's not about matching the powers of the West, Iran and Libya poses a different scenario, flip it over and put Iran in libya, The US won't have issues decimating them. You are underestimating the kind of military power America has. If Iran is attacked, the whole region implodes, sure, but if US want to, they can, it will take only a few days to weeks to destroy all of Iran's military infrastructure. The chaos it would cause in the region is most likely the reason they won't, and also the impact that would have on the strait of Homuz or whatever it's called
Anyways, just my opinion, carry on. spend dinner money on bullets grin

@bolded LMAO. I don't want to underestimate the suffering of the Iranians, but their standard of living is way better compared to Nigeria which is not under any sanction. A balance of military expenditure and infrastructural project is what makes a country prosperous. Gaddafi was tricked into giving up his chemical weapons program in exchange for some useless concessions. Maybe Iran has the Geographical advantage, what do you have to say about North Korea?

Libya was attacked by countries that are way more powerful than Libya itself can ever be, they could spend billions more, the result would have been the same.
Assad last this long because he had a strong country behind it, and that's Russia. A poor country can only arm up to defend against powers within it's own league, other than that, it's just a waste of money, spend that money on your infrastructure instead.
The billions needed would have to come from somewhere, even if they all sell their kidneys, still won't be enough grin, so why bother

Tell that to Iran. Do you think US would have hesitated in attacking Iran if it was like Libya? The goal is not to match their power, the goal is to make a war with you costly enough for them.

In my opinion, a poor country needs to spend on it's people first, infrastructure,.... Buying weapons only makes it poorer by sending it's foreign reserves to developed countries

ToT and local production would be better as it creates jobs, puts money in people's pockets, grows the economy
Libya became a shithile cos they followed this route.

Just for the sake of discussion

From where do you think china got the tech for bullet trains

As for the bitcoins, it is time bomb , the cards used to mine bitcoin are all designed by US companies, Inspite of the claimed invulnerability behind bitcoin dont you think there might be a hack built in

US agencies unfortunately are far more shrewd , they have a history of salting products which we learnt the hard way , fuckers created loopholes in even commerical chips, thus making their use in military systems a risk

What is not known makes one feel safe, actually its the opposite

Let me tell you a story

Contrary to popular opinion , USSR didn't collapse due to Afghan debacle , principle reason was something else basically domino effect, cascading economic failures leading to wrong decisions like Afghan invasion to distract public gaze from economic debacles

There was a major pipeline system which USSR was banking on to earn major revenue , it needed some sort of computerized controllers , they didn't have the tech so they decided to steal it from canada ( or us , forgot who exactly) US intel salted the system & allowed it to be stolen , USSR build up the entire pipeline only to suffer catastrophic failure after few years of operation nearly breaking up their economic backbone

Now understand the fuckery involved in international level , if the geniuses in USSR there were many , could not see it coming , whats the possibility others will see similar sabotage coming

Anyways i dont mind US getting fuked as long as china is dragged down with it
China would be dragged down with US cos they know how to play their cards right. I'm getting sick of this unnecessary obsession of Indians with China.

I think when looking at it through the lense of their respective bite forces, a Jaguar would be considered as the strongest amongst big cats. It usually goes straight for the skull and not the neck like the others.
You're right. It's skull cracking bite is scary. It kills caimans like rats.

I am sharing my timeline to encourage everyone…. I got a lot of Info from Nairaland and I hope this helps at least one person.

I reached out to an agent initially that gave me a bill of 1500 USD, when I converted to Naira, I decided to do my application my self. Thank God for grace and patience.

First time applicant -age 30
Program of study- MBA
School- Rotman school of management - University of Toronto
I got partial scholarship but still needed to show how I will fund the balance and my expenses.

So prior to my study permit application, I had two expired EE application my score was low so I didn’t get ITA. This made me nervous cos it was a proof that I would be looking for PR after my studies and I wasn’t sure if it would affect their decision.

Submitted my application February 19 with Upfront Medicals and my bank statement
Biometric request Feb 20
Biometrics updated to pass Feb 24
Medical updated to pass Feb 26
NSE request for IELTS Feb 25
Submitted IELTS- Mar 27
BVL May 31
PPR June 1

I graduated in 2011, and I have worked in the financial services industry since 2011 from my NYSC posting. I got my Chartered financial analyst (CFA) certification in 2019 so my LOE was focused on saying I needed the MBA for career progression and to take on leadership position. I also spoke about the need for investment analysts to have a global training to prevent mismanaging large funds and negatively affecting the Nigerian capital markets.

I attached pictures of my family members, got a study leave, letter of intro and my payslips from my employer.

For economic ties I used my 75% of my pension, my car and my equity investment. The 25% of my pension I stated I would use it for my funding during my studies. The PFA gave me a letter to support this.

For funding, the first page was a letter explaining all lump sums and where they came from and I stated that it was to show sufficient liquidity.
I included two tables one showing all my expected expenses for two years and all my funding. Then I included a summary table showing both incase there was any confusion that the funding was more than the expense.

My program is for 2 years so I had to show how I intended to finance it for the total duration. I didn’t want to inform any relatives so I had to sponsor my self. I got my admission in October, didn’t apply till February because of funding, I used this time to consolidate my finances and also apply for loans. I applied to Prodigy ( I was rejected) and Mpower( I got approved).

The school had an immigration lawyer that also helped me look through my letters and my forms
Congratulations.
Did you state that your financing was from a loan?
