I observed that in some cases as soon as a man dies. the man's family comesin to take charge of the deceased properties and business even when d widow is capable to oversee things at times they even cheat and maltreat the poor widow and children and atimes accuse the widow of killing the husband not considerin the emotional trauma she is passing through. my question is this, is this a Nigerian syndrome or it happens d world over.

@utumanta. U don't know me so u can't judge me for my post here.u really not a widower so u can't imagine what I pass through not to talk of understanding it. U don't knowb what it feels to loose a son until u loose one.and for me not loving my husband 'will u stick ur life for something u don't love or care about for a second not to talk of holding on for almost three years. And for me to seek advice from people who I don't know u can't blame me.l once went to my late husband friend for a help concerning a job and he request to be intimate with me first. There was a neighbour pastor of mine who I went to for financial assistance only to help and start disturbing me for intimacy
are those d kind of people I seek helpfrom or his families who immediately took over his business forgetting d widow ands poor son.there certain issues u need to accertain before u condemn pple. From my knowledge of human beings, before d OP posted this,ppl were already accusing her of not mourning her hubby well enof before hitting d scene wt new man/men(u can curse me now).
Why ask Nairalanders who were not there to know what u shared wt ur late hubby? Ds is as bad as a woman discussing her sleeping postures wt her husband in public. To me, such a lady has no respect for her man & is undeserving of his love.

tnx all. i appreciate alll d responses i av recieved so far. as per my in laws they are okay wit me. they remuslims and they told me im free at d fifth month but d issue is cos of my son.i sensed he needs a father figure.he seems unhappy and withdrawn whenhe sees his friends with their dad. he once said this 'i wish jesus could make my dad come back' and since then it had got me worried. financially God has been faithful he wasnt lacking anything materialwise. tnx all once again

Hi nlers. I am a young lady who unfortunately lost my husband after four years of marriage. Its been two and half yes now since my husband death.is it okay for me to start a new relationship now. How many years is a widow required to mourn his husband before moving on. Thanks a lot as u respond.

I do it every now and then. The last one was around 2am today when I dreamt of my late husband who parted this sinful world on d 29th of March 2010 which was supposed to be my29th birthday. So u see u can't really blame me when I cry every now and then.

@negro i, tnx so much, i am actually into it presently and it is a good product and supplying some people but u know how it works in ds country. no encouragement for small scale enterpreneurs. in fact i branded just like morning fresh, wrote a good bizness plan, went to nafdac office hoping to get the approval but it was a different ball game that will cost me abt 700k. though still sourcing for partners cos i know it will do well in d market

think the guy is just been real, why waste his hard earned money to get a cup or bowl when he has an alternative. many of us has done things worse than this(myself included) but we dint die. it only made me stronger. stop forming levels on NL.
