Politics › Re: Ndigbo Settle For Atiku/Obi Ticket by ken6488(m): 8:13pm On Nov 14, 2018
Corrinthians:
Please Id like to ask a couple of questions.

- After the defeat of the preferred candidate of Ndigbo in 2015 presidential election, they rented the air and cyberspace with cries about Yorubas being "betrayers".

- Not done with calling them betrayers, they went on to call them "Hausa/Fulani slaves" because they chose to vote a Fulani man, Buhari, who triumphed over their preferred candidate.

Now..

1. What makes Yorubas betrayers for choosing to exercise their freedom of association? Did they cut any deal with the Ndigbo to support Jonathan? Who were the political leaders that made the deal with Ndigbo on behalf of Yorubas?

2. What makes Yorubas slaves? Since when did forming political alliances in furtherance and promotion of a people's collective interest amount to SLAVERY?

3. What did Yorubas do then which Ndigbo aren't doing now, especially with one of their sons chosen as the VP candidate same way a Yoruba son was picked by Buhari?

Lastly and most importantly..

How would Igbos feel if those same words they have been using to describe Yorubas since 2015 is now used to describe them?
you have a nice question sha total summary to ur answer is PDP gave youruba 8 good years presidency but still yet dey betrayed PDP

“Well, I heard your Sister call you the

Still thinking of the next thing to say,
while I was already smiling like a boy
that picked up a free 5 naira note on
the floor, I managed to gain
composure.
“So what is your own name?” I asked
“Chioma, But you can call me Angel.
That is what my friends call me at
school” she told me
“Wow, you really look like an angel”
within me, I was wondering if I
actually said that and was awaiting
the result for my poor show, when I
heard…
“You look like a male angel too”
Chioma replied.
Beaming with Joy, I just smiled and
winked at her like Aunty taught me,
she winked back immediately; then I
knew I just signed a new player to
my team.
“Welcome to my world” I said to
myself.
After incessant failures of telling
Chioma to come to our house and
Play(Don’t even ask me the type of
Play), aunty finally called the girl into
our house, while she and her siblings
came to play downstairs, and took
me alongside her into the children’s
room. She told me to wait outside,
and only they knew what they
discussed inside (not my business
sha). I had already gist aunty about
what happened the other day, so let
me not bore you with repeated
stories.
Then I entered, and Aunty told her to
hug me, and she did. We stayed like
that for about 2 minutes, turning
about. Then she was asked to give
me a peck, which she did, and I
responded back almost immediately.
Joy filled my heart at such an
opportunity. All of a sudden, I heard
a question…
“Are you sure you love me?” Chioma
asked me
Still figuring what she meant by love;
“Maybe Love is doing to her what I
do to Aunty” I said to myself
Aunty replied on my behalf and
sounded a big “YES” with a big
smile.
Chioma still wanted to be sure, asked
her to allow me say it with my
mouth.
What else could I have said than
what aunty said, so I sounded
another
“YES” with my own smile.
After exchanging eye contact with
aunty, she hurriedly left the room for
both of us. Whatever happened
inside there remains exclusive,
because I can’t write it here. But
believe me, it is not what you are
thinking because I messed up; but
like Aunty said, there is always room
for improvement. Don’t forget also
that my thing couldn’t enter because
it was as if the place was blocked.
All the same, I touched what I could
touch and she left while I hurried to
the backyard to give the full gist to
aunty.
After explaining to aunty about how
“Blocked” Chioma own was, she
assured me that she was going to do
something about it. The next day, she
asked me to go call Chioma from
outside, into the house. I did as I
was told and Chioma came to our
room again.
Aunty asked me to wait outside
again; but this time, I was trying to
peep and I peeped. I heard Aunty
explaining something to Chioma and
she was nodding her head like a
lizard. Then Aunty went to her bag
and brought out something like a Pee
Pee of a boy
“Jesus” I shouted inside of me. I
couldn’t believe that Aunty has what I
have inside her bag.
“But why is her own bigger than my
own?” I queried myself.
“Not my concern” I responded
rhetorically.
Then I saw Aunty spread the legs of
Chioma and applied something like
Oil from a bottle in Between her legs,
where her own wee wee is located.
After rubbing the oil, she carried that
thing that looks like my pee pee and
was trying to put it inside Chioma’s
wee wee.
Chioma was shouting and crying in
pains but Aunty didn’t stop till some
part of it entered and she now
removed it. Chioma was crying
bitterly in a low tone sha so that
nobody will hear her cry. When she
stood up from the bed, I saw reddish
things on her laps and on the Bed.
Immediately, I ran into the room and
shouted…
“She has wounded!!!”
Aunty immediately ordered me out of
the room and I didn’t see what
happened next till Chioma left our
house and climb upstairs. One thing I
noticed was that she wasn’t walking
like the way she did, when she
entered our house.
Later at night, I asked aunty to
explain to me the meaning of the Pee
Pee she has in her bag and what she
did to Chioma. Being such a sweet
Aunty to me, she explained to me
and we even practiced the same
thing with ourselves that night. She
brought the same Pee Pee in her bag,
gave it to me; I felt it and it was like
a rubber. Having explained what it
meant, she opened her legs and
asked me to do the same thing she
did to Chioma. She also gave me tips
of doing the same thing to people
She called “VIRGINS”. Well, I only
learnt the practical and forgot about
the plenty theories.
I woke up and the thought of
Chioma’s cry filled my heart.
“What if her mother finds out” I said
to myself.
Days passed and I didn’t see Chioma
outside, I was even thinking she was
dead or something. Till one faithful
afternoon, I saw her playing with
Steph and Mary. When she saw me,
she removed her eyes and continued
with what she was doing. They were
actually playing with sands and
“Pots” (Tomatoes Tins) and I hated it
so much; but the anticipation of
allowing Chioma to talk to me, made
me join the happy family. That even
didn’t help the situation because she
didn’t even talk to me.
One night I went outside to pack my
toys I left outside while playing in the
afternoon, I heard someone whisper
my name.
“Is that you Angel?” I asked softly
“Yes my Angel” the voice replied.
I tip toed towards the direction of the
voice, and when she saw me, She
gave me a big hug, reached straight
to my Pee Pee and grabbed it
immediately; brought it out and
started handling it like aunty does to
me. She did it while I dived straight
to her skirt, touched her pants and
went ahead to start touching her own
wee wee.
But I noticed that while I touched
hers, she was making some sounds
which made me to continue doing it
well. We continued till we heard a
loud voice shouting
“Chioma”!
“Chioma”!
We disengaged immediately and ran
to various possible destinations

EPISODE 1
The wisest person is not the one who has the fewest failures but the one who turns failures to best account. All humane things are subject to decay, And when fate summons, Monarchs must obey. This is my story……………..”The longer I live the more I see that I am never wrong about anything, and all the pains that I have so humbly taken to verify my notions have only wasted my time and ended it up here….”…….
…….I met her during our Gns classes when I was in 100 level in Funaab. We sat close to each other on the same seat. I began chatting with her during the class and, after the class,
we continued the chat. She said her name was seyi. I followed her to Colnas (College Of Natural science building). She said she was in MCB(micro biology). Few
days later, I asked her out, she refused. I already knew that’s how it would be. Girls like her are
very tough and hard to get. Before she accepted for us to date, it took about 4 months, after I have talked, begged and, all through that I never gave up on her, I love her. There
is something about her that is so different, this is the unique.
After the endless pressures. Finally she accepted; She called me on that faithful day, infact her call woke me up that morning. She told me she had something to tell me in school, that I should meet her at one of the eateries at SUB by 1pm.
After the day’s lecture, I headed for sub, I met her at one of the buka. I sat oppositely to her seat, I was anxious to hear what she had to say, I thought maybe she had a problem but that
was not it. She broke the news to me. That she has accepted to date me. I was so happy, so joyous. The way I screamed and hugged her, she was embarrassed but I never mind. People were just looking at us. I felt God has answered my
prayers. With all excitement, I told her to follow me home; thank God she wasn’t having any other lecture for the day; me too, I wasn’t having any other lectures. She agreed and, straight away we went to somorine.
We got to somorine junction with a cab. We entered a bike (okada). As I was talking with the Okada man, I was sure he noticed I was so excited, she couldn’t ask me why.
Both of us (me and seyi) got to my house. This is not her first time of coming to my house, she had been there couple of times but to her female friends. But this time, it was special. The visit was only for me and nobody else. We got to my
gate, the okada dropped us, I paid him while he left. As she wanted to enter inside my room, I did something hilarious
EPISODE 2
What i did was so hilarious. I drew her back, I told her that I want to carry her on my arms, she laughed. As she was laughing, I lifted and stretched my right hand to her back region and, my left hand to her kneels, shifted it and before she could say any word, she was already on my arms with her hands circled around my neck. She was screaming in joy and laughing as we entered through the gate. My fellow funaab housemates were outside;
they were all looking at me in surprise. Some began hailing me “bado, badoo of life”. I laughed as one of them shouted, “Romance in action”. She thought I would drop her at the steps to my flat but, mba! I carried her straight into my room with all joy and happiness. We didn’t have sex. We just talked, made merriment. I cooked a nice Egusi soup for her, with chicken laps; we ate. Months later, in 200level, the relationship between i and seyi was going stronger and better. We were so fond of each other. I ordered her to moved from Camp where she was
staying to my own flat which she did without questioning.; she took one of the rooms a friend who graduated stayed. When she moved in, it made us closer. We stayed in the same house. Everything was so sweet until Fausa, “Fausa Eleja” just like we call her in my compound came into the picture. The sweetness between i and seyi turned sour when Fausa came in.. This is how it goes:……
This faithful Thursday, the rain just finished falling, i and two of my housemates were outside with our gate wide open. We were just looking at people
passing by across the gate. We were looking when 2 young girls, one carrying pepper and the other fried fish on her head were passing by the gate. One of my house mates, Deji. He said he would love to drink garri with fish. “Garri and fish.Ahhh for this cold weather” I said. We laughed. He went to the gate and called them. They came into the compound. Both the one selling the fish and pepper. Behold, the one selling the fish was so beautiful, fair in completion with hour glass shape; with oval facial shape and cute dimples, average in height. She was wearing a black trouser and white top, the clothes brought out her shape. I barely noticed the second girl with her because she never caught my attention.
Though the second girl was chocolate skin, she was wearing a red skirt and red top. As if she was going to secret cult meeting. I assumed Both girls should be in their late teens. I stepped aside as deji and james my other housemate were pricing the fish. Deji began toasting the fair girl (fausa). He asked her name. I guess she was shy as she sheepishly said, “Fausa”. Most of their conversations were in Yoruba. But I heard Deji telling her to come back the next day, that they would buy more fish from her. The other girl with chocolate skin was even feeling uncomfortable. I guess she felt rejected that all attention was giving to the other Fair girl, Fausa.
When both girls had left, deji said that he would date that fausa girl, but it was just for sex. And he is going to dump her after several satisfaction of her sex, but………

episode 4

Did I finish about the new family that
packed into our compound? In fact, it
was a family of “all girls everything”
aside their dad. What are you
thinking about now? Well, your guess
is as good as mine. It was like a
prayer answered. Have you ever
prayed for something and you see it
come to pass? That was what
happened when I saw the family of
“all girls everything” move into our
compound. I quickly went inside to
inform Aunty Uche about the new
people that packed into our
compound.
“How many girls?” she asked me;
“All girls” I replied like I won a visa
lottery.
She quickly abandoned what she was
doing, followed me outside to
welcome the new occupants of the
middle floor. They greeted her and I
responded on Auntie’s behalf LOL.
When we got inside, Aunty frankly
asked me which of the girls I liked;
“That one with a big Bum Bum I
replied.
Like a football player that just scored
the winning goal of a Final match,
Aunty carried me up and landed me
a big kiss! Don’t worry; I have finally
gotten the name of when someone’s
mouth touches your own mouth. Just
then, I entered into another conquest;
Operation “Get the Girl with a Big
BumBum”. Whenever Aunty was less
busy, she took me on the various
ways of looking good. I once applied
a powder that was kind of brown to
my face just because I wanted to go
buy detergents for washing.
Whenever I wanted to go outside, I
tried as much as possible to look
good. Aunty already taught me, so
don’t ask me how I will look good.
I had these kinds of black eyes, curly
hair, nice set of white teeth and fair
in complexion and red lips. It was
actually becoming more reddish
because of frequent touching of
mouth to mouth action from Aunty.
All of them looked so beautiful, but
the 1st girl was the one that caught
my attention. She is not too good
looking, but she is big and has those
kinda things aunty has. Every day, I
found a way to make her talk to me
and whenever it fails, I run back to
aunty to get a new strategy.
“What is what your name” I shouted
from downstairs to upstairs one
morning when we came out to play.
“Shhhhh” my elder sister yelled at
me.
“Why asking her about her name, is
she your wife?” she queried at me
again.
“Is it your own name I asked?, you
will just be putting mouth into
somebody’s business. Mtcheewww” I
hissed and left the scene and went
inside very angry and frustrated.
I never knew my bravery would pay
off so soon. While coming out of the
house one day, I heard someone
shout my name. Still not believing
that it was coming from exactly the
second floor, I pretended that I heard
nothing and was about faking another
step, when I heard the same
“Angelic” voice whisper my name
again. This time, I was forced to look

VENICE
Among those who've seen it in person, the conclusion is unanimous: Venice is the most beautiful city in the world, and the only one that can truly be described as unique. Each building is a work of art, with their beauty enhanced when reflected on the canals that cross the city. Its magical scenery is fascinating and breathtaking at first sight, evoking the feeling of entering the setting of a real-life fairy tale. It's perhaps even unfair to all other cities to call Venice a city, as it is a place unlike any other, that no other can compare to, or ever be like.
2.PARIS
The Seine and the bridges that cross it, the grand boulevards, the monumental squares, the magnificent monuments, the charming streets of Montmartre -- these images of Paris confirm that it is indeed the most elegant and sophisticated of all cities. It has inspired practically every major world capital, with every city claiming its own Champs-Elysèes, and Place des Vosges becoming the prototype of residential squares throughout Europe. Sit at an outdoor café table or go on a boat tour of the Seine and see it all romantically flash before your eyes.
3.PRAGUE
It's known as the city of the thousand spires because of its profusion of grand, beautifully-preserved historical monuments dating from practically every period in history. Those spires are best admired from the bridges that cross the Vltava River, especially from the magnificent Charles Bridge, or standing in the stunningly beautiful Old Town Square. Add the atmospheric alleyways and cobbled streets that lead to it, and you know that few other cities delight the senses as much as Prague.
4.LISBON
Magnificently sited on a series of hills running down to the grand Tagus River, Lisbon is one of the world's most scenic cities. Beautiful unexpected views are found at every turn down its colorful, picturesque streets, and especially from strategically-placed viewpoints or terraces at the top of each hill. The city has an unpolished, seductive appearance; an effortless beauty with captivating details such as cobbled designs, tiled façades, and pastel-colored buildings blending together to give it a singular atmosphere now lost in so many other cities. In such a stunning place, it's no wonder that many of the world's great explorers questioned what other beauties lied beyond the horizon when they departed from here in the 15th century.
5.RIO DE JANEIRO
There are those who say God created the world in six days and devoted a seventh to Rio. The city is indeed blessed with one of the most stunning settings in the world, making it the most naturally beautiful city in the world. Even if it was deserted of buildings and population, anyone standing at the top of the famous Sugarloaf Mountain or by the Corcovado statue would see one of the world's most beautiful landscapes. Green, tropical luxuriance mixes with the blue of the ocean and the brightness of the sand at the beaches, proving that this is indeed "the marvelous city" as locals call it.
6.AMSTERDAM
Each of the thousands of buildings that line Amsterdam's main canals can be classified as a monument, beautifully kept as apartments, offices, cafés, restaurants, and even brothels. All together they form an aesthetic uniformity that make the city one of the most charming in the world, a stunning place of bridges and bikes crossing canals, picturesque cobbled streets, and strikingly elegant architecture.
7.FLORENCE
Florence is synonymous with the Italian Renaissance, known for the artistic heritage in its palaces and museum collections. Yet with all the beauty both inside and outside its palazzi's walls, it is the city as a whole that impresses the most. See it from Piazzale Michelangelo, a 19th century terrace overlooking the entire city, and you'll be looking at one of the most storybook-perfect cityscapes. You'll see its unspoiled skyline, the towers and domes of the heart of the city, its bridges, the hills in the distance, and the magnificent Duomo standing in the middle of it all. Few other places in the world will leave you as awestruck.
8.ROME
The city standing on seven hills by the Tiber River is a treasure-trove of monuments among some of the most beautiful squares and classical architecture in the world. Because everyone visits Rome for its landmarks, its picturesque streets are often overlooked, such as those of the Trastevere district, filled with charming lanes, faded palazzi, and lovely homes decorated with flower boxes. It is on streets like those that Rome proves itself to really be eternal.

9. BUDAPEST
Split in two by the Danube River, Budapest is the result of the merging of three cities. Buda is the hill with the royal palace and an old town filled with baroque and gothic monuments looking over the mostly-19th century Pest, crossed by broad avenues lined with elegant neo-renaissance buildings. Admire its setting and remarkable architecture (including the stunning Parliament Building) from the monumental Chain Bridge, and step into the old town for some of the most romantic lanes you'll ever stroll through
10 BRUGES
It's a small city, in a small country, hardly a metropolis, but huge on beauty. It's one of the world's best preserved medieval cities, filled with gothic and baroque monuments surrounded by an oval canal and extraordinarily romantic cobbled lanes. It's no wonder that it is one of Europe's most visited cities, helped by its location in the very center of the continent. It's an unmissable destination when in Brussels, and easily accessible from anywhere in central Europe. Its combination of gorgeous architecture and pretty, peaceful spots crisscrossed by canals make it one of the most magical sites to be experienced in the world.

Romance › Memo Of A Male Sex Addict Episode 2 by ken6488(op): 12:34am On Nov 13, 2018
Aunty carried me and then all of a sudden, I felt my “thing” standing as hard as the ground. Aunty then smiled so hard and asked me “do you know you are now a big boy?” I asked her “What kind of big boy?” she told me that once your “thing” starts standing, and a girl is touching it, you have become a big boy. I quickly told her to help me touch it as much as possible so that I can become the biggest boy in my class. With a smile on her face, I saw how she rough handled my immature and fragile “thing”. She asked me to put my hand into her polo and touch her Bosom. I asked her what was Bosom, she didn’t say and I noticed her eyes were closed while she was still rubbing my “thing”. The huge thing I touched when I inserted my hand inside her cloths made me withdraw my hands almost immediately. She hurriedly forced my hands into the polo and used my hand to handle the so called “Bosom”. What more can I say than enjoy the ecstasy with the hope of becoming the biggest boy in my class. All these filled my mind, till the noise in the parlor disrupted the show and that was all for the night. I ran back to follow my mummy to her room while daddy was sharing sweet for my sisters in the parlor. Six months later, I had become a little bit matured, probably about 8 or 9 years if I can recall, I still continued in the show fervently with Aunty. This period, I now act like a matured boy. I only bath in the bathroom and nobody is allowed to see my bumbum again. But while I was bathing, I discovered that once water touches my “thing”, it starts hurting and paining me. I endure the pain in the bathroom and when I come out, I am very careful not to allow daddy or mummy to know what is wrong because they will start asking me what happened to me. All the same, I was happy and grateful to aunty for making me a big boy. Then few days later, we had a new compound mate. They were going to be occupying the first floor. We stay in the ground floor and my Dad’s colleague was staying in the last floor, so they stayed in the middle. Despite all these, my academics never suffered. I topped all my classes consecutively. I guess it was because aunty was combining the sweet thing and the book together. She always told me that if I do my assignments on time, and pass my test, she will make me happy (whatever that means) anytime I want it. Every classwork or assignment, I only had one thing in mind and that is to pass my work well so that I can show aunty at home; and believe me, she always kept her promises. It was now time for night devotion, mummy taught us how to avoid every type of SIN so that we can be Jesus children. She also told us that if a Girl/Boy comes close to you to touch you, we should always run away from them. After mummy prayed and we went back to our room, I asked aunty Uche if we can stop because I want to be a child of Jesus but she told me that mummy was referring to small girls of my age and not big people like her. I believed because she has always been right. While I slept, I always feeling something SWEET around my thing, but I was just too tired to wake up. Then during the middle of the night, while Mary and Steph were still asleep, I was forced to wake up. She went ahead to teach me how to get something she called a girlfriend but I was already too sleepy to understand; but the fantasy of being the biggest boy in class managed to keep me awake.

EPISODE 1
Just at the embassy, I was told to present a doctor’s report about his health status. Thinking I could just go and manipulate a test result anywhere, I smiled and was about leaving when I heard the voice of the consular saying thus “remember we have lists of recognized hospitals and doctors we trust so much. It is a shame you didn’t ask me”. I was shocked and managed to ask the consular if it made any difference? “Yes it makes!!” replied the consular. “Nigerians are quite a funny people; you should know what I mean. See you 10a.m next week Tuesday”. I started wondering how this could be done. My heartbeat increased in rapid succession. If anything made me wana pee on my pants, it is the fear of going for an H.I.V test. Just then I managed to get home into the hands of my happy dad. “How did it go?” “Where you granted the Visa?” questions upon questions kept coming. I managed to calm him down, and explained that it was remaining my doctor’s report before I could be granted visa to go for my schooling abroad. “Thank God all is done” said my father all beaming with a deep hearted smile. I found my way to my room, and lay on my bed, confused like someone who misplaced a salary cheque. Questions upon questions kept flooding my head. What if I come out positive, I asked myself. But I was always doing Medical tests in school before every semester exam my inner voice queried: just shut your trap!! Another voice objected, everyone knows how flawed the medical system of his university is. You take a test today and get the result tomorrow! Who does that??I was as confused as voter who has to choose between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, who will make a better president. Just then, everywhere went blank!!! Grow up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will never depart from it (prov 22:6) Early days of December 1992, a historical child was given birth to. I was given a name that was reserved for people who the pastors saw something of great potentials in. I later discovered that my parents were Top notch Christians, worshipping with a Bible believing church that is being regarded as ‘STRICT” when it comes to its members associating themselves with the “World” You rather not have a fridge or a television in the house, because it will surely leady you to hell fire, so they said. Every morning before we prepare for school, we were compelled as children to either help in the morning devotion prayers or lead the hymn session or close the prayer. Any of them, it will surely not escape you, so just be prepared. We were barred from going outside our compound, which is just a 2 storey building, inhabited by my father’s colleagues in his workplace. It was a government owned apartment so it was highly reserved and taken care of so well. Few months later, the government sold the building to private realtors therefore the increase in rent made papa Jamie pack out of the building and relocated to lagos. He explained he needed to hustle big time so as to take care of his dwindling fortunes that resulted from non-payments of salaries from the government of the state. It was an emotional farewell and we all cried about it. Few weeks later, things became hard for us too so Mama had to start up a little business very close to daddy’s school so as to compliment daddy’s salary. Due to lack of time to take care of us, I heard mummy telling daddy that we needed to get a Maid! “A maid??” daddy fumed. The values and morals of our children will be at risk! Explained daddy but mummy held her ground. Few weeks later, we welcomed Aunty Jecinta to our house and she became our maid. She didn’t last long because she always fell-out with mummy and she couldn’t take it again, so she decided to leave. Not quite long after Aunty Jecinta left, we welcomed Aunty Uche to our house as our maid again. Aunty Uche was always dressing as a church girl, as if she attends our church. Days ran into weeks, and weeks ran into months, Daddy started travelling because of his Job, and Mummy was coming back quite late most times because of her sales. I am my 2 sisters were left with aunty Uche. I was 7, Steph was 5 and Mary was 9. Most times, I was alone with aunty Uche because Mary and steph were playing with their dolls in the Sitting room. “Do you know you are handsome?” aunty Uche asked me… “Hmmm” “are you serious aunty?” I replied. “So much”, aunty Uche answered back. “You are my little baby” she told me, before making her mouth touch my own mouth. Whatever that means, I don’t know but if feels good, it tastes good, it seems good, it is good!! I said to myself. Aunty, “do me another one naaa…” I requested.. Then she made her mouth touch my own mouth again. “Wow!!” I replied. “Make sure you don’t tell mummy ooo..” she said. “I won’t” I replied her. Then she made her mouth touch my own mouth continuously again till we heard footsteps approaching. She quickly kept me on the floor and appeared busy while I acted as if I was looking for my “:Pankare Ball” Mummy is back was what I heard next and I quickly left the room and rushed to the “palour” in excitement. I started staying together more often with aunty Uche… not really for anything in particular, or wait…. Is it because of the way she makes her mouth touch my own mouth? Maybe oooo…. This evening, we experienced power failure as usual, then I rushed to Aunty Uche’s room and asked her to “DO” me another thing that will be sweet to me na. With a type of smile she always put up, she told me that I allow her to carry me. “No problems Aunty” I hurriedly obliged.

HUAWEI MATE 20 PRO Last week Huawei announced the Mate 20 Pro and it brings together all of the greatness of Huawei into a single device that is going to be tough to beat. The Mate 20 Pro includes the first Android 7nm process chipset with the Kirin 980 (Apple's A12 Bionic also uses the 7nm process), two Neural Processing Units, a fourth-generation image signal processor, and a LTE Cat.21 modem. The triple rear camera capability from the Huawei P20 Pro is brought to the Mate 20 Pro, but in a different central two-by-two arrangement with one change made to one of the three lenses. The three rear cameras have 40MP, 20MP, and 8MP resolution with a 24MP front-facing shooter and artificial intelligence to help you capture great shots. The monochrome lens has been replaced with a wide-angle lens so that you now have telephoto, wide-angle, and standard camera functionality. Also: Huawei Mate 20 Pro is outrageously innovative CNET A large 6.39 inch OLED is on the front with cool Midnight Blue, Emerald Green, Black, Pink Gold, and Twilight color options for the device. Android 9.0 Pie powers things while EMUI has been updated to version 9.0. One interesting move from Huawei is the inclusion of an external storage card slot using its own new nano memory card rather than standard microSD cards. We also see one of the first fingerprint scanners embedded right into the display. Huawei is known for very long battery life and massive batteries so the 4,200 mAh battery is no real surprise, but much appreciated. We will soon have a review and other articles on this new flagship from Huawei. The 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage model is priced at €1049 and is available now in countries outside the US. 2. SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 9 For US customers, the Galaxy Note 9 remains at the top of my domestic phone list. I've been using one now for a couple of months and despite trying out some stunning new phones like the iPhone XS Max and Google Pixel 3 XL , none of these can replace the Note 9 and everything Samsung includes in this stunning device. This is especially true for use in the enterprise space. The Galaxy Note 9 improves upon the Note 8 with a Bluetooth S Pen , more internal capacity and RAM, a massive 4,000 mAh battery, improved dual rear cameras with some software intelligence, enhanced audio capability, and new placement of the rear fingerprint scanner. Also: Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Everything you need to know The new Bluetooth S Pen is an excellent innovation that is sure to please all Note fans with the additional remote control functionality. Later this year a SDK will be released so that third parties can add support for the Bluetooth S Pen. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 continues to have all of the excellent Galaxy Foundation aspects such as a high level of water resistance, fast wireless charging, a stunning Super AMOLED screen, expandable microSD storage, a 3.5mm headset jack, and much more. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has standard pricing across all carriers with the 128GB version available for $999.99 and a 512GB model for $1,249.99. With a large capacity microSD card you could actually have more than 1TB in the palm of your hand. There have been a lot of promotions and special offers over the past month so you can find the Note 9 at less than the full price in many places. CNET: Samsung Galaxy Note 9 review (9.0/10) Check out our Galaxy Note 9 review . 3. APPLE IPHONE XS MAX/XS Apple pushed the entry-level price of a flagship up to $1,000 last year with the iPhone X and raised the bar again this year with the most expensive flagship available in the iPhone XS Max. ZDNet's Jason Cipriani awarded the iPhone XS Max an impressive near-perfect score of 9.6/10 so I'm pretty sure Jason would give the top spot to this phone. I ordered my own iPhone XS Max to replace my iPhone X, using the T-Mobile Jump On Demand program, but after two weeks I sent it back as I found the small size of the iPhone X was one of the primary reasons it still earned a place in my pocket. The Apple iPhone XS Max has been shown to best all other phones in benchmarking testing and the Apple A12 Bionic chipset certainly blazes new trails. It has a fabulous OLED screen, good sized battery, and new camera software to make it a very compelling flagship. The iPhone XS Max starts at $1,099 for a minimal storage 64GB model and runs up to $1,449 for the 512GB model. I may eventually go back to the iPhone XS Max, but there are no Plus-sized optimizations so it is tough for me to personally justify such a big device without something special. CNET: iPhone XS Max review (8.9/10) ZDNet's Jason Cipriani awarded the iPhone XS Max an impressive near-perfect score of 9.6/10. Also: 10 reasons the Galaxy Note 9 is better than the Google Pixel 3 XL for business 4. GOOGLE PIXEL 3 XL AND PIXEL 3 Image: James Martin/CNET While the Galaxy Note 9 offers just about everything you want, software updates are not its specialty. If you want an Android phone that will always have the latest firmware and security updates, while also offering a fairly stock experience, then nothing beats the new Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL. These two phones are the exact same except for the overall size and battery capacity. The Google Pixel 3 XL has a large 6.3-inch 18:9 display, Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB and 128GB integrated storage, single rear 12.2 megapixel camera, dual front-facing cameras, IP68 dust and water resistance, a 3430 mAh battery, and dual front stereo speakers. The smaller Pixel 3 has a 5.5 inch display and smaller 2,915 mAh battery while the rest of the specs are the same as the XL model. Thankfully, wireless charging is included this year, along with a set of wired Pixel Buds in the retail package. The larger Pixel 3 XL has a display with a notch while the smaller model forgoes this design approach so often seen today. They both help you shoot stunning photos so if photography means more to you than other functions and features you may want to consider the Pixel 3 or 3 XL over other smartphones in this list. You can check out my weekend with the Pixel 3 XL where I captured some great shots while on vacation. CNET: Google Pixel 3 XL review (8.9/10) The smaller Pixel 3 starts at $799 while the Pixel 3 XL starts at $899 for the 64GB model. They are both powered by Android 9.0 Pie and will receive OS upgrades for three years. Google's newest Assistant features are present along with some other Google software advances. ZDNet's Jason Cipriani awarded the Pixel 3 XL a 9.2/10 rating. 5. HUAWEI P20 PRO Image: Huawei While US consumers will have to resort to eBay to pick one up, the Huawei P20 Pro is one of the most exciting phones of 2018 , even with its new cousin just launching in the form of the Mate 20 Pro. The unique triple camera design with 68 megapixels worth of shooting power should help you take some fantastic shots with a low light mode that beats out all the other smartphones available today. Huawei has been including massive capacity batteries in its flagships and the P20 Pro is no exception with 4,000 mAh that is sure to get you through at least one full, busy day. It has a large 6.1 inch OLED with a notch you can show or hide, a powerful Kirin 970 processor with integrated AI, IP67 dust and water resistance, and more. Also: 7 things to know about Leica and Huawei's partnership | Huawei's P20 Pro has a huge design flaw Huawei's EMUI has come a long way and the home screen now has a standard Google Feed on one panel with an interface that is close to stock. When Huawei does provide software and settings beyond stock Android, those serve to enhance the device rather than clutter it up and slow it down. The P20 Pro flies through every action and is a sheer joy to use. Sandra Vogel awarded the Huawei P20 Pro an 8.9/10 rating in her full review and CNET gave it an 8.4 in its review . I wrote a post a few months ago after using it for a month and it still goes with me when I want to ensure I capture some great photos. 6. LG V40 THINQ LG continues to release great phones that appreciate over time and in a crowded flagship market, the LG V40 may have a tough time finding its place as well. While Huawei was one of the first major brands to launch a phone with three rear cameras, LG bumped that up by announcing a phone with five total cameras . Three are found on the back and two are on the front. LG has always stood apart from the others with its second rear camera having a true wide-angle lens for great landscape and large room photography. The new LG V40 keeps the wide-angle camera while also adding a telephoto lens to the standard lens option so you can do just about anything you want, including snapping once to take three photos, with this new flagship phone. Like the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, the LG V40 ThinQ has everything but the kitchen sink included. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack with Quad-DAC support, triple rear camera setup, dual front-facing camera, wireless charging, IP68 rating, MIL-STD 810G shock resistant rating, microSD expansion card for inexpensive unlimited storage expansion, a screen that extends nearly the full front with a notch, and incredible audio support with its Boombox speaker system. The 3,300 mAh battery may not get you as far as the top five phones in this list. Last year, the LG V30 impressed me and earned an 8.7/10 rating. I'll be using the LG V40 this week with a full review to come in early November. CNET: LG V40 ThinQ review (8.8/10) 7. APPLE IPHONE XR This year Apple announced three new phones with one releasing a month after the other two. I just ordered my own iPhone XR that will arrive this week. There are no reviews yet available for this phone, but it has many of the same elements found in the iPhone XS/XS Max at a much more reasonable price. The Apple iPhone XR differs from the XS/XS Max with a LED screen instead of OLED, lower resolution, no 3D Touch support (does anyone even care about this?), a single rear camera, and a 6.1 inch display that fits in between these other two new phones. It has the same Apple A12 Bionic processor, same camera software and hardware as the 12MP prime camera, and other enhanced Apple features like face unlock. The iPhone XR has a larger capacity battery than the iPhone XS and a reported battery life greater than the XS and XS Max. You can purchase the iPhone XR in black, white, blue, yellow, coral, and Product Red. The iPhone XR starts at $749, which is $250 less than the 64GB iPhone XS. There is also a 128GB model for just $799, which is likely the best deal for the iPhone XR with the iPhone XS 256GB at a whopping $1,149. Also: Two weeks, too big: Goodbye Apple iPhone XS Max Stay tuned for much more on the iPhone XR as it gets into our hands for further direct testing. 8. SONY XPERIA XZ3 Images: Sony Mobile Sony is back on the 10 best list with its best smartphone in years in the form of the Xperia XZ3. I've been using one for a few weeks and even though I am not happy with the fingerprint scanner placement it is still a compelling smartphone. The Sony Xperia XZ3 matches up on the spec sheet closely with the Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, Android 9 Pie, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 3300 mAh battery, wireless charging, and IP68 dust and water resistance. The Xperia XZ3 has a gorgeous curved design with lovely color options and microSD storage expansion options. The 6 inch OLED screen looks great, especially when viewing video content and experiencing the HDR up- conversion technology. A single 19 megapixel camera is found on the back with a 13 megapixel shooter on the front. The Sony Xperia XZ3 is available now for $899.99 from Amazon and Best Buy in black, forest green, and white silver. CNET: Sony Xperia XZ3 preview Sandra Vogel posted a full review of the OnePlus 6 on ZDNet and awarded it a 8.0/10 rating. 9. SAMSUNG GALAXY S9/S9 PLUS Samsung Samsung launched the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus earlier this year. It's an evolution in the Galaxy S line, but one that leads as close to perfection as you can expect for a smartphone today. Samsung's Infinity Display continues to impress and earns a near perfect score like other Samsung displays on the newest Samsung, Apple, and Google phones. There is 6GB of RAM, the fastest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile processor, a rear dual aperture camera, another one with super slow motion support (S9 Plus only), the ability to add inexpensive microSD cards, improved Bixby assitant and a hardware button dedicated to its use, Samsung Pay payment technology, wireless and fast charging, IP68 dust and water resistance, a USB Type-C standard port, and traditional 3.5mm headset jack. It also launches with Android 8.0 Oreo. There is nothing missing from the Galaxy S9 Plus and it still deserves respect several months later. CNET: Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus review (8.8/10) One of the things that stands out on Samsung phones is RF performance so if you live in an area with a weak cellular signal then you might move the S9/S9 Plus up further in your list of best smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are available at prices starting at $720 (S9) and $840 (S9 Plus). T-Mobile and Samsung have the best prices with other carriers adding additional premiums on top of the MSRP. If you buy an unlocked one from Samsung it will not contain carrier bloatware and is priced lower than most US carriers too. I awarded the S9 Plus a 9.7/10 rating in my full review . Jason Cipriani took the slightly smaller single camera Galaxy S9 for a spin and awarded it a 8.9/10 rating in his full review . 10. ONEPLUS 6 It has been a few years since I bought a OnePlus smartphone, but after testing the OnePlus 6 for a couple of weeks I purchased the gorgeous Silk White model and it may be one of the most attractive phones I have ever seen. If I had an affordable smartphone list, then the OnePlus 6 would be number one with prices ranging from $529 to $629. The lowest cost one still has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage while the $629 model has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. You will not find another phone with these great specs for these prices. CNET: OnePlus 6 review (8.5/10) The OnePlus 6 is composed of two pieces of Gorilla Glass 5 with a metal frame. The design is elegant and the build quality is excellent. It has a lovely AMOLED 6.28 inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, dual rear cameras (they are a bit underutilized compared to the high end flagships), ample RAM and internal storage options, some level of dust and water resistance, a 3300 mAh battery and quick charge capability, with excellent radio support for GSM networks. The display has a notch and also runs the latest version of OxygenOS with an extremely responsive software experience. You can even enable an all touch interface, similar to the iPhone X. Sandra Vogel posted a full review of the OnePlus 6 on ZDNet and awarded it a 9.1/10 rating. The OnePlus 6T may cause some shuffling in the last five on the list, but the top five are likely to remain this way until we see what might be revealed at CES and then MWC in early 2019. If you want to save a few bucks, last yyear'sare still fantastic so you can
pick up an iPhone X, iPhone 8 or 8 Plus, Pixel 2 o 2XL, and more at a significant saings and still get a fantastic http://kennethoj..com/2018/11/top-10-smart-phones-2018.html
