Babycherry:Thought I was the only one who noticed that trend amongst contestants. |
daviddagreat:Na kuku guy o my broda. we're in the last days. |
am_different Na badt guy. see finishing. the mumu gay can't even write well, he's bleached part of his brain too. idiot feeling fly with useless achievements. I wonder the brand of adult diaper he uses cos that place go don tear finish. ewu Gambia |
comtem2011:thanks ma. I'll take him to the hospital |
comtem2011:on the watery eyes your son had, was there a sticky, yellow discharge with it? my son had it from birth, I apply eye drops and they go only to return days later. I don't know what to apply again. I want it to stop completely. |
rezzy:there's really nothing you can do. it'll clear up on its own. to ease him a bit, u can try sucking the mucus out with your mouth if u can. my Lil oga also has catarrh now but I'm not worried cos I know it'll pass. u can increase your fruit intake so you'll pass it on to him via bf that's if he's still bfeeding. |
After giving birth, baby was in the hospital nursery for some days. During bath time, nurses told us to use just Savlon to bath them(it acts as soap cos it lathers well in the sponge) and apply nothing to their skin till like 6months after. I was surprised but decided to try it out n see. Baby is 7 weeks now, gets the occassional rashes but his skin is very very fine. I'd bought coconut oil prior to baby's birth(intended using it for him) but as I'm following hospital's instructions(though I can't wait till he's 6months o!), I decided to use the coconut oil on myself. Chai!! I sweat like mad anytime I use it no matter the time of day I have my bath. So I'm wondering if Oga too will sweat so much if I use for him too? And, do you suggest just coco oil or a mixture with shea butter? Rofemiguwa, how's your princess? Pls don't sweat it, rashes will clear. Pele. |
Hello mommies, silent thread follower here. My lil arrived a week ago, I gave birth in the car. When I remember all that went down, I wish there was a cameraman to record all the action cos thinking back now, it was so funny. I went visiting my inlaws with hubby and that night around 11pm, the pains started. Hubby was like let's go to the hospital o, but I was forming veteran(I have a 3 year old boy). I said its not time yet. Couldn't bear it again, went to the sitting room, met FIL. He saw my behaviour and told me to go get dressed for hospiital, I nor gree. Meanwhile, I had gone to poo like 6 times within 3hours. Finally, I agreed to go to go the hospital around 4:30am. On our way, I dey scream die, must have woken up any street we passed through. The next thing I knew, I heard 'pish', my mucus don comot and I had the mad urge to push. Tried holding it but no way, baby's head came out and body followed swiftly. I thank God for everything. Though my son is still traumatised, he was in the back seat of the car with me and saw the whole show. Everytime, he still tells me I'll cry in the night and baby will fall on the floor of the car. I wish all preggos a safe delivery. Kisses! |
ronald4lif, I'm based in Ondo state. I get all your points, thanks so much. Seems you're an employer as you're talking from their point of view but I really get you though. Every employer sets out to get the best from their workers, no one wants a "liability". |
afrobaby, you're right. I'm sure its that maternity stuff they're bothered about. Its frustrating sometimes but the search continues. ronald4lif, its not that easy. maybe its the kind of person I am, I don't know. any coy that won't hire me cos I'm preggy can't be such a good coy to work for or what do you think? lepacious, please I'm open to suggestions. you're working from home now? miami11, how did you cope? |
adedayourt:Thanks sir! I appreciate the encouraging words. |
I recently lost my job (sobs) and I've been trying to get another. once I mention that I'm pregnant, story go change. Do people feel pregnant ladies can't function well or what? I can't stay at home doing nothing cos imaginary sicknesses just start to worry me; from backache to headache to tummy pain all because I'm idle and paying too much attention to myself. I've thought about hiding it as im not showing yet but I wanna be honest jare. it didn't easy. I need to work cos I need the money and to keep busy also. Ever gone through this? |
the scan I did at 7 months gave me the most accurate EDD, gave birth exactly on that date. All earlier scans fell way off, either too early or too late. Just wanted to point that out to people saying earlier scans give more accurate EDD. OP,I'm sure you were counting the pregnancy in months that's why it seems overdue to you. While preggy, my neighbour gisted me that her child stayed 10months plus in the womb. I fear, only got to understand how its counted later. Relax, nothing dey hapun. |
florakims:you're correct. |
Hmmm, better. I pray things go well. Safest delivery for her by God's grace. Here in Ondo state self at mother and child hospital, all through antenatal till birth, you don't pay a dime. Give birth, rest a bit, get up,dust your bum and go home. if you like,do CS or any major operation, you don't pay a dime. That's what I used for my first child o, I must to shop national cake ke. |
Hmmmm, I troway yansh for una for NL o!! See as una just dey fall omo boy hand. I was also wondering at the purpose of the thread. for us to insult the wife/babymama? remark on the beauty of his child or what? Op, quite immature of you, I must say. |
ravensckar:wasn't expecting any less from you, na una 2 sabi. enjoy the circus. I wish say I go una precious OAU, I for fit understand the bisma bisma grammar wey una dey blow o! |
ravensckar:. |
Evathyst:Pele dear. I pray you get well soon. |
Evathyst, I must confess the way you argue is very rude!! must you use insults to drive home your point? thank God you've left the teaching profession as you said cos I wonder at the kind of teacher you must have been. I wanted to keep quiet all these while but where you referred to someone you don't even know as a frustrated baboon just got to me. you don't know if she's way older than you, has kids or something of the sort. you can reply with another insult, I won't be surprised as that's your trademark. |
tyconcepts, I gerrit now. thanks. |
favoredgal:loool!! seriously?? Then, that's a tough matter o! Thought it would just be matter of much paperwork, visits to your residence to determine how fit it is for the child and little little things like that. maybe I watch too many foreign movies then. |
jieta:oga, let me also correct you. its 'just' not 'jst', 'your' and not 'ur', 'needs' not 'need'. Thanks in anticipation of the insults to come. |
Haven't you guys read several posters stories on how they started? abeg, some people's destinies flourish from very little beginnings and before you say Jack Robinson, they are blazing at the top. To each his own. |
The abbreviations on this thread na die. For jjcs like me, I just don't gerrit. bfp, bs, lo and so many like that. |
Hafsat24, wow!! touching story there. I can only imagine what your mum went through. terrible. but I often wonder why Nigerians don't go the adoption route if they want more kids. I remember discussing with some women who were pressurizing me to get pregnant then, that I want to adopt. they screamed and said "ah, God forbid o!! It can never be like having your own child o". I was surprised that day sha. thanks for the encouraging words, I appreciate. euphorbia, lol. dem suppose sue that hospital o!! Tor, if I have twins or triplets self, wetin I go do? Life goes on ni. thanks a lot. |
he he he, I laugh in Spanish. Una Neva sabi what's up that's why you're wondering at a graduate collecting 15k. I really laugh and pray such won't come your way. Enter town make you see as things dey go. Don't say things you ain't sure of!! |
Kimoni:ayaf heard you though I wonder why peeps think I'm not sure of my decision. I sure gan ni, I've always wanted just 2 kids, same with oga too. I'll be very angry if I get pregnant a 3rd time(lol) that's why I want something permanent. suggested a vasectomy for my oga, he just look me laugh. or I'll do surrogacy for the 3rd one(winks). |
ttaolin500:There's no need pasting any name so no one will fall victim as you said. to some, that 15k job is just ideal for them at the moment. everyone's got different expectations, even the 35-45k quoted by the applicant is chicken feed to some. so, that's how it is my bro. |
aalangel:yea, I understand. that's why my comment wasn't so serious cos I know stuff like this happens. I'm also very playful and might do same if I were in her shoes and my oga wouldn't raise hell. |
kaffy4bill:I'm very sure oh!! if the need for another baby arises, we'll adopt. we've ironed it out wella. thanks my sis. |
