SOUTH AFRICAN UNIVERSITIES TO OFFER BACHELORS DEGREES IN WITCHCRAFT

The South African Minister of Higher Education and Training, Blade Nzimande has announced plans to have witchcraft included in the curriculum from 2018.

Speaking to representatives from student unions around the country, the minister announced the shocking move and urged future university entrees to consider taking Witchcraft. “There is a lot we can learn from witchcraft, like how they fly in that winnowing basket. Imagine if we learn that skill. It will eradicate traffic jams and everyone will just get in their basket and fly. It also means we will not be importing fuel anymore.” Blade said.

The announcement was met with boos and bottle throws from the packed auditorium who had gone to the meeting hoping the minister would announce a 0% fee increase for the coming year. The unperturbed minister also invited renowned witches to make an appointment with his office so they can have their skills tested and those outstanding would then be hired as lecturers.

He also invited witches from across the border, promising them permanent residents permits. “I spoke to Gibs (Minister of Home affairs Malusi Gigaba) and he agreed to issue witches from outside South Africa with permanent residence permits. I heard Malawi and Zimbabwe have an impressive collection of witches. We are hoping they will heed the call”, he added.

Applications is said to be closing on the 30th of September at midnight, after which an appointed panel with conduct interviews. There currently is an opening for 109 witches.

But you can see that alot of other investigations are ongoing and quite a few involve some APC leaders,” he said. On why the president is not pursuing other areas such as economy with the same vigour he is pursuing anti-corruption, Oyegun said: “The President is somebody who multi-tasks, he can work on different issues at the same time. The only difference is that corruption attracts headlines. Mr. X stole N20 billion, ha! Headlines, you people in the media make it headlines. When you hear that there is a project in XYZ place, you say, well, it’s one of those things and you give it small space but when a major elite is accused of stealing X amount of money, it is headlines. This has nothing to do with the importance which the President is giving to different issues that face of.
Asked if his party made too many campaign promises which were yet to be fulfilled, he said some of the things people said the president promised were false.“The President did not make too many promises. A lot of other things people are saying are neither here nor there; people are saying things he never said. Things like: he will make the Naira equivalent to the Dollar; he never said things like that but people just manufacture and read what they want to read into these issues,” Oyegun stated.

I got a bit all confused today as I was about taking a Malaria drug(Amalar) bought for me by me girlfriend.I checked the expiry date on the Pack it says April 2018.Then after opening the drug and before taking I saw the short message code to determine if the drug is genuine or not,So I decided to try it out for the first time.After I scratchd d silver coating and send the hidden number to the short code,i received an instant message telling me that the drug was Genuine but was to be expired on the 30,April 2016.I was confused on whether to take the drug or not but later took it..Please for people that has had similar experience,what is your take on this and what is your advise on this incase of future occurrences...
