it is commonly said that the university apart from the press represents the hub of intelligentia. I live in ilorin,and have observed the influx of both fresh and returning students after their break. I beleive they have their reasons as a school for not joining the strike. They can not be blamed for operating a smooth academic calendar. But should they benefit from other peoples suffering if/when the reward comes?

it first started with disappearing credit. i would load and without making a single call my account balance would fall to zero. And then like a bad joke,messages would come in saying things like: your subscription for fulani proverbs has been renewed. Other times it would be ibo proverbs. This might be a bit easier to take if this proverbs were worthwhile but as you would guess they are always laughable. I know etisalat are not alone in this as mtn too has turned their callertunes into a cash cow. Please all this should stop before i head for NCC

to answer d op questn, we ll gain a lot if d goverment agrees to improve d budgetary allocatn to 25percent from an unbeleivable 5percent...bt on d oda hand ASUU shld explore oda means of making dier grievances known rather than punishing students everytym
