Done with my postgreSQL classes, with two projects(one on COVID-19 and the other on People VS Car) and more to come.

It's almost a week now I started my Tableau class(self learning) so I decided to share my progress here, gurus here should rate my work.

For context : My journey so far on Dataanalyst/science

Spreadsheet(Excel) >> through with basics and half way through advance()

Database(postgresql)>> through with basics,Intermidiate, advance(),more projects(practice) to come.

Dataviz(Tableau)>>>At the Basics.

Programming(Python)>>> Basics, I am procrastinating etc.

PROJECTS
I have two project on excel.

There is this notion that PowerBI is preferred to Tableau in African community what do you think ?

When I was in 500l, I took seven elective courses (two faculty faculty electives + five department electives)... Elective courses are outlined in your handbook, you just have to pick the ones you'd like to do. You have the minimum number of electives to do (you may do more if you want). You must not do less than the stipulated total units for you to graduate. You may decide to do more, but you can do less.
In conclusion, electives are somehow compulsory, however, you have the opportunity of deciding the ones you want to do and those ones you don't want.

1st given their data to work on from home.
2nd was given their data plus theory which was executed in their office
3rd was given their data which I also did from home.

Just understand the data being thrown at you is to check whether you are capable or not and to know how you think about data. Questions on the data are always direct

Pls can you give more insight on this interview process

Depends its multipurpose you can even use it for graphics

This last two images, how did you do that?

Firstly I change the background then use square shape to make the tiles and transparent too(50%) then I copied each viz from their source/sheet to each tiles respectively after that I created a slicer for the viz and designed it as the filter

My own friend started learning data science in 2019. That was a year before I learnt coding. I have switched like 3 jobs now and he's yet to get the first data science one. I have told him to abandon that crap he said AI is the future. Future my ass. Person no go chop for present.

Today I decide to practice what i learnt so far, so i get dirty on excel dashboard, took me 1.5hrs

My journey so far on Dataanalyst/science

Database(postgresql)>> through with basics also and Intermidiate, started advance(trigers,privileges,turncate etc) today.

Dataviz(Tableau)>>> NOT YET

Programming(Python)>>> Basics only eg Datatype, turples, Bolean, while loop, for loop etc.
PROJECTS
I have two project on excel now
One project on Sql (Covid-data)
more to come

Due to current admission(still in university) I haven’t got time to study full, i only study when am free(holidays) eg Now am taking advantage of ASUU strike �
