Abuja people, how is the TB centre there, can I get a manual booking at the centre with no stress? I have sent a mail to the Ikeja TB centre on Friday, have received automatic reply but no appointment. Please make I know whether I go carry myself go abuja go do everything, this one I dey hear 1am, 2 am for TLS VI

Pls Contact the school for correction. My CAS also had a little error...I had to mail my school to rectify it which they did.

My congratulations is here. Only God has the final say. What God cannot do, does not exist.

This journey to japa started since 2017. We started with Canada express entry. We did everything required and entered the pool not knowing that being in the pool is not a guarantee of being picked. When we realised it could take eternity to be picked from the pool we decided to try the student route yet I got refused 3 times . That was how I gave up and decided to begin further studies here in 9ja first. However, I realized I was guiding and helping my friends and colleagues to move out of the country while I still remained in 9ja. I wasn’t bothered initially, but the situation of the country coupled with the spate of insecurity made us to rethink our future, especially because of our children.
Finally we decided to go through the UK student route...to cut long story short God came through for us, the whole process was seamless , where it seems it was going to be difficult, God showed forth and made it easy.

Family of 5 all submitted at the same time

Date of Biometrics : August 17th. We had appointment for one and paid for walk in for the remaining 4
Visa type: Paid for priority for main applicant and standard for others

Centre: Ikeja TLS

Collection Email: 26th August

School: Sheffield Hallam University

Passport picked up 27th Aug.for main applicant, my husband and one of my children. Got a non straight forward mail for one of the kids and to also resend her TB certificate few days after biometrics. Awaiting collection mail for the remaining two.

My appreciation especially to all who take their time to respond to questions in the group. I have been a silent reader but gathered enough information that helped me through this process. No agent was used .

Highlights
1. We almost started all over again cos our funds was threatened.
2. I was troubled for a whole weekend after my TB certificate did not come out with the rest of my family on the test day. They said they were reviewing it cos of some suspicions they thought they saw. I had to wait from Friday to Monday to get their decision. On reaching there the IOM staff said congratulations and gave me my certificate showing a normal chest x-ray. I was as happy as today that I got my visa.

After all the delays and near misses my God came through for me. It feels like I'm dreaming, can't believe I am typing my visa testimony.

I want to say special thank you to everyone that answered my questions and mails. My special thanks goes to @babababy (special human) who answered me explicitly even at past midnight when I was on sleepless night filling out dependants applications. God bless you all and may all our great dreams come to pass.

Good evening all. Please a friend going for PhD ( 4 years ) said using the IHS calculator, he got £2115. After submitting Visa application, time to pay for the IHS using the same start and end date he got £1660. Please is it possible?

My story is long, bear with me:

17th of April, hubby booked TB test for May and sent me a link to complete my application, I didn't know I was supposed to receive a reference code, I just saw successfully booked, which turned out not to be successful by the way, the test was for May 11. I woke up on May 3rd feeling somehow, something pushed me to ask him if he had the page I was supposed to go to IOM with, that's how kassala burst, he said he thought I had completed the application and have it on my email, I was really sad, I couldn't sleep, in the course of trying to book, I ran into a page on Nairaland that someone got a visa ban because their agent helped with a visa to Togo to help with travel history, I was shook because I had once used an agency "EWC" popularly known as "EWScam", they coerced me into getting visa stamps for Togo and Mali even though I have never visited these countries, it was for my Canadian study application and I was denied anyway and they also refused to send the reason to me because they expected me to pay an "administrative fee" after I already parted ways with 250,000 just for admission o, i refused and left them to God.

I was perplexed but the Holy Spirit ministered to me that my Tb test difficulties was exactly for this revelation, I was also confused on what next to do as we were in May and Nigeria was having issues with Passport booklets. I sha called my passport guy and he assured me I would get my passport in May, I didn't.

That was the start of another bout of sleepless nights cos IOM gave me one week to come back for my result after I told them not to print cos I didn't have the passport yet and I didn't even have a timeline for when I was going to get it but God being the messiah, the passport was ready by 21st of June (6 days after Tb test) and thus began the CAS and visa timeline.

I just want to use this medium to thank everyone who has been helpful with visa applications on this platforms, May God bless everyone.

*Note: If you can afford to, pay for priority, Standard is not for the weak!!

Gurus, a quick one please, TB Test fee was mistakenly paid to the Lagos account details in error while applicant is applying from Abuja. Appointment has already been booked at the Abuja office. Please how do we go about this one. Is it that of a problem? Can the test still be done in the Abuja office regardless?

Its possible because there is evening appointment now due to exponential increase in the number of applicants...My cousin had 4pm appointment two weeks ago and left their office around 11:30pm after collecting result.

Ofcourse mine , I paid with POS , after they withdrew from my ATM , my name didn't appear only their name on the small paper. The date I got online was too far so I just walked in and got mine today. I hope this answers your question .
