She paid 1k pounds at first to get her cas, but last week she paid more money to make it 50% tuition, so half of her tuition fee is paid now. But the school is yet to amend her cas, the school already debited her, but she needs to upgrade her cas before applying for visa so the 50% tuition could reflect, please how long does this process takes? She’s really running out of time and we’re all scared

You should have just applied with the original information in the CAS. Don't you think that the extra fee could have been better payed after visa. This way you guys would have avoided this further times you're wasting now.

As it is now, you can only bombard the school with mails and calls.

If the Amber listed countries have been considered as safe as to have initiated talks of scrapping covid-19 pre-depature test from them from 4th Oct, then it is difficult to think that they will now fall back into red. It is not logical. Abeit we can only hope and pray.

Hello, my people; Today has been a sad � day in my house. My sis who applied for a student visa since the last week of July on got an email today to go pick up her passport at the TLS office Abuja after so many delays despite paying for priority service.

When she picked up her passport there was no visa stamp on it to make the matter even more confusing, there was no letter stating reasons for her refusal as well.

Please house we need advice on what further actions to take on this case.

This is so sad!

My sister is off to Sheffield Hallam University this January. She has been issued an unconditional offer.

I would like to know how long it takes for the pre-CAS interview if she pays her deposit by Friday? Will she be required to submit her 28-days bank statement before she would be allowed to do the interview or before CAS is issued?

I have sent an email to the University about this but we haven't heard a response.

How is the pre-CAS interview like in terms of Duration? I reckon it will be via Skype?

As soon as Sheffield Hallam confirms her tuition fee deposit, she will between 2 to 6 days be sent a link through mail for Pre-CAS booking appointment via Skype, in that link contains possible dates within which she can book the interview, now how soon the date she's selecting depends on how prepared she is for the interview because it can as well be failed. (Take note)

If she's successful with the Pre-CAS interview she will receive her CAS within 5 working days maximum.

No, Sheffield Hallam does not require POF nor TB Test cert before CAS is issued. The only prerequisite is the Pre-CAS Interview as I have explained.

The interview is 15 mins maximum all things being equal. It is done through Skype and in that booking link, they will explain to her what she needs to do for a hitch free Interview. The key is just to prepare well.

No the application form is not required. Infact the only thing needed for biometrics is your application checklist (just the first page though), photocopy of your passport data page and the passport itself.

Open the mail you applied with. Click the student visa link >click provide documents and biometrics>click track application.

The website is your best bet for tracking. Up till now my tracking App still shows Application transferred to DMC even when I've collected my visa almost 24 hrs ago

Today, all things being equal. Did biometrics on the 6th and got collection mail yesterday being the 13th.

It's not much of a problem, I experienced same, what you need do is to add in the more information field that "You attached a so so... Bank statement to this application between the month of x to z with the closing balance of....." But then don't forget to upload the bank statement.

That will suffice. I did same and have my visa already. Goodluck!!
