1. There are various ways you can have double profiles, and in your case , the only scenario that could have happened
is that you had an appointment before the update, but you did not wait for the embassy email, and decided to pay another MRV ?

2. Well, the case of a double profile is not what you can rectify alone because
double profile actually means fraud. Go back to my previous suggestion and do the needful. Why do you want to fill another DS-160 ? Do you want to make it triple profile ? If you fill another DS-160 how does it erase your double profile ? Go and communicate your issues with the embassy and IOS.

yes I was refunded by pay4me app after 2 days, because they stated it was only my own application that was having this issue of payment not successful, on the AVITS website after signing in , on my dashboard section there is an icon with pending appointment request and cancel appointment request, so I cancelled it and restart a fresh one, since then I have not been able to progress to where to make payment section, it always saying duplicate applicant found for this user.
I did not create a new profile still the same profile, just a different appointment, after canceling the one rejecting payment.
I don't know if I should just fill up a new DS-160 form maybe that will help

1. When the refund was initiated after using pay4me app, were you actually refunded before you proceeded with the Providus platinum card ? The website might be protecting you from being double charged.

2. You cancelled the appointment and restarted a new one , how did you do it ? Did you open another profile ? Otherwise, you are not supposed to go back to the section of inputting your passport details, you are supposed to continue from the payment section.

3. Anyways , here is the solution the USA embassy puts forward "

Please note, that after making a payment via Cash or EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer), you need to allow one business day for the bank to process the transaction before continuing to the appointment calendar to book an appointment. If you paid by card or your cash/ EFT payment is delayed longer than the above mentioned processing time, please use the ''Create a ticket'' option in your scheduling account on usvisaappt.com to send us the payment confirmation and the screenshot of the error you encountered, alongside with a brief explanation of the error. Our support desk will process your inquiry and respond as soon as possible. Please do not make an additional payment as it will not be refunded.

* Also, make voice call to the embassy in order to rectify your double profile.

Good morning please I tried booking an appointment on the AVITS website, when I got to the payment section, I used pay4me app, I was told my payment was not successful so a refund was initiated, I tried using a providus platinum card still same problem. so I cancelled that appointment and restarted a new one, now when I want to submit my passport details so I can be redirected to the make payment page it was telling me duplicate applicant existed, I have a raised a support ticket since a week ago still in review.
I picked Lagos US embassy as my interview place
please how can I rectify this error.
