You will have to reschedule your appointment , it takes more than 3 months but you can fast track it . I paid 25k for fast tracking

My capturing is next week Thursday. And I went to the office today. The woman checked and I had a problem of date of birth, from my NIN.
I've read what others said about correction. So, I decided that I'm going to Alausa tomorrow for the correction and validation.
I went online. And I heard that you will pay 15K for the correction. Is that true?
And who did correction of NIN, how long did it take? I heard it takes 2 months before its corrected. Is that true?

I had the same issue . You will pay 15k via remitta and also do court affidavit

Hello everyone. So I've been tracking my passport since I captured on July 28 (at Alausa) and it's been stuck at the final stage since the very first day but today I checked and it's showing no progress at all. What could be wrong? Do I need to go the passport office or could this be a sign that the passport is ready?

5. Met the PRO, an efficient lady, fair and slim who delivered excellent customer service to all those with complaints.

I got a shock of my life today at Alausa NIS office in Lagos today.

100% DIY.
Captured 4th May 2022.

I was there today to check for collection and was told my passport is not ready again. I made further inquiry in the collection room and was told that the reason for the delay is because my file was missing in the production room.

I was advised to reopen another file with all my application documents at Servicom so that they can complete the production. I almost collapse. Imagine hearing this after waiting for almost five months after capturing.

Job no Dy anywhere for this country but with the right mindset and prayer u can still be making little money on daily basis. I renew Driver's licence,Car documents , i also deal with number plates (Lagos and Abuja) and I deliver car to any state though it's not easy but Great is thy faithfulness.

Not DIY, I actually planned to DIY but when I got there and they told me my passport is damaged and I needed to go to Abuja, I just gave up and did normal jejely.

Agent collected, I just picked up from him

Maybe you should give yourself minimum of 3 months from now if you did 100% DIY at Alausa. They have alot of backlog to clear and I think they are still clearing those that captured this year May.

I did captured for renewal at Alausa on the 4th
of May. I was there last week and they told me my passport is not ready, and that I should wait for text message from them. I'm four months plus waiting for my passport to be ready . This is not funny at all

My friend collected his passport 2 weeks ago at Alausa and he captured may 14. #DIY#

Good day all, In my collection slip at Alausa they said i should come September 12. Went there today, process was fast. They called my name and said my Passport isn't ready. Wrote some stuffs with red biro on the slip and said i will get a text when it's ready. I went through DIY 100% and want to ask, how long will i have to wait? Although i don't need it urgently but why are others getting there's with just the slip and mine isn't ready? Is it because of the DIY process? Thanks all.

Please someone should advice me on what to do.... I did registration for passport online, this is my first time of applying for passport. I chose 64pages. I learnt from a friend that I should have chosen 32 pages. I have paid for the 64pages online yesterday. Can I still change it to 32 pages? Will those people consider me and give me the 64pages? What did you think I can do?

You cannot change it to 32 pages since you already make the payment but the 64 pages is also okay

I got a mail to upload my documents on Tuesday and I uploaded all the documents on Wednesday . I received another mail to upload my documents again on Wednesday which I did but I'm still expecting the mail for interview

anybody can be your guarantor but the person must have a valid international passport

No. There are only 3 passport offices in Lagos ( Alausa Passport Office, ikoyi passport office and festac passport office)

I have been in this last stage anytime I check the tracker since early May .
I captured on the 4th of May at Alausa for renewal o!
I have visited the center five times and they keep telling me not ready. DIY is not for the faint hearted.

NIS is corrupt beyond repair!
From minister to clearner in every centre especially in the south. Just that some centers get better PCO that still dey make dem get small small sense. Sagamu center is currently one of such less devil.

DIY is highly frustrating. If you don't have the patience just no bother.

My friend captured may 11 @ Alausa and he got his passport yesterday . #DIY#

I applied to renew my international passport using the DIY process. And I can only say those officers are hellbent on frustrating DIY people but we won’t stop advocating for it.

Captured: 4th August 2022 This was a breeze, didn’t pay a dime even though the friend I thought I had whom I approached to see if there was anything he could do because the two months wait for capturing was too long tried to hijack it and turn it into a money milking situation however I called his bluff and told him I didn’t wait for 2 months to enrich their pockets just for capturing alone (Those people know no friends when it comes to this).

I saw a website for tracking today so I decided to track my application and got the biggest shock of my life. My portal is yet to be updated at all. It’s been over 3 weeks since I captured and my profile is still like this. Is this normal?
