tysaxmalomo: From what I know, if you need a supervisor, are u contacting them to supervise you in their area of interest as regards research and are u mailing them without a prototype of your research proposal? Most professors will not take u serious if you don't send them a draft of your research proposal, make sure your introduction gives them enough info to know hat your research is going to be about. pls can u send me a sample... kennynelcon@gmail.com. Thank you |

sholay2011: Hmmm...it is well oh.
I was shocked when I got to my department eagerly to welcome the new graduate students for Fall 2016 and only met 3 people: 2 Caucasians and 1 Pakistani. I was told all the expected students that got admission (majorly from Ghana and Nigeria) had visa issues, even the ones with funding.
Even the lecturers are disappointed. When one is already looking forward to teaching a class of about 25 and there are just 5 students.
Probably VO's are now more strict or the immigration rules are being tightened. Either way, what will be will be. Let's package our applications with attention to details and leave the rest to God. It is well.
#MayNigeriaBeGreat# pls which uni is that. |

vancouverguy: U on point . Australia seems to be much easier to get.my family friend cldnt even secure admission for MSc Canada wt his 2.1.so he never applied for visa wt canada so I don't know what his experience would have bn...but then in couple of months he got admission to Australia and then said he got his visa too..was like magic when he informed me...based on our conversation,it appears it a good country too.he seem to be enjoying it...overall, we concluded it tougher to stay permanently in Australia after studies based on the way he explained it to me in comparison to canadian options that I know of...now that is outside of the hustling option sha o (which is getting married ).it tough in canada too not like they hand permanent residence like gala but maybe not as tough as Australia. So do your research well don't just make a move just coz u want quick visa to leave. ..what will be the end game afterwards? Reminds me of peeps that went to uk back then..visa was 2 weeks or less at most..cdn was too stressful then too guess what most are in Canada after schooling in uk.i know a few.some cldnt afford another huge tuition anymore therfore they stayed in Nigeria. The marriage stuff is true, a Canadian told me she came down and married a Ghanaian till toady the Ghanaian guy never smell Visa...three refusals, both man and woman don weak, last time she spoke she was considering divorce to avoid bigamy. |

michV: bro will i have to write IELTS..how long will i remain after studies before i can get white collar to permanent my stay.but still no be by white collar, menial dey pay wella oo. Do i need an agent? i don't understand german immigration system..should i start learning German..what are the opportunities there? For TUM u don't need IETLS and you don't need to learn German, you don't even need a supervisor, no school fees, just make sure you open a block acct with 8,500 euros...na the admission be the main stuff. For the admission, make sure you have an excellent SOP, also check your Transcript to know areas you performed well...eg. if all your fluid courses were A, u check for fluid mech related courses n apply. There, Masters program require internship, big Multinationals(BMW, GE, MERCEDES) will call you without applying... they also have a special program for power engineering. German Engineers are Good. |
