Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp could be the new head coach of the Super eagles in a shock appointment, the Daily Star has claimed. The Nigeria Football Federation appointed Salisu Yusuf as interim manager this week to take charge of two upcoming friendlies against Mali in Paris on May 27 and Luxembourg on June 1. But Redknapp, who was once tipped to become England coach, has been reportedly approached to take over the Super Eagles full time. Daily Star claims that a source close to the team revealed Redknapp could be named as the next permanent Nigeria manager within a few days. Sunday Oliseh, who left in February after falling out with the NFF over unpaid salaries, was the last permanent head coach of the Super Eagles. Redknapp is largely untested at international level after narrowly missing out on the England job to Roy Hodgson. Last month Redknapp, 69, finished a two-game deal managing Jordan – reportedly a favour for the country's FA president Prince Ali bin al-Hussein. See they payment screen shot below; https://i.imgur.com/SbiYL4O.jpg https://i.imgur.com/zeBOpge.gif See the screen shot of the Bitcoin i sent to the client wallet below below; https://i.imgur.com/SuwyCpf.gif The next day been Sunday, September 13th, i went to UBA ATM located at Ebeano Housing Estate in Enugu (by Otigba junction) to withdraw money, the ATM kicked my card out. The following day been Monday, September 14th, i went to same UBA branch at Ebeano Housing Estate and complained, they told me that my account has been blocked for receiving fraudlent payment of N200,000. They told me that owner of the account in First City Monument Bank (FCMB) where the money was transferred from reported to his bank (FMCB) that he didn't authorize the transfer and the bank (FCMB) reported to them (UBA), that is why my account was blocked. I explained to the Operation Manager (a woman) that the payment (N200,000) was for $832 worth of Bitcoin i sold to a client and i have already send the Bitcoin to the client wallet when i confirmed the payment, the Operation Manager told me to go and find the person that sent the money to my account. I called the client phone number (09094991664) which he used to call me on Saturday to complain to him, but the number was switched off and is still switched off up till date. I have gone to the bank several times to resolve this problem, but the operation Manager still insist that I must provide the person that sent the money to my account, I told her that I'm willing to submit every information the client registered on my website to support their investigation but to no avail. I have called UBA Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC) on +234 1 280 8822, the phone will ring with no answer. I have also sent an email to CFC@ubagroup.com, but no reply. There was a day I tried to chat with a UBA online support agent, as soon as i submit my account details to the operator, she went offline. I tried again, the operator i connected with told me that they will look into it and get back to me, but since then I have not receive any email, text or phone call from UBA. On Monday, November 9th, i checked my mailbox and and saw an email notification from UBA, i opened the mail and saw that an Interest of N690.82 was credited my account. Later in the day, i went to the bank to check whether my account has been unblocked, i slot in my card in the ATM and it was kicked out. On Wednesday, September 11th, I called the Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC) again on +23412808822 since i am not getting any positive response from my branch at Ebeano Housing Estate in Enugu (by Otigba junction), luckily for me, a lady answered my call, i provided my account details to her, she checked my account status and told me that the client "Bluehill Investment" who sent the money to my account was the same person that went back immediately and called his bank (FCMB) that the transfer he made to my account was a fraudulent transfer. She also told me that my branch at Ebeano Housing Estate in Enugu have not notified them on this matter since two months, that they will contact they Ebeano Housing Estate branch and get back to me. But up till today, UBA have not contacted me in any way and my account is still blocked. Please i need you guys advice and help on how to resolve this matter, the 200k they blocked is affecting my business because i am not longer doing Turn-over as usual dont worry mr something would be done about it have contacted uba on ur bahalf and if they require anything from you i would let you know or direct them to you ............am really sorry for the inconvenience please |

Dr. Marilyn Glenville, author of Healthy Eating For The Menopause, says; “You may decide to take less sugar in your tea—but, it is the hidden added sugar in products that can be the major culprit.” It has been calculated that we could be taking in up to 46 teaspoons of added sugar in a day in the foods and drinks we consume.” Swap sugar-free brands of tomato ketchup of spaghetti sauce. You can replace sugar with xylitol, which is naturally found in fruits and berries and has a low glycaemic index (a measure of how fast blood sugar levels rise after eating). source:.http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/10/menopausal-symptoms-no-one-warns-you-about/ |
By Bunmi Sofola The menopause has always been the bane of the average middle-aged woman. Hot flushes, weight gain and a diminished sex drive are all well-known symptoms of the dreaded menopause. But research now confirms what women have long suspected; that it can affect the body and mind in many other ways. Tanith Carey takes a professional look at what you can do to tackle these surprising side-effects… You start snoring: For years, you’ve been complaining that your partner’s snoring keeps you awake. Now the menopause is setting in, he could well be pointing the finger at you. Many women start snoring—more seriously once they hit the change of life which is 51 on average. File: Menopause The onset of snoring is partly due to falling levels of female sex hormone oestrogen, which— as well as regulating the menstrual cycle—also plays a role in keeping the muscles and soft tissues around the wind-pipe strong. When these become more lax, the tissues collapse—and women can’t breathe as easily when they sleep.’ In the most serious cases, it can lead to sleep apnoea, where the airways become partially or totally obstructed for up to ten seconds at a time, forcing the brain to wake up—even though the sleeper may not be aware of it. A study by the University of Toronto found that 47 per cent of post-menopausal women suffer with the condition—compared to 21 per cent of younger women. Because the quality of sleep is impaired by the constant waking, side-effects can include tiredness, anxiety and forgetfulness. How to fight back: Try buying a pillow designed to make you sleep on your back—or with your head and throat in alignment—so your airways stay open as you sleep. For women with serious cases of sleep apnoea, there are masks, called CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure), which blow air into the throat to keep breathing easier. You’re lost for Words: Word on the tip of your tongue you just can’t recall? Forgetting an old friend’s name? It could be another symptom of the menopause. In one study, 40 per cent of women aged 40—55 said they had trouble remembering things, even when their other thought processes remained as strong as ever. Studies have shown that when oestrogen levels dip it is more difficult to build connections between brain cells, and to store and recall memories. How to fight back: The good news is that, in most cases, it’s a phase which will have passed a year after your last period, according to neuro-psychiatrist Miriam Weber. During this time, women have to face up to the fact that they need to do more to make sure information sinks in. She says: “You shouldn’t expect to be able to remember everything after hearing it just once. Repeat it out loud, or say it back to the person to confirm it—it will help you hold on to that information far longer.” A study at Durham University also found that hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can rejuvenate the brain. The research found it took years off a woman’s mental age because HRT helped the left and right sides of the brain to work better together.” You crave sugary treats: There’s a reason that cup-cakes and deserts look more tempting than they used to. Studies have found, women develop a sweeter tooth as they go through the menopause. A sludy at Turkey’s Ankara University found that 35 per cent of women said their palate was not as sensitive during the change of life, and that they craved stronger, sweeter tastes. At the same time, as levels of the oestrogen and the other female sex hormone, progesterone drop, women become more prone to insulin resistance—where the body’s cells don’t respond as well to insulin, making sugar cravings soar. How to fight back: To beat your sweet tooth, eat smaller, more regular meals containing lean proteins, which absorbed more slowly into the blood stream. As our sensitivity to sugar drops—and we may not taste the sweetness—it’s more important than ever to read food label |

By Bartholomew Madukwe An Ejigbo Magistrate’s court in Lagos has remanded a 44-year-old man, Oluokun Olarewaju, in prison for allegedly slapping his wife’s friend, Miss Christiana Duntoye, who told his wife that she saw him with another woman. According to the charge, the incident happened at 84, Rasaki Tijani Street, Ikotun, where Olarewaju resides with his family, while his wife’s friend (Duntoye) resides at 75 of same street. It was gathered that peace fled Olarewaju’s family when the gossip started. Olarewaju’s wife confronted him and accused him of engaging in extra-marital affairs and for suddenly changing his attitude at home. After much pressure as to the source of the information, Olanrewaju’s wife allegedly told him that her friend, Duntoye, told her. During one of their now constant quarrels, Duntoye came visiting and was confronted by the accused, who allegedly slapped her and asked her to leave his house since she tried to break up his marriage. When the charge was read to the accused before Magistrate A. A. Fashola, he pleaded not guilty. The magistrate granted the accused N50,000 bail, with one surety in like sum, but he was remanded in Kirikiri Prison pending perfection of his bail conditions. source:.http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/man-in-prison-for-slapping-wifes-friend/ |
ADO-EKITI—Governor Ayodele Fayose yesterday apologised to primary school teachers in the state over the mix-up in the payment of their last month’s salary. According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Idowu Adelusi, the governor said; “Even though the mix-up was from the State Accountant General’s office but as the state governor, he takes responsibility. “I want to apologise for the inconsistency and problems encountered in crediting the accounts of some primary school teachers, it was after my broadcast few days back that I got a lot of text messages from some teachers that were affected. “I sincerely want to apologise, I have gotten to the root of the matter, I have found out that there were mix-ups here and there, the accounts were credited and later withdrawn for carelessness in the accountant general’s office, for whatever it is I take responsibility, I apologise and want to assure you all the lapses will be corrected. “My teachers at the primary school level, this money will be credited to your accounts between now and Wednesday unfailingly. My apologies.” Source http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/fayose-apologises-to-teachers-for-underpayment/ |

By Adeboye Amosu: Vincent Enyeama returned to the Super Eagles camp in Brussels, Belgium on Saturday to meet with President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick and Vice-Presidents, Seyi Akinwunmi and Shehu Dikko. The Lille star left the camp on Thursday to return to his base in Lille, France following a major falling out with head coach of the side, Sunday Oliseh. He also announced his retirement from international football due to the ugly row with Oliseh. There was no mention of Oliseh being part of the meeting. Enyeama, 33, has won 101 caps for Nigeria since hos debut in 2002. |
