ericsmith:Hundreds of armed youths set ablaze a building along Bello Way, where Igbo traders have shops. Shops were vandalized and burned by the irate youth presumably acting in counter terror for tales and videos of pro-Biafrans attacking northerners in Nigeria’s East and South South. President-General of Igbo Community in Sokoto State, Charles Uwaga, confirmed the attack. Igbo cars were also burned in the attacks in the capital. The police has been sent to restore order. Nigeria is on a boiling kettle since president Muhammadu Buhari sent the Nigerian army to attack and arrest pro-Biafran separatist Nnamdi Kanu Why can't your buhari deploy armies to stop the crisis? |
ZombieTAMER:I swear,they will never . |

solid3:President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the arrest of the perpetrators of the ethnic reprisal killings in Nigeria's Plateau State. The order follows the police confirmation that at least 19 people lost their lives in the attacks on Friday night on Ancha Village in Bassa Local Government Area. Police said most of the victims were women and children. The decades of clashes between Fulani settlers and indigenous Barom people, had almost been resolved before the latest attacks. Disruption of peace President Buhari expressed disappointment at the disruption of peace, tasking stakeholders not to allow the violent incident to destroy the progress made so far. "It is unlawful for anyone or group to take the law into their hands in the name of revenge or reprisals, rather than follow due process by allowing law enforcement agencies to fish out any such aggressors, who will be made to face justice," he said. "The various communities in the state have taken many steps, with the support of security agencies and mediators to pull the state back from the brink of anarchy and senseless killings warranted by attacks and counterattacks." What can you grab from that statement? He asked police for d arrest of those responsible, fine. why did he send thousands of heavily armed armies to slaughter ipob members ? Have you had from the news IPob member(s )killed anyone during their normal peaceful protests? |

"The various communities in the state have taken many steps, with the support of security agencies and mediators to pull the state back from the brink of anarchy and senseless killings warranted by attacks and counterattacks." President Buhari urged all Nigerians to embrace peace and emphasised the determination of the Federal Government to protect the lives and property of all citizens. Reported missing The Plateau State police commissioner, Mr Peter Ogunyanwo, said that preliminary investigations had indicated that the attack was carried out by unidentified gunmen. "We are investigating the matter, but from our findings so far, the attack was carried out by the Fulani to avenge the killing of a young boy," he said. "We have been told that a boy resident in the village was reported missing on August 3. We are told that his body was later found without the head." The attack came three days after the body of the missing Fulani boy was found. The Commissioner said five suspects had been arrested over the missing Fulani boy, but that no arrest had been made in respect of the Friday's attack. What can you grab from that statement? THAT EQYPTIAN DISEASE CALLED IGNORANCE WILL CONTINUE TO KILL OUR LEADERS IN THIS COUNTRY UNTIL THEIR GONE. JUST READ... First Republic Politician, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi, has reacted to the marching order given to Service Chiefs by President Muhammadu Buhari, to crush Biafra agitators. The former Aviation Minister, said the order was superficial and biased, as it focuses on the utterances and activities of the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, but remains mute to those of other ethnic groups that clearly violated Nigerian laws. He spoke to Sun, saying: “If I wake up and say I would go and blow up Aso Rock, would I be arrested, or when I march to Aso Rock fully armed? “Why the focus on Nnamdi Kanu; what of the other Arewa youths who are committing similar or more grievous offences? What has been done to them? “If Kanu breaks the law, let him be punished, not when he is unarmed and just making statement that his people are not being treated fairly. “What Kanu is saying is that Igbos want to go, if you don’t agree with him, put it to plebiscite. That is how it has been done in other places. “Scotland said it wanted to leave United Kingdom, and they put it to plebiscite, majority said they didn’t want to go away. “I don’t see why it should be different in Nigeria. Plebiscite does not amount to war. “In America, since Donald Trump came to power, two States have expressed the desire to quit US, has anybody killed them? “The only thing is that when the demand becomes serious, the government will give the opportunity for the people to decide. “What has been done to the Arewa youths who said their Leaders were the ones who asked them to issue the quit notice? “Yes, we know who is sending them to do what they are doing, the Politicians are behind them, and we are not deceived. “What of those behind the anti-Igbo songs, what has the government done to them? What efforts have the security agencies made to bring them to book?” |
