The only person to keep faith with him was a child who naturally isn't mature enough to fully understand the consequences of enlisting her men in a war they couldn't win.


This bit is particularly crucial because they all knew that this guy didn't have the men, the parentage or the acumen to take on the warden of thr north(by royal decree no less)

So what happened?

They fought, Jon lost, and was rescued by forces who he had neither summoned, nor had under control.

Does it sound logical that when he was shouting 'we fought, we won etc', that not a single person there would point out that he actually had to be rescued from his folly?

So Baelish just sat down there and let Jon share the credit, especially when littlefinger didn't even come to the battle for Jon?

my point has been simple, Jon has been making some pretty bad decisions, and his only backer up until ep 10 was a child....so why has no one called them out on this?

I doubt it was a decision he made on the spot. He would have discussed it with his fellow commanders or whatever they are called before carrying it out.

I highly doubt that, Ramsay is a mad dog his father said so himself. He rules by cowering you to be fearful of him no one will question his command.

In the context of the series, Ramsay is good @ what he does probably the best. But in really being a good battle commander and tactician it's a fail for me, going into a battle where you outnumber your opponents almost 3 to 1 and you end up killing more of your men than the said opponents is just sadistic. Even without wun wun, winterfell, Would still be breached because ramsay just didn't have the numbers to protect the castle against a siege. He played all his cards once and he paid dearly for it.

Why I will not call Ramsay a tactician is simple, of all the battles he fought he always had the clear advantage, the odds will favor 6thousand men over 2 thousand plus any time any day. Ramsay had the clear advantage and yet he slaughtered almost half of his men to get to Jons 2thousand plus. That's not good tactics.

They are not mutually exclusive. You can be a tactician and still be a sadist. Didn't you see how he made Jon do exactly what he wanted? He is a good tactician.

Remember how he won the war against Stannis before it even began? How he used reek to gain his father's trust?

There was nobody in the Nights watch fighting for Jon,the watch is basically depleted. There were few other houses that supported their cause aside from the Mormonts. When Jon left the wall he left with the wildlings only. The nights watch don't interfere in the affairs of the 7 kingdoms and Jon wasn't the Lord commander anymore.

If we critically analyze every move in the. Series then there is really no point in watching any of it.
