About the wight capturing, I repeat, the plot was absolutely stupid.
Firstly, the terrible plan ironically came from Tyrion, the renowned brainiac. Jon agreeing to it was stupid as well as he's had first hand experience with them and the ww and knows the grave dangers with the plan.
The timeline between the time they were trapped and when Dany came to save them was glaringly unrealistic.
Jon snow bending the knee to Dany in front of Cersie was just laughable(spare me the integrity bullcrap cuz he had deceived both ygritte and mance rayder before)
All the pitfalls in this plan made no sense and appeared forced, especially as it was meant to be the crucial part of the season.
Finally, if you want a series with near perfection, go and see Breaking bad.

Jon snow deceived the wildlings, cos he was following orders, simple as that.

Okay, so having watched episode 7 several times, i noticed some few loop holes that needs to be registered . Unlike episode 6, this episode have few loop holes. And before some people come here to remind us that it is a fantasy tv show, yes it is but it doesn't mean we shouldn't ask logical questions when we notice some absurdities.

Also note that GOT is one of the best if not the best TV series ATM. So here we go

1. The miraculous appearance of the Unsullied soldiers:

We all thought these guys were dead in episode 2 and nothing was said about them again but all of a sudden they re-appear all hail and hearty for another battle. How come? What happened to them all these while? Didnt they starve to death at Casterly Rock? How on earth did they get back on time to kings landing?I believe this is something they should have showed us on camera. This is a major loop hole in this episode and making it the entrance of the episode is really provocative to logical minds.

2. The hound carries a fire lit lamp:

Erm, i thought the hound was afraid of any thing fire so how come he could carry a lamp of fire without the fear of being burnt? The dude has been literally avoided anything fire but today is the first time i am seeing him carrying fire. I might be wrong though.

3. The mountain's eyes were looking all blurred so he shouldn't be able to see properly. From the close up view we saw the mountain have these red cataract eyes, so on a normal day he shouldn't be able to see properly, but here he is seeing perfectly. He knows when to move, who to attack and so on. I am really surprised that he can see properly.

4. Rheagar looking like viserys in a wig:

So many rheagar fans were expecting to see a handsome, gorgeous looking dude with sexy abs like CRonaldo's own but they end up with a guy that looks like viserys ( dany's dead brother) in a wig. How terrible is that?

5. The all seeing bran goofs big time: With the way bran has been forming to be all seeing and sees everything, one would expect bran to give detailed information about a past event. However, like yonce pointed out , bran claims to see everything rather in a terrible way. In his words "I see the past. I even see what's happening right now"

But he didn't see Rhaegar and Lyanna tying the knot till Samwell mentioned it. Funny isnt it?

Okay, how about Bran; "I am the three eyed raven, I know everything"

Yet he assumed that Jon was a Sand and not a Targaryen.

Bran is definately the worst 3 eyed raven ever. He cant see properly or give detailed information about what happened in the past unless the person is having sexx or being rapped.

The goofs were just too much for someone who can see everything.

nobody thought the unsullied were dead just you. they were trapped from the sea and they couldn't hold the castle because there was no food there so they had to march down to kingslanding. the mountain still has all his senses, just the power of speech. go back and listen to qyburns conversation wioth cesri and jamie lannister when he showed them Lords Varys spies., Bran can see the past if he chooses to go back to that particular place, he has not checked everybodys past inthe whole of seven kingdoms. there were no goofs at all here for someone who has a great understanding of the show.

1. Theron greyjoy finally grew balls!

2. Cerceis plan is callous and yet genius... Let the living and dead go to war while she prepares for the war weary or battered leftovers.

3. Dynereys should heed greyjoys advice and sit the war out In dragon stone. Cersei would kneel to beg her for help...

4. John... Sorry AegonII finally KNOWS SOMETHING... Ygrette would have been proud.

If the dead wins they won't be weary or battered, they will swell by more than a million, Cersi surely can't stand that

When Jaime Lannister convinced Edmure to give up Riverrun and Edmure approached the drawbridge. He identified himself as the rightful Lord of Riverrun and for formality, he was recognised and allowed entry and his order was followed. Though the acting Lord of Riverrun, the Blackfish was against it, formality and tradition had to be respected, the castle gates were opened and the Lannisters and Freys took back Riverrun successfully. My point is, as a Knight or Lord, you have to obey your overlord when called upon. So let's all agree that the Knights of the Vale did wrong by not excorting LittleFinger back to the Vale as he ordered. I hope they are punished for treason in Season 8.

Lord Robin is lord of the vale, and if you where Lord Roynce(commander of the vale army) and you just learnt little finger killed your Lady liysa aarryn would you have obeyd that order?

IIRC, the ships weren't docked at the harbour, the Night's watch had to use boats to ferry the Free Folk to the ships.

Also your answer suggests the Night King knew that Dany's dragons would come to the rescue.

Point is it could have taken 1 week to pull that dragon out, everything doesn't happen in a day

Perhaps one should also explain to you how they cook the food they eat in the show cos they don't show them cooking. If you understand that "Hardhome" where lots of ship was anchored, the knights watch came with ships remember? Anchors have chains and there you go.

you really want them to show you how they went in search of chains really? perhaps you can also ask how come arya stark has clean and fresh clothes when she just came back to winterfell. have you thought about the possibility that some wights could be ordered on a suicide mission just to chain the dragon. i understand plotholes but i cant take winging from people that i can swear dont really understand the series

Nobody is saying that there are no plotholes.This episode had a lot of things that did not make sense. I, myself continue to try and make explanations for it but most things are unexplainably.
But you've got to look it from their side.The show runners were never the best writers in the business. At the beginning they were not brought to write the story but to adapt it.They never knew that the show will come to pass the books.Its been 6 years since a book so the show runners have to get it to the end themselves.
We just have to be less critical of the show at this point.A lot of the things that happened in the episode can be explained if you look at it closely ( the uncle benjen death was very frustrating)
I personally think season 7 is one of the best seasons of the show if you are not watching just to point out plotholes, it is much better than season 5.Is it the most flawed,maybe and that why we come here to try and get some explanation. No matter how the writing gets bad Game of thrones will still be an exceptional piece of television.

It pains me when I hear, people complaining about flaws and other stuff, this series is the most expensive ever made, and people are here winging about it. They won't see flaws in straight up stories like 24, prison break etal, even a shitty show like merlin. Not everybody fully understands game of thrones, but it's the craze of the moment, that's why a whole lot of people are yammering nonsense

Jon needed one white walker and all of a sudden all the other walkers around dies except one, can't you see the fake set up for Jon to get one? If the wight wasnt turned by that general, what was it doing in their mist in the first place? As for uncle benjen serving the 3 eyed raven, that doesn't explain how only him survived in the blistering storm when most people died.. ..or does the 3 eyed raven given supernatural life? He even rode on a horse, how did he even feed the horse in an icy desert land for days/weeks/months? There are several questions begging to be answered.

Benjen is half human now, thats why he cant cross the wall, people do survive the winter beyond the wall, if you take pains to watch and listen you will hear stories of NIGHTSWATCH men that survived the winter beyond the wall.

Okay, so i watched the episode several times and i came up with Big flops in episode 6 that i noticed so far

Here we go;

1. When Jon killed one of the general during the fight at the mountain, we saw that all the other walkers die immediately except one? How come? Why didnt he just die like the rest? Or is it just a poor plot to hand jon a walker? what was a small army of walkers doing there away from the rest in the first place?

2. Why exactly did dany carry 3 dragons to save Jon and his men when she took only 1 to war? If drogon was the only dragon she took, perharps we wont be mourning a dead dragon.

3. Gendry running back to winterfell on foot within a short time shows that he is either faster than usian bolt or better still the flash or this is just clear bullsh*t. How come he ran so fast within that short period? was the distance not so far off?

4. Why was the hound actually stoning the walkers? What was his aim or intentions? Did he intend to kill them with a rock or what?

5. For the NK to be able to throw the spear that high and far to hit vaeserion is just amazing.....definitely his hands and throw must be stronger than the big arrow bow bronn used against drogon dont you think?

6. Uncle benjen's sudden appearance out of nowhere. Am still wondering where the heck did uncle benjen come out from? Where has he been all these while? Comm'on lets be realistic here.....Uncle benjen came from the exact same direction the white walkers came...How on earth did he survive out there in all those snow and no food? Where did he stay all these while and how did he know jon was in trouble....This is one of the biggest flop of this episodes..So many loop holes attached to uncle benjen's miraculous appearance.

7. Tormund survives despite the walkers were all on top of him but the other guy who nobody knows dies within an instant when the walkers were on top him....

8. The biggest floop of this episode was when the white walkers magically brought about 4-5 huge chains that are several miles long out of nowhere....Haba? What does the producers take us for biko? The annoying thing was that the dead walkers were able to pull out a huge dragon without any of them breaking while pulling the dragon out. this is the biggest flop of the episode...I was highly pissed when i saw this part.

But overall the show was good but the producers should take it easy with the hog wash they are feeding us with...we aint dumb like sansa.

Gendry ran back to eastwatch. When you understand that uncle Benjen serves the 3. Eyed raven, then him appearing makes sense. Can't reply to all your other lines, but go and watch it again. Infact start from season 6. Also perhaps the white walker that jon killed did not turn the wight that was captured.
