Dear meninmen, firstly, i must commend your high sense of constructive argument by seeking resolution, compromise and certitude.
As we all know, there are so many things going on in the Presidential villa that we don't know, all we hear are rumours and speculations without firm evidence, and that's where journalism comes in, to dig deep and report accurate information without skewing facts that can put the four corners of the nation into logger-heads with each other like Farooq has been doing lately with his articles. Yes, there might be some elements of truth in his article, but, as a journalist where are the attached proofs to prove his professionalism to the Nigerian populace that all he wrote about the president and his late chief of staff are notting but the truth. Look at what we've come to. It's no new news that 99.9 percent of the Nigerian political leaders are the most inresponsible leaders in the world.
According to one Twitter user, they act like drunk kids playing in the rain. There is a news that broked out today and its been shared on social media and alredy holding long debates in television and radio houses, the headlines goes like this. "THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT WON'T EXTEND PALLIATIVES TO THOSE WITH MORE THAN FIVE THOUSAND NAIRA IN THEIR BANK ACCOUNTS"... Which means that people with over N5, 000 in their bank account will not benefit from the palliatives to cushion the effect of the lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. What a shame of a country. It's like saying that palliatives won't be extended to anyone that have 10 euros/dollars in their bank accounts in Europe /US during this pandemic lockdown. Trust the westerners, they will all unite and burn the entire nation down to ashes in 24 hours, no sh*t given , no sh*t taken , they are always ready to die for their rights.
Meanwhile, am still trying to figure out why a third world country with so much inresponsible leaders like Nigeria should be on a lockdown during this coronavirus pandemic crisis, i don't get it, cause, Last time i checked, its countries with responsible leaders that have the financial, intellectual and moral capacities to fend for their citizens that are suppose to go on a lockdown during crisis. Not a country like Nigeria that have been bastardized by rogues and heartless entities that we call leaders.


Nigeria as a country doesn't have the capability, nor the ethnicities, nor the morality to withstand a nationwide lockdown, except they want to turn the average Nigerian populace to ZOMBIES, in this case, enforcing the use of protective face masks and massive testing would have been a better option.

The bitter truth is that, there is absolutely no way on earth the Nigerian government will be able to contain the novel coronavirus due to lack of preparedness except Nigeria as a country want to be on a lockdown for ever.

There's a saying that, is only God that kill flies for the cow that got no tail. "Nigeria is a country without a tail", and so therefore cannot kill the flies sorrounding her. Is only God as usual that's is going to help Nigeria as a country with vision-less leaders kill it's flies and get rid of this pleague (coronavirus) that has turned the whole world UP-SIDE-DOWN.

My opinion is this! The lockdown in Nigeria should be lift,because, the Nigeria economy cannot and can never Stand a continuous lockdown as the ultimate measure to curb the raging coronavirus.

Another bitter truth is that, a lot of the Nigerian populace have alredy been infected with the novel virus, but the good news is, 99.8 percent of the alredy infected people are asymtomatic with mild symtoms that normally goes away After 14 days of being infected.

This shows that, once again, God have killed the flies for the cow without a tail, thus! there is no need for a lockdown, all that the Nigerian citizens need to do is, wear protective face masks, keep social distancing, wash their hands regularly with soap and water and go about their normal daily LIVES. God and the universe will continue to kill flies for them until the day their eyes will be fully open to know and understand what it means to either live as a human or die like a Hero.
