Arabiandude: You have 1k in your house, if someone comes and steal #500 from it, will you allow the person to runaway because you have #500 left, or you would lock you door and Chase the person so that another won't come and steal the other #500? That's what this government has been doing, lock down CBN through BVN, Whistle Blower Policy and others why they Chase the former thieves. I won't lock shop and chase, I'll alert the security agencies I PAY to do the chase for me its their work |

Arabiandude: Yeah, it's an economic policy, and Osibanjo went on to state that if corruption isn't fought, there would be less money for the government to perform because the monies to perform would be in the pulse of few individuals. There is a huge correlation between developed economy and less corruption. Thats why most of the developed countries are less corrupt Dear Sir, fighting corruption is good but closing shop because of it |

Arabiandude: This reply of yours has shown that you are not different from Obi, always deviating from questions asked. I asked if there was ever a time Nigeria was economically developed more than China and you are busy copying and pasting episode. sorry, there was never a time. |

Arabiandude: Which China started from nothing? was there ever a time Nigeria was more developed than China? please always do your research.. The Chinese economy stagnated, beginning in the 16th century and even declined in absolute terms in the nineteenth and much of the twentieth century, with a brief recovery in the 1930s. The Communist Party authorities began economic reforms introducing market principles in 1978 and carried them out in two stages. The first stage, in the late 1970s and early 1980s, involved the de collectivization of agriculture , the opening up of the country to foreign investment, and permission for entrepreneurs to start businesses . However, most industry remained state-owned. The second stage of reform, in the late 1980s and 1990s, involved the privatization and contracting out of much state-owned industry and the lifting of price controls, protectionist policies, and regulations, although state monopolies in sectors such as banking and petroleum remained. The private sector grew remarkably, accounting for as much as 70 percent of China's gross domestic product by 2005 |

Nairaland General › Open Letter To ICT Hub by kerah(op): 10:19am On Nov 28, 2018 |
Dear ICT hub, Everymorning i wake up i open nairaland to keep abreast of whats happening in the country, during the day time i do this intermittently too as my schedule of the day permits me. Nairaland is a place which has rules and regulations so as to enable its users have a good experience. Spamming most threads with your business advert is not the best way to go about building a reputation for yourself, nairaland is someone's business too and you're spoiling his business to benefit yours. There are threads i enter and whilst following the thread i see one of your big ass adverts and 'bam' all my interest in that thread is lost and i quickly close it, if i open three to four more threads and i see the same thing i would just close nairaland and surf other sites. I bet i might not be the only way who feels this way. On several occasions i have reported your illegal adverts in threads which i particularly enjoy and believe your adverts to constitute a nuisance to but yet they keep springing up with different users making the comment. You think you are one smart ass to make use of someones brain to make money without going through the right means forgetting that you also have a business and you have guidelines as to make your business successful. Please I beg you stop spamming threads with your adverts as they are unsightly, pay and advertise at the right place if people want to click they click if not they skip. Yours annoyingly, kerah
Ps* let me also use this medium to also beg that guy that sells mb and airtime, stop posting your big ass adverts in the middle of sweet threads, please! cc: seun, lalasticlala, mynd44 |

SyberKate: Hi
So I decided to go into a long distance relationship with this guy I have not met yet. We just met online and have exchanged pictures.
So far the relationship is just one week old and I was in a bit of a situation where I needed some money. Nothing much just about 15,000 to solve an issue.
So I asked my BF if he could assist me with the money, only for him to start saying things like the relationship is still young for me to be making demands, that what if he starts demanding for s3xx this early in the relationship.
I said I wish I could have solved my problem myself but I really need all the help I can get. He still insisted that he hasn't even met me physically and I could be trying to swindle him for all he knows.
Then I said if he feels that way then no need to continue with the relationship and it was over, just like that within one week.
So do you think I was being unreasonable to make demands this early in the relationship. That was too forward, the guy acted like a well thinking Nigerian |
