Pls lesgupnigeria continue your good work you are one of the few people that inspire me to join agric and so far all your post have been a guiding factor because it serves as a template for me to know what to do,when and where to do them and what prices to buy them if not l would have been cheated .

My man take it easy now may be 50naira was the price when he posted it. Even at that he is not far from the price it depend on on your pricing ability l bought recently from IITA Ibadan the price is just a fraction higher and digging and planting depends on the location of your farm,availability of labourers and your bargaining ability. I am currently digging and planting about 3,400suckers at 15naira each.

Fellow nairalander l planned to be in Agyeraku market yesterday but couldn't make it but my PA and my friend went to the market and they bought 32bags of size 32 for 23k to 24k for each bag and store it for 300naira each for as long as we want and have a written agreement with the storekeeper. The price keep going up.

Pls how much can you manage plantain farm of about 3,500 suckers planted on 4acres throughout the year note you to start managing immediately after planting,do all the needful and also look for buyer.

Pls my major challenge is how to market these plantain before harvest because there is need to identify the target market and negotiate few months before as they are perishable crops
