Hello
I was looking through lease form for renting an off campus housing and I noticed a line for guarantors name and address. As an international student, can one put the Name and address of family in Nigeria to serve the purpose. Thanks.

Hello All,

Approval Alert.

Applied sometime in March 2018, myself and parents. Was rejected in May. I came across this forum after my application and after seeing the application documents been submitted by various applicants, it was safe to say although grudgingly that the rejection was deserved.
After going through the thread, I updated my SOP with personal goals and aspirations as opposed to being generic in my previous application.

He asked for additional documents to include with the previous submitted docs.
I submitted:
All IMM forms
Sponsor's SOA
Letter of Acceptance
Statement of Purpose
Offer Letter from my work place.
NYSC Certificate

He asked for:
Payslips
CAC Document
Sponsor's Letter
Visa from US
WAEC Certificate
Introduction Letter and Study Leave from my work place
PPA offer letter during Service.

Submitted June 5th
Biometrics June 12 and 13
Medical request November 15
Medicals done on the November 22
Passport request January 10
Dropped passport January 11
Picked up passport January 18.

I (We) prayed and believed God and God did it.
I deferred my admission to Fall 2019 so I have some time to keep on working, wait and prepare.
Also thanks to all those active members cos I'm a silent one that keep on sharing their knowledge of the process on this forum. God bless you all and all TRV hopefuls will not be disappointed cos God answers prayers.

Hello House,

Thank you for all the useful tips and comments on this thread. I will like to know how I can go about this. I am one of those silent June applicants and deferred my admission to September this year. Thank God, I was given a passport request but the problem is my passport is expiring Nov 2019 that is one month after stepping into Canada and one of the passport requirements is that they do not issue a visa beyond the expiry date of the passport. What do I do? Thanks.

Hello,
Please can I apply for a PGD with a third class degree and will it accept my chances of getting a visa if admitted?

Thanks.

Hello House,
I want to know if a graduate with third-class can apply for a PGD in Canada and the chances of scaling through the visa process with the result?
Thanks.

Hello House,
Is anyone going to Conestoga this September and still awaiting TRV. Have you written to the school? What was their response?

Hello, any Conestoga admitted student awaiting TRV here? Just want to know, have you contacted the school on your delay in resumption due to delay in getting TRV? What was the response? Thanks.

jnyuwa02:

If you obtained your GCMS notes and have a totality of circumstances understanding behind the reason for your refusal, you may apply at any time as stated in the refusal letter-if you feel you can overcome previous reason for refusal. Tis the ripe time to reapply for fall. It won’t be considered desperation. Best!

Thanks. Also, it is a PGD program I'm going in for but I plan to do masters after completing the PGD. Do I need to explain all this in my SOP and secondly, do I project finances towards the masters too cos I only explained a breakdown for the PGD program?

Hello,
I applied for my TRV in April and was rejected In May. I want to reapplying this May because school starts in September, but I was advised to defer so I don't come across as desperate.
Please House what do you advise?
