They're on punishment. If you've ever lived in the army barracks you'll know what I'm talking about. When soldiers commits an offense, they're locked up in a guard room for some weeks or months depending on the gravity of the offense. Sometimes they'll bring them out of the guardroom and given some chores by senior officers as punishment. The chores varies, it could be sweeping, washing officers cars, mowing lawns, cutting grass after which they'll return to the guardroom. I saw these things while living in the army barracks. Forget about the banner you see there, there's no way officers will come out for sanitation when there're able bodied offenders in the guardroom. NO WAY

the excersice was not carried out inside the barracks but within yenagoa metropolis. Don't say what you don't know

Recruits in the navy...........ratings.

Commissioned Officers in the armed forces (navy, army and airforce) are simply called officers.

Marriage, I don't know but what I think is not allowed is between officers and recruits, my thought tho.

recruits are applicants that are still undergoing training, but ones they pass out, they become soldiers, airmen/women, and seamen. Use your head

100% of the military activities has been internal and 0% external, what does that tell you about it. (forget the crap about peace keeping in war torn west African countries that the military has been engaged in)
American military engagement has been 100% external and 0 % internal.

Only very cosmetic countries that are unstable are held together by militaries. Some countries don't even have militaries while others just keep a military without engagements. 100% of the people killed by Nigerian military are Nigerians out of that the majority of the people killed are innocent, unarmed women and children
If Nigeria is existing because it has a military that means Nigeria's problem is internal. Other militaries protect the territorial integrity of the country while the Nigerian military is encumbered with internal issues.

I have friends and relatives in the military and have nothing against them and their chosen career.
