You can only access the account by submitting a letter of administration issued by the High Court of the state. The Letter of administration can be processed at the Probate Registry and it is advisable you get a lawyer to help you with the process. If you are in Lagos I can assist you. |

It is a shame that some Nigerians who are badly informed about the workings of institutions will openly support a tyrant. Buhari is a tyrant. |
Properties › Due Diligence For Land Acquisition by Kevwelize(op): 4:56pm On Sep 17, 2016*. Modified: 12:28pm On Sep 19, 2016 |
Kevwelize: Proper due diligence is necessary before acquiring land in Nigeria where property laws and regulations are diverse and differ across various states. The nature of such diligence varies from transaction to transaction and also dependent on several factors. The purpose of all the legal due diligence is to have a clear picture as to the authenticity of the title to the land/property, usage restrictions and other restrictions. Land may be acquired from Government, Companies/Co-operative Societies /Other Artificial Persons and Individuals. The steps to be taken when acquiring land/property from any of the aforementioned entities varies from one to another. Government whether Federal or State can allocate land in line with the provisions of the Land Use Act 1978. The due diligence to be conducted in this case includes ascertaining whether the land is vested in the government, obtaining any instrument by which such land is vested, whether the process of vesting has gone through any litigation, etc. Due diligence steps in the case of land belonging to corporate entities and individuals includes, ascertaining how the company or individual acquired the land whether it was directly allocated or purchased from an individual or company, charting the survey plans to determine whether it is free from acquisition, verifying the authenticity of title documents, etc. Before acquiring land/property especially in big cities like Lagos there is a need to engage a real estate lawyer to conduct due diligence so as to prevent the acquisition of land/property with no title and ending up buying same property several times. It is even worse in cases where the land is under government's acquisition and committed. Politics › Re: APC Open To All Nigerians Interested In Development, Says Oyegun by Kevwelize: 11:52am On Sep 12, 2016 |
APC has no moral standing to talk about development. I challenge the Buhari government to name one achievement since coming into power. A government that cannot fulfill even the smallest of its campaign promises and now tell Nigerians to be the change they want to see. |

A country in recession where government at all levels finds it difficult to pay salaries let alone meet other important financial obligations still encourages waste. An Apc government that has always condemned previous administrations for waste now becomes the chief of waste in this era of scarce resources. With this government there's certainly no hope for economic turn around. |

Dele Momodu has said it all. We can't be suffering and someone is pushing the bulk to Nigerians. PMB and APC are failures. |

flokii: It's not about Buhari.. It's about everyone. We knw almost everybody in d country is corrupt, but dnt shield or stage protest when pple are being questioned or asked to give account.. We can start from there and get somewhere.. cheers! While I don't support corrupt activities government must as a matter of priority address the fundamental issues of governance and not channel all its energy into fighting corruption while leaving the economy in disarray. As it stands today, people are no longer interested in the issue of corruption because of the severity of the hunger in the land. So in providing good leadership the leader must give all aspect of governance serious attention if he really wants to leave indelible marks in the heart of the people. That is the way to go because the tenure is just four years. |

flokii: That's what several years of bad leadership has turned us into.. Yet some 'bad pple' see no wrong in d corruption affecting our development as a nation. Hopefully we'll get it right soon But nothing tangible and reasonable is being done to address the issues. The so-called fight against corruption is just noise making because the investigations are shoddy and the charge sheets are poorly drafted. Buhari cannot fight corruption because he is a product of corruption. He doesn't care about the sufferings in the land. |

With all these incidents some people will still come out to say Nigeria is secure under PMB. APC government of failures with no tangible positive achievement. |

We are in a country where human lives matters no more. A country where crude means are still being used in the training of security personnel all in the name of trying to make them tough. A country where employers both govt and private entrepreneurs believe that the difficult way is always the best as against the easier and less difficult way. Nobody will investigate this death because the young man is not from any 'royal' family. |
Politics › Re: Operation Crocodile Smile Has Halted Pipelines Bombings by Kevwelize: 10:43am On Sep 10, 2016 |
ALMUSTAQIM: I OBSERVED THAT FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS NOW, THERE HAVE BEEN NO NEW CASES OF PIPELINES BOMBINGS BY THE CRIMINAL AVENGEROUS MILITANTS
THIS SHOWS THE OPERATION CROCODILE SMILE IS YIELDING POSITIVE RESULTS ALREADY
KUDOS TO THE NIGERIAN ARMY
KUDOS TO PMB
KUDOS TO APC Before the launch of Operation Crocodile Smile, the militants have heeded the call by the elders and leaders of the region to cease further hostilities to give room for dialogue. But the government responded by massive deployment of the Armed Forces instead of commencing dialogue. When the destruction resumes those hailing President Buhari and his crew should be ready to accept the result of their insensitivity. |
