It seems most fuel stations are guilty of under dispensing. The attendants do it wit tacit support of the station manager. Corruption in Nigeria has not limit. SMH. |

Why don't you start by posting the pictures of the cars here? I am quite interested. Placing a price tag wouldn't be a bad idea either! |
Gen Mohammadu Buhari is not there. Isn't he a former head of state? |
i remember going for an interview in a popular company (don't wanna mention the name here) A panel of 4 interviewers made up of 3 men and a middle aged woman. Everything seem to be going on well until i was asked to name the deputy Governor of Yobe State. I just laughed and said i didn't know it. And in my mind i was like if you wanna offer me this job please do and if u won't just bleeep the hell off but don't go about asking questions even you the 'asker' do not know! Looking back in retrospect, I thank God that those experiences made me the better person that I am today! |
\When exactly did this happen? That area is a Hausa/Muslim dominated area I just left there like 30 minutes ago. Everywhere appeared quiet and calm. Oh God, please save us from untimely end. |
At last, the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will meet January 8 to decide the fate of the National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. Also, meetings of the National Caucus of the party and the Board of Trustees (BoT) have been scheduled to take place on January 6 and 7 respectively as precursors to the NEC meeting. The NEC meeting, THISDAY was informed by a party source, would have a number of items on the agenda, but the most critical of them is the crisis rocking the party and how to resolve it so as to move the party forward. The PDP governors have variously accused the embattled national chairman of highhandedness and running the PDP as a personal estate, and have pushed for his ouster as prerequisite for peace. “The NEC meeting will decide the fate of Bamanga Tukur and other crises affecting the party, especially the discord that led to the defection of five PDP governors and 37 members of the House of Representatives to the All Progressives Congress (APC). “The meeting is further expected to discuss the grievances of 22 members of the senate who are threatening to defect to the APC. The meeting is seen as crucial because PDP used to have 28 governors before the 2011 general election, the number was reduced to 23 governors after the election, but with the defection of the five governors, PDP has 18 governors and there are two other governors that are sitting on the sidelines. “We have a crisis in our hands because out of the present 18 governors of the party, only four governors – those of Gombe, Kaduna, Kogi and Bayelsa – are first term governors and will be seeking a second term in office. The rest are governors that are completing their second terms. “So the earlier the party starts addressing its problems, the better it would be for the PDP,” the source explained. He said the leader of the party, President Goodluck Jonathan, would prefer that it is not the governors of the party who should decide Tukur’s fate, adding, “As such, these NEC, Board of Trustees and the National Caucus meetings are crucial because the elders of the party will decide whether Tukur is the problem or there is something else that is wrong with the party.” THISDAY further learnt that the president may use the occasion of the various meetings to give some insight as to whether he would be seeking re-election or not. Also, the NEC meeting is expected to discuss the draft guidelines for the PDP primaries, preparatory to the 2015 general election. The source explained that the meeting would also discuss the position of the PDP governors that the suspension of the Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi, who has defected to APC, be lifted, while the party structures in Adamawa State be given back to the governor, Murtala Nyako, who has also defected to APC. The source said though the governors of Rivers and Adamawa have defected, if the critical stakeholders of the party agree, the principal organs could review their defection and use it to lure them back to PDP, saying, “After all, this is politics and there is no sworn enemy but common interests.” ThisDay Live |
payless: Your father is the head of Boko haram. mike404: HEHEHE mike404: BOKO BOY YOU NO DEY SLEEPLast time i checked, Topic was about APC PDP and TB JOSHUA. But these ones have turned it into a contest of verbal assaults. Worst of all, doing this on the first day of the year. Now I am convinced that not even a hundred new years can change the attitude of Nairalanders. SMH! |

A strategic move by GEJ to checkmate the military top brass and prevent a likely coup that might have been carried out on Jan 1st 2014 on the backdrop of the OBJ letter. Classified information from the SSS! |
whirlwind7: This report is about the most stupid and baseless article i've read this year. Who, or what is this "source" it kept referring to?Seconded. |
blog4all: http://blog4all-com..com/2013/12/2015-patience-jonathan-shouts-down.htmlAnd when has blogs become a source of credible news in Nigeria? |
wirinet: I agree with most of what is written about amaechi thought I support him in the Jonathan/Amaechi roforofo fight. The problem is that the Jonathan camp gravely mismanaged the situation. The mismanaged the governorship forum elections, they mismanaged the river's state assembly crisis, they even mismanaged the sacking of the local government chairman (cant remember the name now )Very good observation! |
Soyinka is being "spot on" as usual.. APC appears desperate with every passing day. If Gen Abacha were alive, he probably would have been approached also. This recent activity of APC must be condemned by all and sundry! Little wonder the likes of Oshiomole has been distancing himself from such charade. SMH for Nigeria's future! |

A good political strategist should have seen all these coming. Neither GEJ nor his advisers ever thought it could get this bad. SMH for GEJ |
erad: Hello guys,Moral standards. Largely because what is morally right can hardly be religiously, socially or lawfully wrong. infact, most religions draw up standards from morals. it also helps the child have a balanced view instead of eventually turning out to be a fanatical bigot. |
