Politics › Re: What Exactly Is The Plan For Biafra? by KGBKremlin: 8:36pm On Aug 01, 2023 |
tauri94: Before I begin, I would like to state that I am Igbo from Onitsha in Anambra State.
I don’t know if anyone has done this thread before, if someone has, do try to drop a link cause I want to hear people’s thoughts on the matter.
Also, opinions should not be limited to only the Biafra agitators, people from other tribes are welcome to drop comments but abeg try to keep it respectful 🙏🙏
Now what I am going to say on this matter is strictly my own thoughts on the subject and I do not which to offend or impose my beliefs on anyone.
WHAT I FEEL BIAFRA IS/WAS? Biafra is/was a secessionist state in southeastern Nigeria that existed from 1967 to 1970. The region sought independence due to ethnic and political tensions with the Nigerian government. The conflict, known as the Biafra War or Nigerian Civil War, resulted in a devastating humanitarian crisis, with widespread famine and international aid efforts. Nigeria eventually reasserted control, and Biafra was reintegrated into the country, ending the secessionist movement. The legacy of Biafra continues to influence Nigerian politics and society.
WHY HAS THE MOVEMENT CONTINUED LONG AFTER THE WAR ENDED IN 1970? One of the main reasons I feel the Biafra movement has continued is the persistence of ethnic and political grievances among some segments of the population in the southeastern region of Nigeria. I say segments because I do not believe that the whole Igbo community are in full support of what the movement has come to stand for and the groups that are within it.
Now, these political grievances as stated often center around issues of marginalization, economic disparities, and unequal distribution of resources. Additionally, the historical memory of the Biafra War and its devastating humanitarian consequences has left a lasting impact on the region's collective consciousness. Many people still feel a strong sense of identity and belonging to Biafra, viewing it as a symbol of resistance against perceived injustices.
Furthermore, the movement has been fueled by a desire for self-determination and calls for greater autonomy or even secession from Nigeria. Some groups and individuals believe that the interests of the southeastern region are not adequately represented within the Nigerian government, leading to renewed calls for Biafra's independence.
IS THE CAUSE JUST? Now again I would state that I do not wish to offend anyone.
The question of whether the Biafra movement’s cause is just is subjective and can vary depending on different perspectives and historical interpretations.
Yes I do believe it is justified if your argument is based on historical marginalization and war-crimes asserted on the Biafran people. Going by the recent Presidential elections and the Lagos State Gubernatorial elections where one of the candidates was partly of the Igbo tribe, I do believe that the region’s interests have not been adequately represented within the Nigerian state and that pursuing independence or greater autonomy could be necessary to addressing these grievances.
However, the political underrepresentation of the Igbo people at Federal level is not sufficient reason to justify separatist movements. I would argue that the absence of an Igbo president since the restoration of democracy in 1999 has significantly affected the development of the region on the basis that no region in Nigeria is developed and we can barely name any political representative from the South-East that has held power and hasn’t looted funds meant for the development of the states.
WHAT STATES ARE BIAFRA STATES? Gotten From Wikipedia: The territory of the Republic of Biafra is covered nowadays by the reorganised Nigerian states of Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Cross River, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Abia, Delta and southern Kogi and Benue states
What States are actively involved in the movement today? Judging by the states participating in the forced sit-at-home, I would say only the South-Eastern States, which includes: Anambra, Abia, Imo, Enugu and Ebonyi
WHAT IS THE PLAN? Nobody seem to know! No one, not even Nnamdi Kanu, Ralph Uwazuruike, Simon Ekpa or Benjamin Onwuka has laid out any survival plan.
The only plan I have heard is some South-South states would join the movement, we become rich from refining oil and we all live happily ever after. If these South-South states refuse to leave a country where they are already a marginalized minority to join another country where they would still be the “marginalized minority”, what then is the plan?
Note that the South East is in fact landlocked, and if you do not still believe it, simply go to Google Maps on your phone, look for blue markings indicating water bodies and decide for yourself how close the Atlantic Ocean is to any South Eastern state. Please do not say dredge rivers.
For a region that is solely reliant on importing goods for sales.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE PLAN? Illiterate inferiority complex those states you mentioned are doing your cursed sit at home in south south I think? South East is a land about to be desolate. |

We shouted, screamed but we were called many bad names. The people of the SS moved on immediately after the 2015 general election, even GEJ himself moved on but the SE continue fanning hatred and bitterness towards Nigeria.
FG did all their best to arrest Kanu thinking it will put an end to the barbaric killings in the region but today we are having Ekpa and if eventually the FG get rid of Simon Ekpa another person will come up again.
SE may not witness peace for the next 20 years again because the amount of arms in that region is enough to turn the region to mogadishu. A cursed and rejected about to be desolate |

franchasofficia: Let me explain what is happening in Southeast to all Nigerians and foreigners that wish to know.
The current sit at home enforcement order is being sponsored by APC government (Imo state Governor Hope Uzodinma is one of them, Bola Tinubu group have a hand in it), and then some criminal elements using the opportunity to carry out kidnapping for ransom have a hand in it also.
APC federal is involved through sponsoring Simon Ekpa, that is why they are not putting in any effort to arrest, indict or extradite him back to Nigeria like they did with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. These evil agents in APC working for the incumbent President through Asari Dokubo and co are doing this to destabilize Southeast and to demarket Peter Obi completely in the eyes of none Igbo supporters supporting Peter Obi.
During Buhari regime, they allowed it because that regime wanted the sit at home and Southeast destabilization to continue to paint IPOB/ESN/Kanu as evil before the eyes of the international community to stop supporting Kanu/IPOB so they could crush IPOB's Biafra agitation completely at all cost.
But Bola Tinubu's interest has to do with the 2023 Presidential election and nothing else.
Hope Uzodinma's involvement was to crush ESN and IPOB to please then Buhari's regime and to also seize the opportunity to crush every opposition in Imo state ahead of his reelection bid come November 2023. To this effect, Hope Uzodinma hired Igbo and none Igbo mercenaries through Asari Dokubo who did a lot of dirty job for him in the name of Ebube Agu security operation in Imo state. These illegal Ebube Agu security outfit formed by Hope Uzodinma, Dave Umahi and others have wrecked havoc in Imo, Ebonyi, Anambra mostly.
Hope Uzodinma's Ebube Agu have killed more Imo youths than any other insurgency. They have their torture and horro camps scattered all over Imo state thick forests and sometimes news media and bloggers mistake their evil deeds as IPOB/ESN. These criminal Ebube Agu security formed by Hope Uzodinma do carry out kidnapping and even unfounded arrests of Imo youths based on false claims and mere suspicion of crime and most never return alive.
The situation in Southeast is really terrible right now, all thanks to Buhari, Hope Uzodinma and other criminal actors.
Nnamdi Kanu also have a part of the blame. You should have been happy that federal government is indirectly supporting your Igbo Biafra |

HeeBraHim2: Dear Igbos
I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. As a Fulani man, I feel compelled to address the level of hypocrisy and blame that is often directed towards my tribe.
It is disheartening to witness how we blame everything solely on one tribe or group without considering the collective responsibility we all have in shaping the current situation of our beloved nation.
Let us not forget that the unity and peace of our country were taken away by the unfortunate events of the first coup that Igbo people staged to dominate us.
Some Igbos laid curses on Lord Luggard for almagamating Nigeria together but skipped Aguiyi Ironsi, who changed the system of government to a unitary one.
You hate the amalgamation of Nigeria but love how the British put Minority tribes under you in the Old Eastern Region.
You are the only people who are against the creation of the SS region because you don't want those people to be free from your chain.
Well, Nemesis is already catching you guys, as you dominate prisons all over the world, and everybody doesn't want to see you in their midst. Truly, God doesn't stand with the evildoers.
If you show respect and reach an agreement with us, we would have let you get the power that you so desperately want. But you think you can do it alone. Which is far away from the truth.
For humanity's sake, I'm pained for the level of poverty in the South East and how your young ones are giving up on education and jumping into the drug business. I beg federal government to intervane as soon as possible. The best way to is to grant them Biafra,so the the whole world will differential between Igbo and Nigerians |

The current Gun Firepower Index shows a significantly weakened Nigeria military.
Niger Republic would find alliance in Chad, Libya and enjoy sympathy of established terrorist groups, jihadists and Northern Nigeria.
Should Niger Republic be used to test the Firepower Index of the Nigerian military?
Please let's analyze and proactively prepare..

DomPerignon: Nzeagwu was decieved by the poison that was going round back then known as Zikism aka Afro Marxism. So also were most Bendel Ibos during that time .
But it took an ethnic dimension after the Murtala mutiny and from there the Bendel Ibos yoked themselves to the Ibos across the Niger.
Their aspirations back then in supporting Biafra despite the declared neutrality of the Midwest was greed to control all the vast wealth of the old Bendel.
Marxism is materialism with ethnic chauvanism.
The Jewish Bolsheviks exposed this false equality because despite their false claims to liberalism, only Jews ended up in positions of power and influence in post Tsarist Russia.
Today's Biafraism isn't even cloaked with false equality rather it is driven purely by Ethnic chauvanism in the form of Ibo Zionism.
This false claims of Ibo Judaism is what is fueling another repeat of Bendel Ibos being attracted to another Biafra project.
This won't end well unless they keep that rubbish to their own parts of Delta and not try join the Ibos in repeating another annexation of any other non Ibo parts of present day Delta and Edo.
I have said my own. When worse come to worse any speaking Igbo part especially in Delta state will seized to exist make my word. The Niger bridge is boundary between Igbo and ethical group of the Delta, people claiming Asaba today are migrants from Anambra state, across the bridge. |

DomPerignon: The Bendel Ibos were decieved by the Ibos across the Niger to support their expansionism.
The reprisal attacks that followed after the Biafran orcs were chased out was severe because all non Ibo Bendelites came to see the occupation of Midwest by Biafran soldeirs as a direct result of Ibo Bendelites collaborating with Ibos in Biafra against other non Ibo tribes.
The Biafran rogue army took their genocide to non Ibo peoples but did not touch the Bendel Ibos neither did the once amicable Bendel Ibos raise any objection on the Ibo orc army killing non Ibos.
If you even consider that all the officers surrounding the Urhobo Ejoor were Bendel Ibo and were the ones who chased Ejoor out and later opened the doors for Ojukwu's orcs to invade then you will understand why non Ibos came to resent the Ibo Bendelites .
The Zikists at Enugu even got some traditional chiefs among the Ibo to rewrite their history from Bini origins to Nri, in Anambra.
The Bendel Ibos back then messed up and that's why after the war, they began using the prefix "Bendel Ibo" to distinguish themselves from the cannibal orcs across the Niger. We knew all this same way the Igbo deceived Kaduna to carry out Igbo coup, Asaba need to be very careful Asaba doesn't belong to part of Igbo land,if not other tribes in Delta state could've not have the monopoly of ruling Delta state. Delta state is for ethics groups just like Niger Delta. |
Politics › Re: Did Murtala Truly Commit A Massacre In Asaba ? by KGBKremlin: 12:06pm On Jul 30, 2023 |
DomPerignon: No.
It was more of extra-judiciary killings and not an ethnic cleansing as we've been made to believe.
Was it a war crime ?
No.
This is because those rounded up and shot on the orders of Murtala had been actively collaborating with the Biafra invaders.
Most people do not know that immediately after the Biafran orcs retreated from the Midwest , there were reprisal attacks carried by non Ibo Bendelites on the Ibo speaking tribes for actively conniving with the Biafran invaders. The worse one not yet to happen if Asaba like they should learn |
