Also check if your car has power steering oil pressure switch. I believe it should have.

Your engine idle speed might be too low and the pressure switch disconnected. A scan may show a relating code.

Unfortunately you are a woman and not DIY savvy so doing an in house diagnosis isn't for you

1. Change the Fluid to the recommended fluid

2. Jack car up, start the car with the atf container lid removed steer the car left and right to lock if you notice bubble in the fluid then air is in the system causing obstruction

3. If after all this test symptoms persist change the complete steering rack and use recommended fluids.

You can inform kazeem to do the test in your presence if a technician with the right instruments to ascertain isn't around

Also hope your steering doesn't become soft only when moving/accelerating?

Yes it becomes soft when moving but if I have to slow down and make a turn or reverse, it becomes stiff.

Hello, pls I need your advise. My A.C cools when I set it on low in the mornings and evenings and when its rainy..but in a hot afternoon or even hot morning, I have to put it on 3 to really feel anything. When I put my hand to the vent there is cold air yet it doesnt seem to be spreading. Any suggestions? Thanks

On sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, I got the text from baby centre, I had made the 12 weeks period..I was glad. That evening, I started cramping. At midnight I woke up to pee, wiped and there was blood. Oh God, blood for the 1st time, why? Hubby said not to worry, most women see blood during pregnancy. I got ready for work and told him I need to go to the hospital 1st. He took me there and at the time, the blood was brownish. Dr, said I was spotting and I should bed rest for that day. I did. On tuesday I went to work. I sat down at my desk getting ready to start the day, when the cramps started again. It felt like something was pushing on my pelvic, trying to come out. I told myself I will have to go back home but before I could move, there was like a burst and gush blood everywhere in my office and a lump of tissue fell out. I picked it up immediately called my office secretary, a matured woman with kids. No one knew I was 3 months pregnant not even her cause I have been so energetic, never took sick leave for the 3 months. She helped me mop the floor while I called hubby to pick me up and come with change of clothes. We went to the hospital at that time the cramping had stopped and I was just bleeding. I was placed on drip and made to lie down with my legs up. I gave the Dr. The tissue I picked up and they knew it was a miscarriage. I cried when they told me I was having a possible miscarriage..no, not my baby, but why God, why, what about all the promises you made to me, that you are my defender and my protector, that 1000 shall fall, 10,000 even but it wont come near me? Dr. said it could happen due to stress or the baby already had some abnormalities, so the body rejected it. I still cried and couldnt stop crying. Dr. said he had to do a scan to be sure. While I was waiting for the scan, anytime I go to urine, I could feel the fetal tissue falling out. They did the scan and discovered I had lost the pregnancy but some remnants of the baby were still inside. They had to do a D & C to flush it out. I cry anytime I think about it, having remnants of my baby forcefully pulled out of my belly. Hubby tried to be strong for me. Him and MIL did their best to cheer me up as I lay there feeling helpless, feeling like a mess. He would smile when he sees me looking at him..but his eyes didnt lie. I had to tell myself to be strong, so he doesnt started crying. I was discharged the next day. It felt worse that this even happened 4 days to my birthday..a terrible birthday gift? But I am getting over it and when I celebrated my birthday some days later it dawned on me that it happened at the right time. It ended before I could step into my new year, so all things could be new and I could start well afresh again. Rest well, Hansel, you are still my precious gift from God.

I lost my baby at 12 weeks. The most traumatic experience in my life. I still wonder why it happened. On sunday 27th Nov, I got a message from baby centre..you are 12 weeks today it reads, chances of a miscarriage are very low now. I smile, I was happy. Lucky me..12 weeks with no morning sickness, no vomitting, no nausea. I was overjoyed. The pregnancy was a very interesting one for me. Immediately I conceived, I knew and was excited, at the time not even a blood test could have detected it but I knew. I called hubby to tell him, he said I was crazy and understandably too. We got married just the month before and agreed not to get pregnant that month. The next month, we decided it was time to try, we had sex 2 days ago and here I was telling him I was pregnant, I was just being silly he believed. Despite having told him, I remember how he will still be praying during our devotions for God to bless us with a child and I would just be smiling cause I knew baby was already there. In my 5th-6th week I started having mild cramps. I visited the hospital and I was given folic acids. Dr. said I should be fine as long as I wasnt bleeding and I wasnt. He said I should rest often and come back for my 1st scan in 6 weeks time. SIL said I shouldnt worry, its normal as the uterine walls adjust to the pregnancy. The cramps stopped. In my 7th week, I had a feeling of slight nausea. I told baby, not to make mama sick, cause she needs to work and in a few days time, I was better. From thereon, it was a smooth ride. It just felt like, me and baby had a perfect click from the start. The only thing reminding me of my pregnancy was the sore and full breast, then my thickening waistline. I was energetic. I had alwayz referred to baby as a she and when hubby ask, I will tell him all babies are shes till you know their sex. In my 8 week I woke up and I had this strong gut feeling that It was a boy..I waved it away and went online for my usual morning internet surfing, when I came across the name "Hansel"..I was staring at it for a long time, till I realised, it was a name, a boy's name. So I called baby "Hansel", my gift from God. I even told Hubby we were having a boy and his name, he laughed some more and called me crazy. In my 10 week, I had a strange dream. I was with a baby boy but he was very sick and was refusing to eat. I kept trying to feed the baby but he wont eat. I took him to my MIL and she adviced I breastfeed him. I put my breast in his mouth, hoping he will feed but he start sucking me so hard, it was painful and I started screaming. I woke up, it felt real. I prayed and told hubby. He chuckled and would tease me about the sucking hard part for the rest of the pregnancy. That part amused him to no end. Sometime around the 11th week, Hubby started noticing changes. He noticed my breast was less tender and said so. Then he noticed my stomach had gone down a little and said so. We didnt think much of any of those things.

lol. I havnt heard of such o. I drove till a day b4 delivery. Some no get choice than to drive esp wen u av a toddler and dh has to go to work.

Yea, I had to explain to her today that treking and taking public transport to work everyday is even more stressful for me. Also Spoke to a Dr. Friend who told me its safe to drive.

I think mama cares for you and her grand child.Driving is unsafe when one is prone to miscarriage or has had one.I think your Dr should know better.

Thanks for the response. No, I have never had a miscarriage just got married two months ago, this is my 1st pregnancy. Yea, she cares alot and worries alot too.. like she said I shouldnt take oranges and I read online oranges is good for first trimester. Then Sometime ago, I started have slight cramp like pain in my abdomen and sometimes my navel. Hubby told her and she and my FIL became so worried o. Even me feeling it sef, wasnt worried. Hubby then told his elder sister who gave birth a year ago and she said its normal, happens due to expansion. Now MIL is saying I shouldnt drive it can cause loss of pregnancy.

Hello mamas in the house, pls is it bad to drive during pregnancy. I am in my first trimester and my MIL thinks driving can cause a miscarriage. I have never heard of such and its giving me reason for concerns.

Hello everyone, this is my first time on this thread. Well, I was chased by hunger to look for a thread like this one on nairaland...yes hunger... This is my 6th week of pregnancy.. No nausea yet, just sore and swollen breast (which for some reason fascinates hubby #grins), fatique and craving to eat alot during the day. It doesnt matter if I just ate breakfast by 9am, by 11am I am very hungry again and the hunger is always so discomforting that I cant ignore..infact it gives me mood swing if I dont get something to eat as soon as possible I flare up easily. Today I ate by 8am..at 11, I was already restless to eat again..I tried to focus on work and ignored it..it became painful, so I had to get wheat and vegetable soup, ate two portion of what I usually take..now its around 2pm and I am getting hunger signals again. I will have to go get some crackers any time soon. My whole system is like that during the day, constant need to keep eating, then at night I am hardly hungry, just very exhausted. Is it normal to feel so hungry this early in pregnancy. I am worried about adding much weight this early.

Hello house please I need your help on this. My husband wants to invest in catfish business. He has never done it before and we have no idea the cost involved. We are thinking of starting with 1500 juveniles and breeding them for 4 months. Please what feed do we have to give them at every stage- from the 1st 2 weeks to the 4th month?..what is the cost of the feed and how long does a bag usually last for the quantity of fish we intend to rear? Hello house please I need your advise on this. I and my Fiancee are planning towards June for our wedding. I have suggested we use peach and cream for the wedding with touch of purple. Pls is that a good combination? Pictures will be much appreciated.

In combining it for the bridal party, the bridesmaids will wear peach gown and carry purple bouquet...the chief bridesmaid will be on purple gown. The groomsmen are wearing black suits with black bow tie, then purple flower pinned to their suit. What do you think?
