The issue is here again! I bet your wondering where the “paradigm shift” has leaded you to even as people can’t stop but “talk about it”, I mean about what in general. With slimy, witty and spectacular skits that depict creativity, the albums belonging to both M.I and Mode Ix, one is bound to get confused on which to purchase. Let’s check out the Album analysis of both albums… Jude Abaga (M.I) sure is one of Nigeria’s hottest emerging rap acts that have changed the industry with his style. Babatunde Olusegun (Mode Ix) no doubt has also done the same for years now. Their age differences has nothing to do with their profession even though Mode IX stands to be the oldest in the rap game, they both posses a lethal weapon in their writing and delivery skills. Check out word plays and similarities on track 2 and 11 of Mode and M.I respectively as they speak about “Big Boys” (use the word), track 7 (mode) and track 10 (M.I) sees both rappers lace tight instrumentals with dope rhymes telling the ‘listeners’ how best they are. Tracks 10 (Mode) and 5 (M.I) sees both rappers collaborate with reggae musicians, there’s a lot of spoken words in between, with Mode doing another track for Nigerian girls, tagged “Bush girl Behind girl”. M.I does an R n’ B song (track 16) meaning he can sing too! Mode goes straight reggae in verse 1 on (track 16)…similarities in track number and extra skills display. Though M.I dos not direct a few tracks to any one, Mode does it out rightly to “Rugged man” on track 3 and worsened the case track 22 (please listen to it). You may wonder less why a little similarity is found in both albums, even though they are quite unique. The facts are, Paradigm Shift had a touch of Jessy jags (M.I’s Brother) production. Both Hip-hoppers listened to the same Genre of rap songs and over time developed well sourced writing skills. What do u guyz think?

Don Jazzy: I'm really finding it hard to comprehend what ruggedman did to put the music industry in order for naija and only thing i can see is dissing the kennis music group,et al and those that people were really feeling then. Now that's music.Ruggedman did that to sell records and not put the music in order he understood the game and understood dissin was part of the game so he used it as a tool to get on top.Good work there. @ woodboi U are a BIG FOOL!!! are u comparing your Rughead with Mode? No comment. You know nuttin about Hip Hop. Word! |

You all think because mode's style of hip pop is hardcore so he's not selling, forget that man. Mode owns Red-Eye Music Label and he's been going on tours before he released his album here. Rughead cant even freestlye. For me RUghead is not a rapper but a musician just like Dbanj and others. He's Wack from head to Toe. Word!!! |
I'm waiting to see Rugged put all this into a track for us. |
dont mind the stupid guy. |
