ladyF:They are very very real. I have been using their services since 2014 for myself, my wife and sister (must have made over 30 transactions for both data and credit) and I have only had 1 or 2 issues with them which was later rectified. Just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean they are a scam and should be run down. We've all had bad experiences with most of the gsm companies (that's why pple use more than 1 network) but it doesn't make them scammers. |
Mogidi:You are really in for a 4 yr continuous anger. You mentioned ADC, CSO, SCOP, DG SS - am sure if you were in his shoes today you will put all your family members there because of the sensitive nature of the positions. Who will not put a trusted person from his area as his ADC? If I may ask, what have the ministers chosen from each state in the past contributed to the growth of their respectives states? I would rather have all the appointments come from a particular part of a country and have regular power, good roads, security, etc than have someone from my town who contributes nothing to the growth of the country. |
owobokiri:Mr Constitution Lawyer, please what part of the constitution has he broken by this appointment? |
For those making ignorant noises about PMBs appointments, what I want to ask is how many appointments has he made so far for him to be judged as been partial? The DG of SSS is a very powerful and sensitive position am sure every right thinking president will look for one of his loyalist for that post. You all can recall that this same SSS under the removed DG labeled Buhari and his party terrorist without any evidence apart from openly biased and hostile treatment to Buhari and APC. For those that lost the election and some E-Biafra warlords I think its high time you get it into your brains that this man is here to stay for at least 4yrs. There will be changes for the best just relax. |
jossyj:Nobody is holding you. If Ojukwu had carried everyone along back then you guys would probably have had Biafra by now. What I am saying is you don't create a country by inciting people to kill and maim others. Get other nationalities along, eg. SS. The Igbo land is land locked, you need the cooperation of those around you but with the way the guy is going about it will probably make him more enemies. An typical Igbo man will rather stay in Alaba and anywhere else and make his money rather than join for a cause that will lead to death. With all the losses incured by the Igbos in the North through sectarian violence in the past how come the ones there have not refused to quit the place and return to Biafra? |
It's so saddening reading through this thread. So much hate and anger misdirected. We have indigenes of the different tribes ruling the different states, what have they made of the resources given to them? I believe Abia State was ruled by an Igbo man, so are we saying its the yorubas and hausas that made it a failed state? The Nnamdi that is shouting now will be like another Revd King, hailed as the messiah but cooling his heels somewhere in Kaduna prison. Remember Ojukwu, when the going got tough, he bailed out! Let's preach LOVE and not hate. |
chinchum:Another very Good response to the Porka guy. God bless you for digging out the figures with links you quoted. |
INVINCIBLECSP:My dear Bible quoting young man, we gave your Peace "GEJ" enough chance or is 6 solid years not enough. King Saul had 40 years to redeem himself but he still failed. So your line of thought on this lacks merit. Anyway like I keep telling people in the same boat like you, the deed is done already, we have a New President with a 4 year Mandate and praying/hoping that he fails will just be an exercise in futility. God does not answer to prayers made in hatred. |
porka:Ok o Mr Thorough, whether its 'Goodluck or Good luck' at least you got my drift. So likewise. whether its 140mil or 180mil, all we are looking forward to is change and Change we shall definitely see after 16 wasted years of figure quoting governments in power. Last word, I like the fact you have not gone the FFK or Okupe way by resorting to personal abuses which is actually a norm for 95% of Buhari Haters on NL. |
porka:I really really want to get your point and then make you see my point but....... . Anyway Goodluck (no pun intended) with your extrapolation, growth rate and tainted Census Figures. I Pray you and I will be alive to see the real Growth and Change we have all been clamouring for being brought about by your President and his change people. |
INVINCIBLECSP:Calling some people "COWS" just goes to show the state of your mind. Don't worry our hospitals will soon be put in good shape to test heads/minds like yours. I am sure you are one of those that is praying things go on the way they are or even worse just to tell people "I told you so". But "many are the devices in the heart of men, but only the Lord's Counsel will be established". Whether you like it or not you are stuck with these "Hausa Cows" for the next 8yrs and the "Blinded Change people" for the next 40yrs! |
porka:This is what happens when you try to swim in levels beyond your expertise. You ended up contradicting yourself. In your first post you said he didn't use the census figures of 140mil which made him not knowledgeable while in your second post you are claiming otherwise. The reason why he should be trusted is because he is discarding an untrusted figure for a more realistic one of 180mil. Everywhere in the world you get Nigeria being described as a country of over 180mil. |
@ShowYourCertificate You can't know better than a former General who has actually fought in a war and dealt with insurgency in the past. Have you ever wondered why the soldiers doing the actual fighting have being revolting against there officers? It is because while they are in the trenches fighting and dying, these big Generals are in Abuja buying up lands and eating peppersoup. In a situation where it took the bombing of his personal house in Adamawa state before a so called Chief of defense Staff could visit troops is very sadening. What your President means is that the Command Center for the War in the North East will be located Borno and no more in Abuja for better coordination. He is not saying that he is moving the military HQTERS there. If there is another insurgency elsewhere in the country, the command center for that particular insurgency will be relocated to that area. |
@Porka, you really tried hard to make sense with your "180million" versus "140mil" stuff. Unfortunately you just went the way of the attention seeking lawyer by ending up not making any sense. Everyone knows (except you) that Census figures in Nigeria are mostly contrived figures that shouldn't be trusted. I rather have a president making plans for 180million people than one understating the figures. |
@ShowyourCertificate Your ignorance is just getting more pathetic with each post you make. If I may ask, how many Certificates have you obtained? I can bet you are one of those still sitting for Jamb after many attempts while your mates have all moved on in life, just like your President. My advice, start using your senses, they are yours and they are free. You won't be charged any fee for using them. |
For all you guys complaining about his accent I bet most of you also suffer from intonation problem- the reason why you will know its an Igbo man, Calabar man, or even a Yoruba speaking when you hear them. You have 8yrs to put up with it! For those calling him Illiterate, majority of you guys probably sat for WAEC/Jamb 3-4 times and some of you are still sitting till now. And for those of you that managed to get a degree, what have you done with your lifes. A lot of your mates have their 2nd degrees, phd, attained proffesional qualifications but you all are here forming champion. Just my honest bit. |
bofoy:Am sure you are the illerate one. Better read harder so you can pass your WAEC exams this time around. I can bet you can't give a speech lasting 10 seconds in front of primary schl pupils. |
My 2 cents to the Poster and Everybody: Learn to kip ur fingers off your phone. Any technology that comes to Nigeria must be bastardized. Pple are glued to their phones 24/7, haha. I have seen married women with "last seen online" status reading 2.30am plenty times. So also married men. I also almost fell into that chat trap a couple of years ago, what started as ordinary chats suddenly became intimate chats till one day my wife wanted to snatch d phone from my hands, had to struggle to collect it back b4 she read d conversation. Self-control is the watchword. Cheating does not only occur offline but also online. |
Saddest thing about this whole matter is that some of the perpetrators of that evil act or their colleagues who know about the hit might be on this forum reading this whole story. Some will even be married, with kids living a "respectable" life. One thing is so certain, their will be a lot of shocking revelations on the Great Judgement Day. Thank God my school was peaceful during the 90's. Unilorin- permanent site. |
@EzioAuditore, Do you know why more Muslims are being Converted every day? It's becos a Christians approaches a non-christian with the Good News of Christ and what he/she tends to benefit from being saved through that Good News. On the other hand, a Muslim will try to convince a non Muslim either by force or by trying to list out so called contradictions in d Bible rather than state what is to be gained by following Allah. |
Right now with abt 2m vote diff. in favour of APC and.with all the NE n NC states yet to be officialef released ny Jega in the bag for APC bar Taraba State, I likened it to this scenario: It is still mathematically possible for Liverpool to win the EPL (pls check d table) but we all know in our hearts that is is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! That is the situation in which PDP finds themselves now. I commend their supporters still having hope but u know a Drowing man will cling to anything. |
Am amazed folks here shouting SS n SE votes will cancel d states in d NW n NE. I hope they r not county bayelsa and ebonyi whr total number of accredited voters are not up to 700k. Edo and Imo will pull plenty votes for APC. what is now left in the region when you remove this 4 states above? Assuming Rivers even gives pdp over a million votes and d rest manage 1.5 million votes i.e. 2.5 nil max. now compare with kano, katsina and jigawa that will yield almost that same number of votes for APC. Handwriting is on the wall that is why pdp is already calling for cancellation of 4 northern states when there results have not even been announced. |
Abati, FKK and other pdp apologists keep shouting to high heavens for citizens to ignore results posted on social media I just get more amazed at there desperacy and the ignorance of there supporters. 1. Most of the results on the SM are authorized and certified results from the state INEC. 2. Common sense makes it obvious that he sum total of the parts will make the whole. Ekiti state that was announced was also released piecemeal the way the other states are being released now. 3. Why is it easy to believe Ekiti noting that. the result was not announced by Jega but by the state INEC? The handwriting is clearly on the wall and drowing men (pdp n dr supporters) will surely cling to anything. Goodluck next election year to u guys. |

I posted the below post on another thread but want to share it here too. Ekiti was never part of the permutations of APC. In 2011 Pdp won 5 out of the 6 SW states but with what is on ground he will only win 1- Ekiti. In 2011 PDP won in Kwara, Kogi, Benue, Taraba but this time around they are losing out based on strong feelers . Benue's loss will be because of non- payment of abt 7months salary by a pdp govt. APC will win all the Northeast and Northwest states add the sure 5 SW states and Kwara, benue, Kogi and taraba its very obvious that CHANGE has swept through the country. |

I do it all the time and most time bare chested too. my wife doesn't complain much she only tells me to put on a top which I always have ready beside if it is a female visitor. I hate being dressed up at home especially when all I want to do when I come back from work is have my two girls ride horse on my back around d house or sit down to watch some serious football. Can't do that clad with agbada, suit or jeans now! |
When I hear stories of pple's pockets/bags bin picked what usually comes to my mind is that they are careless until it happened to me. My phone was picked from my pocket while listening to brila Fm. I noticed I didn't hear anything again but I just Tot it was because of d noise around me in d bus so I removed d earpiece from my hear. It was when I wanted to change station dat o drew out a dangling earpiece with no phone attached to it. |
jentlemanjoe:Bros ds ur story get as e be o. hope u won't start asking for money or recharge card from pple once dey contact u? |
l don't think anybody was able to write the test today. and if there are they can't be up to 0.5% of the total number of selected candidates. I was rescheduled for 6.30pm but left after 30mins of trying. just like the issues with the application submission I think they would extend it to sort themselves out. |
