There would be no child support if the children stayed with the father, or if it's a case of joint custody. To make things worse, not only are children automatically given to the mothers, the mother can successfully file for a restraining order to keep the father away from the kids, and even poison the children's minds against the father. Even if the children want to stay with their fathers, the court usually disregards it. The arsenal that the US court system provides women to use against men is something that women like even though many would deny it.
Many men have not seen their children in years, and some get to see their children few times a year/month. It's a case where the courts and women use children as pawns to deal with the father.
