At the same time, I have been victimized by a useless white professor. I wanted to take it like he was doing so because I am black but I just did not. I had the worst grade with that man. In fact, he made sure he did not make me graduate with the highest grade because he gave me "F" in one of his courses. He denied me to be on the dean's list. I swallowed my pride and approached another white professor to help me out. And he was like..."how come?". Another white professor got involved in it and the dean of my faculty was also informed. They set up an investigative panel. Here is my point - one white professor made me think it was a battle of racism, but another white professor changed the story. Infact, I did not have one single black lecturer, so I couldn't have approached one. The intent of the panel set up is what changed everything. Of course, the nice professor sat me down that I should not think I am going to get A+ because he knows the man is very smart, and he would bring out many ridiculous reasons. And sure, the guy brought out so many reasons to justify himself. There was nothing like he failed me unjustly. He proved his case very well, but everyone knew that he was wrong. And then, one professor brought out a case which was years before mine where that same professor assisted a white girl. And then, that was how the story changed. Professor looked so stupid. And because he did not want to look like a racist, he bowed and gave me "C". I was happy and I thanked them all. Of course, it was a difficult position paper. Lol. I learned my lesson. I was invited to write another position paper, and I declined it. My dean got to know, and asked me to report to his office. And they started pressing me again. Of course, they needed me to write it because such paper is good in the archive. One written by an African who was one of their best at the time.

I have been locked up by a white policeman. Lol. I came down from my apartment and he stopped me right in front of my entrance. And asked for identification. And I pointed to my house, and he said nope that I should not go in to bring it. And started saying if I dont follow him, he will brutalize me. I saw him trying to handcuff me, and I pulled up my hands immediately that I am not resisting and I am ready to follow him. He said good and pushed me inside the back of his car. And locked me up. They started questioning me after many hours in the cell without food. When they realised that I was not the one they were looking for, they left me in peace. And funny, the same police man who handcuffed me operated in the area for many months. And everytime he saw me again, he would wave at me. And one time, he asked me to have lunch with his family. And his wife started apologizing after she knew the circumstances I met her husband.

Another time, I was slapped by a white police officer. The mistake he made was to tear off my shirt, and punched me. I said absolutely nothing. It could get worse if I had retaliated, but I held my peace. I knew the game. I allowed him think he has defeated me. And I started mine. I make sure I got a good lawyer fast. Same day I went with all the evidences....as in I wore the torn clothes to the district office and I made them take DNA evidences. Then, they asked for alcohol breath test cos the guy claimed I was under narcotics influence. After the tests, the foolish boy started begging me. Under normal circumstance, this is a boy I would destroy with my fist, but I respected the uniform on him. The case went to court and sure, he was purnished. What if I had retaliated? That would have turned the case around.

Well, there might be cases of real injustice, no doubt about it...there is injustice around. But I can tell you that 90% cases where violence was recorded was as a result of immediate retaliation from the victim.

Khiaa, I think you should not retaliate. What you need to do is to carry out vengeance in a smart way. No one wants to listen to a bittered woman because this is how you have been sounding. Rather, I want you to reposition yourself and change the story. Start educating Nigerians here about the dangers ahead. Stop telling people they are worshiping whites. Of course, no one will ever listen to you. You may be right that some set of people worship another kind of people, but a good communicator will not still say it.

i remember some weeks ago a friend of mine both of us went to the market here to purchase some foodstuffs.they have open air markets just like we have in naija though their markets here are much neater and they dont pile up rubbish ln front of the market like we do in nigeria...apart from their open air markets they also have shopping malls like our shoprite in nigeria though their ladies dont do selfies in shopping malls like our ladies do in naija.some me and dis my friend purchased some nice looking onions and grape fruits and bananas(they have nice looking juicy bananas over here).so this my guy saw one watermelon and was asking the lady if the watermelon is good and tasty.now there was a dominican guy standing close and he took offence and asked my friend if he isnt from africa and he doesnt know what water melon is.i think d dominican guy misread my friend"s intention but then he acted as if he had a beef with a nigerian guy before.i had to go in between my friend and the dominican guy to ease the row that was about to spark off .the dominican was just sounding off and saying things about nigerians but i told my guy to ignore.we bought our foodstuff and left.over here is best u ignore anybody that is ignorant and make friends with the ones who are cool with u.but overall what i have seen here in dominica is positive reception from them.they like nigerians but then there are some who are still suspicious based on the news they have heard about nigerians but then when they get to know u and see u not a bad person they open up.as for weda they hate africans cos they sold them into slavery i havent experience any of such.
