for me, i believe friend u had while u were younger make better friends as u grow....in essence i hardly make new friends..aquaintances....yes but i cannot be close to them like my childhood friends that weve stayed connected through the years(they are best!!!!!!) |
YungwizzzyPt7:i beg to disagree with this notion cos ive had bad experiences with guys i thot were my close pallies back then until they backstabbed me....told lies to my boyfriend at the time. infact they made me soooo wary of friends generally.l |
ViktorMartins:thank u very much...appreciate |
pickabeau1:laugh....nope else twould have been posted at the joke column... |
pickabeau1:i never said i had all the facts...truth be told i didnt ask so i would give her any advice....i just was puzzled at why a squable wuld be settled with such a condition. |
Raiders:but dyu know there are some men who dont knw and care what their wives earn cos they believe its their duty to provide for the home. |
Raiders:this isnt helping out IMO cos he wants it all...its a different ballgame if she assists in purchasing stuffs in the house or contributes to paying bills. |
eunisam:i still think they all dont support that but the YES are those who do it to avoid issues(for peace sake people) |
haftob:he says its meant to show her submissiveness...thats the part that puzzles me. |
i just spoke with a friend of mine who has been having marital challenges and she says the hubby has given her a condition for their make up - submit your salary to me at the end of every month. i really dont like being in the middle of marital squables cos i wouldnt want anyone in mine so i told her to pray and talk it out with her husband though it did get me thinking, whats the rationale behind that condition...for men in the house who do this please enlighten me cos i dont support it. |
tatiana009:i agree with you on the domestic abuse part. as for maturity to know how to handle issues...hmmmmnnnn...that one na God!! |
Kanwulia:wow!!!! i love this family of yours. Sincerely tho this oughta be way it should be. |
i know a lot of wives are guilty of this. Granted your family wishes you well and will never advise you wrongly( or so you think) but i daresay most times they do. please remember that you are the one who said the "for better for worse" part thus will and should be able tolerate what comes your way(believe me they will come) but your folks, they cannot tolerate it if their little girl is going through all that(trust ladies to always paint the picture of the victim) my take on this is whatever the issue, please resolve it with your spouse that's the least you owe to each other. |
Thanks for all your responses/advice. speed dial has really spoilt a lot of us.. |

Mrs mansson: My hubby cried all through.i was in labour for good 2days,when he got tired of crying he started praying, and when my cervix couldnt dilate further despite the fact that i was induced ,all he was saying then was "if i knew i wouldnt have gotten her pregnant O"the nurses laughed at him eh.Finally when i was going into the theartre he looked @ me like it was the last time he would ever see me.Thank God everything went well.wow!!! 2 days!!! i feel his ...and ur pain ![]() |
candieangel12: Rlly? I thought the hubby usually stays in the labor room?wanted dat badly but...was a no no for me..their own hospital policy( ) |
candieangel12: I dunno how my future hubby will react but hopefully he will be a strong man that wont be a wimp at the sight of childbirth, especially since I want 2 have my children naturally at home in the bathtub. Something about water birth fascinates mewater birth always fascinated me too, unfortunantely some see it as wierd...well in my case hubby wasnt allowed into the labour room but he stayed out all thru where he culd hear everything going on and told me he heard our babys first cry. |
the test will be at kogi state polythecnic lokoja on saturday 18th. all d best |
