1) PLease in dubai what is the acceptable minimum salary per month for a bsc business admin or human resources graduate with a 1 yr job experience.

2) is a salary of 4, 000 enough for a single person to survive in Dubai for a month and would there be enough to save up considering the cost of living in Dubai (Accommodation etc already provided by the employer)

3) Do foreign degrees still pay more in Dubai

Guys, I need your help. I have a Polish Work Permit that was issued about 2months ago. But I have not been able to apply for the visa because of the covid 19 thing.

My question is, how long can I have the approved work permit with me before I apply for the visa without expiring ?

I would appreciate anyone’s response.
seasonal work permit is valid for just the season of the job which is stated on your contract.

As for full time work. I saw 1 year while another site said 3 months. I advice you contact the agency that help you process it.

Official transcript are usually not issued to students . I suggest you sort them at your school senate or you request that the transcript be sent to a friend’s organization or office address( Then you pick it ).
The student copy is also an original copy but it usually carries a watermark stating that it's for students information only
I stand to be corrected
thanks a lot for the information

Yes, like I said earlier, someone told me about Poland and I applied immediately to a school which I got AD. I started discussing it with my family and they made me to start having a rethink. My aunt’s husband lives in Germany which is just a 2hrs drive from Poland and he said that Polish people usually go to Germany in search of jobs and because they are paid in Euros too, that their zloty doesn’t have much value. I’m just thinking ahead on how to survive if I decide to go there as a masters student, because I won’t have any other support from my family apart from the first year tuition.

If you are in Poland and you have a good advice for me on what to do, I will appreciate it. Thanks.
now I get you. Your aunt is right in some aspects but let me explain it better for you.

First of all you get paid what you deserve be it zloty or euro. Poland is a well organized country as there are part of the EU.

Note euro is higher than dollar
Minmum wage in Nigeria is less than 100$

Ukraine is around 386$ (you work your head off to earn such amount + e no dey European union )

Poland is around 576€

Germany is around 1'550€

Nigerians run to Poland and Ukraine

Ukrainians & Nigerians run to Poland for better life and European propect

Polish run to Germany for more money they can earn. cheesy

Note poland is far cheaper than Germany and since its just 2h drive won't you prefer to live in poland where things are cheap while you work in Germany where you get paid more.

If you have lot of money go to Germany

If you no get enjoy poland

Just as your aunt no belive poland, na so poland no belive Ukraine

And na so them Ukrainians no belive we Nigerians

cheesy smiles ***

I’m really worried about the fact that there are no students jobs in Poland. If you even manage to find a menial job, they pay in their currency which is very small compared to Euro. Whereas, you pay house rents and other stuffs in Euro. Looks like a hard life for me. I just having a second thought. What will the Masters degree from Poland do for me?
first of all, your going abroad to get quality education that will help you. That the most important thing.

2) how do you know there are no jobs in poland. Try and read from page 80 of this thread

3) Before you make assumptions on any matter related to traveling abroad try and do a lot of research. Don't travel without proper research done.

4) sorry I understand you, life no balance at all . If your looking for easy life, going abroad is not for you. It is for people who are ready to get out of their comfort zone and face life, cause see this life where we dey live so wither na for 9ja or for yankee e hard.

Is your transcript a student copy ?
If yes then you can’t certify it at MOE
MOE only accepts official transcripts
It doesn’t need to be addressed to the school
I stand to be corrected
high can you throw more light on official copy and student copy. Cause what I know is you get an original copy from your school which is the student copy, while the official copy is for your school

Hello Kid7, this information is not entirely true. The only form of birth certificate accepted as authentic must be that issued @ the National Population Commission (NPC) office.

I'll advice you let them know this, to obtain this, all you need do is get a sworn affidavit of age declaration deposed by one of your parent or relative. By this I mean it would be sworn on your behalf by these persons. So when going to the High Court preferably, go with your passport Photograph and that of whoever will attest for you.

With that affidavit go to any NPC office around you and you have a solid birth certificate recognised anywhere.
thank you for this information.

But e go shock you when you enter a health center and see them issuing the same birth certificate from npc. Na 9ja we dey.

Exemptions from travel restrictions

The following categories of  persons are exempt from the temporary travel restriction to the EU+ area from the third countries which are not on the list agreed by the Member States:

(a) Union citizens within the meaning of Article 20(1) TFEU and third-country nationals who, under agreements between the Union and its Member States, on the one hand, and those third countries, on the other hand, enjoy rights of free movement equivalent to those of Union citizens, as well as their respective family members.

(b) third-country nationals who are long-term residents under the Long-term Residence Directive or deriving their right to reside from other EU Directives or national law or who hold national long-term visas, as well as their respective family members.

The temporary travel restrictions should also not apply to people with an essential function or need, including

healthcare professionals, health researchers, and elderly care professionals

frontier workers

seasonal workers in agriculture

transport personnel

Diplomats, staff of international organisations and people invited by international organisations whose physical presence is required for the well-functioning of these organisations, military personnel and humanitarian aid workers and civil protection personnel in the exercise of their functions;

passengers in transit

passengers travelling for imperative family reasons

seafarers

persons in need of international protection or for other humanitarian reasons;

third-country nationals travelling for the purpose of study;

highly qualified third-country workers if their employment is necessary from an economic perspective and the work cannot be postponed or performed abroad.

Exemption details

Seasonal workers

Temporary travel restrictions should not apply to travel by people with an essential function or need, including seasonal workers in agriculture.

Medical professionals

Temporary travel restrictions should not apply to travelling by people with an essential function or need, including healthcare professionals, health researchers, and elderly care professionals.

EU citizens’ family members*

The temporary travel restriction must exempt nationals of all EU Member States and Schengen Associated States, as well as their family members.

*Family members (as defined in Articles 2(2) and 3(2) of Directive 2004/38/EC):

Articles 2(2):

(a) the spouse;

(b) the partner with whom the Union citizen has contracted a registered partnership, on the basis of the legislation of a Member State, if the legislation of the host Member State treats registered partnerships as equivalent to marriage and in accordance with the conditions laid down in the relevant legislation of the host Member State;

(c) the direct descendants who are under the age of 21 or are dependants and those of the spouse or partner as defined in point (b);

(d) the dependent direct relatives in the ascending line and those of the spouse or partner as defined in point (b);

Articles 3(2):

(a) any other family members, irrespective of their nationality, not falling under the definition in point 2 of Article 2 who, in the country from which they have come, are dependants or members of the household of the Union citizen having the primary right of residence, or where serious health grounds strictly require the personal care of the family member by the Union citizen;

(b) the partner with whom the Union citizen has a durable relationship, duly attested.

Transport personnel

The temporary travel restrictions should not apply to transport personnel. This category should be interpreted broadly.

Someone claiming asylum

The temporary travel restrictions should not apply to travel by people with an essential need, including persons in need of international protection or for other humanitarian reasons.

Third-country students

This new exception covers third-country students starting or continuing their studies in the EU in the academic year 2020/21. A student is defined in Article 3(3) of the EUs Students and Researchers Directive 2016/801 as “a third-country national who has been accepted by a higher education institution and is admitted to the territory of a Member State to pursue as a main activity a full-time course of study leading to a higher education qualification recognised by that Member State, including diplomas, certificates or doctoral degrees in a higher education institution, which may cover a preparatory course prior to such education, in accordance with national law, or compulsory training.”

Third-country workers

This new exception covers third-country workers who, because of their high level of skills and knowledge, are needed to contribute to the EU’s post-COVID economic recovery. It may include those whose application for permits under the EUs Blue Card Directive 2009/50, the EU ICT Directive 2014/66, the Directive 2016/801 as Researchers, or under a national scheme for skilled migrants was approved, but who were until now prevented from entering the EU due to the entry ban.

Bloggers and fake news. they said suspected which means there are no proof she was raped. only proof of death are matchet cuts.

You need to carry out an autopsy to know if she was raped in this case and in this case it wasn't stated. It's a pity Nigerians don't read with understanding, everyone is now shouting rape.

The inclusion of rape as part of the headline is just to sell the news. It can also be claim she was use for yahoo +.

Please let try dish out the news the way it is before you give somebody high blood pressure

This is coming from somebody still trying to leave Nigeria for Poland? Do you have an idea the number of Polish people living in the UK doing all sorts of jobs?
yes I'm try to leave for Poland but I do have family members outside this country especially considering the fact that most of them have been living in the UK since 60s, by the way my own sister studied in the UK from 2012-2015 before living for Canada for her masters. She still regrets spend money going over to UK when she should have gone to Germany or Canada in the first place.

How about friends who went there for masters and had to return to Nigeria after their studies. All of them wish they had been patient enough to try out other countries.

If that's not enough for any body to see the red light that UK is not what it use to be, then I don't know what it is.

Some body even pointed out South Africa, do you see me fault that person suggestion. Every man is entitled to his or her opinion. This is a public group.

Justwise the UK you went to, know about, or live In is not the UK of those days. They was a time students ran over to UK like it was heaven but those who know it not the same today, also knowing they are no longer part of the EU.

You should know better.

Finally

Uncle justwise please stop trolling me and stop making a fool of yourself by quoting me up and down when you don't know anything about me.

I don't know you from Adam, I only met you here on the UK/Dubai platform.

Oga keep off me.

E done the take style turn obsession or should I call it harassment.

I wish SEGUN had a portal where we could rate or report moderators behaviors cause you are now using your authority to become a cyber bully
