It's not harmless, matter of fact they're always looking adorable and having puppy eyes sort of, but one thing is they're not harmless.. Since you said you saw the male one on your neighbour's wall, you guys should be careful over there, though Naturally Boomslangs would slither away and hide immediately they see a human, it makes them hard to catch and locate.

It can only be fatal within 2-5 days if not treated, but then you can't take that risk because anti venoms are rare in this country.

10000% sure that's a Boomslang, don't let the color fool you.. Boomslangs are different from other snakes when it comes to their sexes.
The male Boomslangs are usually bright colours ranging in different Green colours.
That's the male, Female Boomslangs on their other hand are Brown and dark in colour.
They're the only snakes you can different their sex by color.
Make your research, Don't just view Google's pictures, Read articles about em and you can even search Female Boomslang and Search Male Boomslangs afterwards

His environment might not be dirty, That snake is a Boomslang, they're tree snakes, tiny enough to camouflage as a branch or twig.
It might've scaled through Op's window from a tree nearby.

That's a Boomslang, they're called Tree snakes also because their hiding places are on trees, they're tiny so the can easily camouflage with branches and twigs without being spotted.
Boomslangs are among Africa's highest venomous snake, so next time please don't be stupid enough to think you can attack any snake with your feet.

Bro's, it's not because we don't want to stay back home, but what are we going to eat this night, if I don't sell anything. We can't even preserve anything in the fridge because there's no power, meaning I most cook everyday, I must buy perishable foods everyday.

Someone woke up one day and decided it's standard living not Sandalili.
These stuffs aren't popular nursery rhymes, these are Nigerian rhymes and poems, and yet most people are quick to bash everything local about it and switch it with the White man's language.

There's no history or reference whatsoever to whoever wrote these local nursery rhymes, but down the years and for generations it's been “Sandalili" until someone decided to say it's Standard living and then everyone followed suit.
You guys should always take into consideration these stuffs are LOCAL NURSERY RHYMES AND PLAYGROUND SONGS so stop trying to change anything local about these stuffs.
Do your search also, you'll see there's no original quote, reference or anything citing the original work is ‘Standard living'.

When I first read this shît last week, I did an extensive search for it.
The poem has no history, no records anywhere on Google, nothing about if it's a nursery rhyme.
