@naggy:am planning to apply to a community college.what are my chances, I've been made to believe that the VO would automatically refuse anyone from Nigeria applying to community colleges, please I'd appreciate guidelines and advise regarding this issue.

Am sincerely grateful for the helps and suggestions so far.I'd be glad if anyone who has scheduled and gone for thier interview after March 1st under the new appointment system could share their experience.if there are new details one should know about.

This thread's great.i mean evrybody coming out to give thier own piece of advice.As a nigerian i believe we'vegot hustle living inside us.if you want it to be all rosy in yankee then u're tripping.prepare for the worse once you know you dont have enough money.and pray to God for survival, No mata how difficult it is to survive in yankee am sure it is not as hard as sleeping under the bridge here in lagos.so get yo hustle on.prepare to run.prepare to fast and pray.ask for God's favor and Grace and most especially brodas NA GOD OH.

@kentro.Am planning to go for the interview by may and i want to schedule at Abuja but the interview dates for May at Abuja are not out yet so am still waiting till the dates are open.How much do you think would be considerably sufficient.

I want to re-apply for an F1 visa.i as denied last fall.cuz my sponsor didn't have enough money in his account.I actually went there with a photocopy of the account statement.the consular officer told me that firstly a photocopy was unacceptable and then the balance i had on my account was insufficient.he however gave a particular letter to come back with.he said i should come back the following Tuesday with the original bank statement.and that i didn't need to book another appointment before returning.that as much as he wanted to give me the visa that the amount on the statement was insufficient so i returned with an original statement containing the same amount of money.when i got to the embassy he checked and discovered it was still the same amount so i was denied.please i would need advice on reapplying plus my sponsor is my uncle though he didn't complain about that and every other question was answer greatly and i responded well.i would appreciate any suggestion to successfully receiving the visa urgently
