PoliticsRe: Where Nigeria’s Power Roadmap Missed Road by Kieldgreat:
Nna,

Another place where we/you miss it is that we let the unqualified in places where we need qualified persons with a good head on their neck.

Do we blame the unqualified? No my brother my friend, while the qualified like yours truly have found their way out of this conundrum by staying in Texas, a void was created and like you know, nature abhors emptiness. Someone has gat to fill it.

Come back home brother. Let your voice be heard. The change mantra still lives, it didn't end on the 28th of March. Come back home.
Mother Nigeria needs you more than ever, Come back home.
The falcon can no longer hear the cry of the falconer, Come back home
.

To think that the Enugu coal mines I learnt in primary school social studies do not exist anymore brings me close to tears.
When we make policies with ethnical bearings, this is what you get.

I hope this piece finds it way to the right place.

bombella:
Fellow nairalanders pls help me. I'm a student of microbiology in Delta State university. I'm from a humble home as my parents labor hard to pay my tuition. I have given my all to ensure that I study and have no reason to fail any course. This lecturer named A.A Anigboro BSc, MSC (Benin), an Urhobo man married with kids. He lives at Okhogoro in Abraka. Lecturer 11 (biochemical toxicology/molecular biology). This man has been failing me just to sleep with me. He has failed so many girls just cos of sex. No one is doing anything about it. He calls you with a private number and asks you to come to his house to sex him. We also have conscience and dignity for our bodies. I have younger ones and my parents aren't getting younger. They can't afford paying school fees for me every year. I'm lamenting for myself and the many girls who have to suffer years just because of the illicit pleasure of a adulterous married man. Whoever can get the attention of any authority should please help us female students in microbiology department in Delsu. It is so unfair. I can't be sleeping with lecturers when am studying and paying my fees for them to lecture me. Pls help somebody!!!
The police they say is your friend bombella. Go to the nearest police station and file a formal complaint. Ask other female victims to go and do same. There is a National Human Right Commission NHRC in country. I believe you have access to internet, make the best use of it. Send a formal complaint to them too. You also have a Students Affair, here you should be careful, go straight to the dean and send a formal complaint too. You have a School senate, find out the members of the senate, ask around, get to see the ones with good record. Talk to one or two about it.

There are a lot of avenue to approach this bombella, the only problem is us. We have lose faith in the very system that is setup to protect us. If you chase this issue through all known means consistently and with all truthfulness, someone would take you serious.

Delsu is known for what you complain about, i doubt if anyonewould have a hard time believing you.

PS: If you think you cant do all of this but prefer to come to nairaland and draw attention, then let me ask;
Do you have a boyfriend?
You have been having sex with him right?
With not much of a thing in return right?
Then giving your lecturer some to make good grades is as much a sin as what you've been doing with him?

So, like a whole lot of what Delsu girls do, Give Him some!

PhonesRe: Bought A Faulty Tablet From Aliexpress by Kieldgreat: 3:55am On Mar 05, 2015
Filing a dispute claim is the way to go Bae. If your buyers protection period has elapsed, send a complaint mail to the Aliexpress customer care. They would do something about it. You can also try to legally threaten the buyer that you would give him/her a bad review if he doesn't do anything asap.

While doing this, also try repairing the tab in naija. Small money wey you go take repair am fit come out from the dispute claim, only sey na ur paypal dem go wire am to and you no go fit cash paypal 'officially' yet for Nigeria. Thanks to the G-guys grin

I think this is a lesson for you. Electronics?? Don't try the Chinese except if your shipping address is in the US or other developed places in the world. If its Nigeria, they would send you 'your' standard. Fabrics, housewares...give them a shot...

Hope this helps.

Hi,

what do we all think of investing in Caverton at the moment?

My friends in investment tell me they are still optimistic for oil services firms, especially those run by ex-Shell and ex-banking guys, even though oil price is so weak.

Might be another way of leveraging Naija oil exposure but without getting burned by the oil benchmarks.

All thanks
Caverton in Naija here still has oil exposure. They are one of the offshore transport coy in naija. I think that is their major business here. It is a good buy tho but i would advise u watch for sometime and see when the price bottoms out...then u can place a buy bid.

My Oga, the warnings were for the good of all. What is happening now is a retracement and if you know what it means, it makes for good exit opportunity.

The thing here is that some people see beyond what you are told by the CBN, Ngozi and co. Until there is the hope of the oil price trending back up, all will not be well with your country. Think devaluation of the naira and its consequences on the equities market.

This market is still not going anywhere, look to start investing again from Q2'15.
Who are the people u claim that sees beyond what CBN and FMF is saying? Really who do you think that knows better than what them?? The price of crude, not minding how much crash it has seen in recent times, is still way bigger than the benchmark for crude for this fiscal year. Does guys are trying to keep the economy stable. It amazes me when i see people who are supposed to know better say stuffs like this.

Please advise all your "iku na ibe" to sell off their stocks now, we are waiting to buy...remember only juicy ones oo grin grin grin

I use this house, sincerely yours, this brokerage house is rated 5 all on 5 by me based on my rapport with them. The only thing i don't like in this house charging me 1.8percent for buying and they did n't offer realtime online trading.Though at times they may make a mistake on your trade but if you know your right very well and can construct an instructions in a very great way whereby mere showing to anyone in the world will still make you clearly understood with no iota of vagueness then you call always win Investment one by the lucidness of ur instruction or mandate sent to them to claim for proper correction of any error made o n ur instruction or money and Investment one will do the neccessary correction(d firm admit to their error). Also, this firm has the best customer relation so far based on my interplay with them for like 1.5yrs now. Also has good customercare desk with fine fine voices of young queens rolleye.
grin Correct Guy.

If you are to advise me, do i go ahead and start operating with them? Is it safe to enter the stock market now as a newbie?
