Delivered: 2 brand new Kenya Air Force Leonardo C-27J Spartans arriving in style at Jomo Kenyatta Int'l.

IIRC they were among 3 paid for in 2018. We're still short of transport-allowing for the usual training/maintenance/ops cycle and attrition, ideally we'd have at least a full squadron of 12 and a half squadron of Antonov codeveloped Y9s at 45 mn$ ,annual flight cost 9 mn$ (high,on par with Super Herc) that each carry max 25 T 1500 km for heavy lifting.

Edit: just noticed this on the link.

Insiders also told the Star that the state will also acquire another 737 bird this year while three will be delivered at a later date.

Successful landing of LCA mk1 via carrier based arresting gear.

LCA implements specially designed landing gear and strengthen fuselage to combat the high sink rate and impact force associated with carrier based ops.

Normal airforce fighter aircrafts will simply disintegrate due to the high impact force.

The USN was rejecting AIM 9s, early 90s,IIRC for this very reason. The high impact landings were causing such a high failure rate they rejected them.

come on jl115 , many folks dont relate finance or accounting with science an there lies the problem.. cheesy

The universal problem-none of us is as as smart as we think,as this thread has shown repeatedly since it began! A funny realistic life hack: the main ones-

7 Signs You’re Not As Smart As You Think You Are

1. You’re more of a talker than a listener.

2. You show off only the good stuff and make some up.

3. You’re always in the middle of a storm.

Just think;why the actual eff would a Boer try to tell us Boers and Africans were friends from the get go and Johnnie Brit was the bad guy while denying his kept thousands of slaves and instituted hardline apartheid!?

This quote from Bezos encapsulates the issue:
As Jeff Bezos says, "The smartest people are constantly revising their understanding, reconsidering a problem they thought they'd already solved. They're open to new points of view, new information, new ideas, contradictions, and challenges to their own way of thinking."

Its that time again, the Las Vegas Shot Show is here again!

A totally revolutionary new pistol, the Alien from Laugo Arms of the Czech republic. Its a cleansheet design, not a rebuild or upgrade of a CZ or 1911 type. A low bore axis makes it faster to shoot by reducing recoil also giving it a flatter shape making civilian carry that much easier.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeQsMZREvP8

Eagerly waiting to see it in the bigger .40,.357 Sig and 10 mm!

Edit:

I knew this tactical innovation came with a price,obviously,but-

Alien
Manufactured by: Laugo Arms
Starting at: $5,999.00
Sold Out
http://www.tacticalimports.ca/alien-p-534.html

TOTAL PACKAGE PRICE: $5,000

Secure your Signature Edition now with a 50% deposit of $2,500
https://lancer-systems.com/product/laugo-alien-signature-edition-pistol-50-deposit/

So the Laugo Alien, being imported and sold by Lancer Systems, is the best handgun I have ever shot. Unfortunately the first 500 Signature Edition guns are $5,000, so I’m pretty much crushed.

So since when are the Dutch my people??......... Now you are rambling on about the atrocities of some European country that has nothing to do with me.....

My people a Boer people, and thus cannot be held accountable for the atrocities of other countries simply because they look similar. My whole argument was specifically related to the conquest of South Africa........ So now that you have no argument you start shifting the goal posts including atrocities not even committed by Boer people.

Also btw getting to your last point:
-Genocide committed by Africans on other Africans

- half a million people died during the Second Congo War..... Fought between Black Africans

- 300 000 people were murdered during the reign of Idi Amin in Uganda

-and 500 000 by his successor Milton Obote

- the mass murder of pygmies in the Congo

- 50 000 people died during conflicts in S. Sudan

- Boko Harm

- Al shabab

Should i carry on?

You've been repeatedly yelping Boers aren't Brits-as if it makes a difference!? Your genetic impulses are identical: you've done very very effed up things!. Within 3 decades of Jan Riebeeks landing at the Cape his settlers were taking Khoisan slaves-do you deny this? In fact in the 1830s when Johnny Brit banned slavery all over their territories including the Cape Boers trekked to remain with their slaves-true or false?

The 2nd Congo war was about pyschologically white Africans,Tutsis and their superiority complex, sadism and the urge to dominate. They're the same behind Idi Amin's killings-he was another Adolf Hitler-A TRUE PATRIOT! He never did a fraction of the ishyt he was accused of though your tribe will insist he was a cannibal. Like Obote before and after him he trusted Tutsis and employed them in security/intel whre they royally screwed him.
Btw,2 Baganda buddies from Luwero, the epicentre of the 1980s mass killings independently told me it was actually M7's NRA rebels who slaughtered their people.
S Sudan sparked off when the Sudanese grew tired of discrimination of the Arab North-btw,they're not considered true Arabs by the Gulf dwellers. That war ended in 2005. The only tarmac in the entire South was a severely potholed 4 km stretch in Juba when I was there May 2007. The latest war began when the CIA bribed Riek Machar to start ishyt and undermine China's oil investments. Jean-Fraude is behind BH-everyone knows this! Somali clan leaders and Gulf royalty fund Al Shabab though there's indirect Israeli influence.

it is only in East Africa that you people kill Albinoes to do you stupid stuffs.

Whatever you claim to be witchcraft is what is refer to as Ancestral worship.

To perform certain worships, sometimes you require blood which can be any kind of blood.
It all depends on what you want.

You can also go and learn about the healing part of ancestral worship and how early medical practitioners in Europe were accused of practising sorcery and killed

More lies! If you had an IQ of at least 70 you wouldn't even bring up this topic. Like every PTSS society you lead in this particular atrocity.

I think its true knowing how systemically effed up the socioculture is in such places.

Mass hysteria is sweeping through the East Ada community of Dzetrokorpe after the unannounced death of a known ritual killer circulated in town sparking rumours of human sacriface to bid him farewell.

Most people are afraid to go out of their rooms especially at night, a resident who pleaded anonymity, told the Ghana News Agency.

A local opinion leader who also pleaded anonymity, said, ” A known ritual killer is dead and his people have to perform rituals as part of his burial and funeral rites and so they have refused to announce the death of the person.”

According him,”This Friday, it is believed that every ritual will have to be performed.
Please, everyone who stays around Tetsonya, Gorm and Angornya should watch their movements well. Dont walk alone.”

Spirit Child: Ritual Killings in Ghana
Anas Aremeyaw Anas investigates the ritual killings of Ghanaian children deemed to be possessed by evil spirits.

Every year an unknown number of children - most of them disabled in some way - are murdered in northern Ghana because of the belief that they are in some way possessed by evil spirits set on bringing ill fortune to those around them.

The practice is the consequence of ancient traditions and customs and is shaped by poverty and ignorance in remote and often marginalised communities. No one knows the exact number of these ritual deaths across Ghana, Benin, Burkina Faso and parts of Nigeria, but some believe it could be in the thousands.

For years, NGOs and the Ghanaian authorities have tried advocacy and education in an attempt to eradicate the practice but with only marginal success. Well into the 21st century, Ghana's so-called spirit children are still being killed because they carry the blame for the misfortunes of everyday life.
One question at a time besides I think we ready covered this in last 5000 pages with Nigeria.I see you're desperately trying to divert attention from Ghana.Remove minerals and oil..what do you export..cocoa beans? You want to compare yourself with Kenya that has solid macro economics, prudent financial management including debt management and is winning the war against poverty when she is 89 % semi arid and has no minerals. That rich coming from aid dependant natural resource IMF colony whose citizens are immigrating enmasse.Kenya tea production has risen to be global leader on the back of small holder farmers with our Kenya Tea Dev Agency paying nearly a billion dollars annually to farmers. Mombasa tea auction is world biggest with tea from all over Africa sold there. The same is replicated in horticulture where Kenya vegetables dominate supermarket shelves of Europe and Middle East.We lead Africa in export of apparels & textiles to the US.We lead Africa in intra-africa trade. We are one of Africa biggest source of foregn investment outside South Africa with our companies spread all over SSA. We have 20k road network in a country where 2/3 of it is hardly populated and existing road network is good enough. In the last 15 yrs our economy has grown from 15b to 100b and nothing suggest that growth rate is about to stop..so another 15yrs our economy will most likely be worth 600B.. certainly in 3-4 yrs we will overtake Morocco to sit just below Algeria. We have one of Africa most educated professional force and MNC are choosing Nairobi over Joburg for that reason as their Africa HQ or entry point. We are nailing demographics..pop growth rate now 2.1% from 2.9% 10yrs ago..and are just about 5yrs from entering a demographic transition of more adults than kids that will further fuel our economic growth. Our cities certainly look way better than any of your shanties including Accra. Surely it is very rich for an IMF colony like Ghana that has tried to rebase itself from one Africa poorest country to where it is now but has not managed to handle hyperinflation and currency deprication..a country that depends on AID and is one year from another economic meltdown.Your best highway is a gift from George bush for being the whims. Our advice..learn from Kenya, diversity your economy, formalize your economy and join the modern world. You live just across the US and you cannot take advantage of AGOA that allow duty free quota free imports of 600 items from Africa? Your big idea is to bring back the messed up African Americans to Ghana? How can they help Ghana when they are the dregs in their countries? The year of return for the scum of earth back to motherland indeed
Ouch! Really we should sometimes question things deeper when looking at the undeniable sad predicament of Black America. A casual look shows:
-under equipped schools
-higher crime rates
-poor housing

Once you notice this and look deeper you notice almost EVERY BLACK URBAN AREA IS SURROUNDED BY A THOROUGHFARE. Btw, this is true in the East coast, the South,Kali and even the smaller mid West cities !
Once you ask-how did that happen is when you begin to understand the monumental multi generational full spectrum war against Black America.

I see you're as cantankerous as ever when the topic of Ghana is broached. Once again don't get your knickers in a twist and lets leave the nitpicking for a minute and focus on the elephant in the room.

Let me try a different approach. Oil versus Cocoa.Ghana export oil worth 5B dollars. Ghana export Cocoa worth half of that - 2.5B dollars.Ghana government get a clean 1B dollars - in royalties and taxes - and very small portion of that oil end up in real economy outside gov coffers.I am going to assume that 2.5B dollars of Cocoa - your gov get very little if any taxes. I don't think any sane gov can tax farmers.

Which industry do you think will develop Ghana more - Cocoa (at half the oil production) or Oil?

The answer is obvious COCOA - all the 2.5B dollars of cocoa money is kept locally & multiplied or circulated- while only 1B dollars of Oil really circulate to the economy. And it doesn't even circulate efficiently - it goes to gov coffers- and we know "all" govs are not efficient distributors of wealth. Pray they don't steal.

The answer is what ails NIGERIA - that has earned a trillion dollars from Oil - and has nothing to show for it - except shanty towns

That's why it's impossible for them to believe the enormous effect of 1.5 bn USD annually spread directly among 350k farmers.

Welcome to the Kumasi takeaway!

Many people here urinate and defecate into plastic bags. They then throw these “flying toilets,” or “takeaway,” into gutters or trash dumps. Other open defecators may be more covert operators, doing their business bare-bottomed in drains or on rubbish piles late at night and early in the morning.

Open defecation occurs because residents may not have toilets in their homes, or may not have easy access to toilets when commuting within Kumasi

reporting/ghana-political-power-plays-impact-open-defecation

WITH ONLY 40% OF THE CITY HAVING ACCESS TO TOILETS WHOSE SITUATION IS WORSE? Yet they mention Kibera flying toilets so often you'd think it was a form of pre-intimacy! Like I said I blame many of their dysfunctions on centuries of selling their kin; a practice that ruined their social structures on an elemental level til today.

Go and face your study . this not a sign of inteligence.... I pass but before that take this.. ..

It is impossible to become rich on a salary alone, because every shilling that you earn is immediately taxed at a combined rate that can reach close to half of your salary or more . kenya has one of the high taxed system in Africa. you even pay for citizenship card just to meet a high revenue income so If you just hold onto that cash, it decreases in value every day due to inflation. The average idea we can rely on is per capital of the total gross domestic production of such country. being a salary earner does not make you richer than take and pay earner ... all depends on your overall economic productivity ...

We earlier established Abuja is a hollow stage set!
Some had empty swimming pools; others had mock-Tudor timbering, but were windowless and often roofless.

Like the Millennium Tower, these grandiose schemes are ruins before they are completed, bleak monuments to a city built by kleptocratic politicians on stolen land.

"I trained as an architect," Frank told me. "I have an education. But I do not have money, I don't know the right people. So I work here with my sister. In Abuja, money defines everything."
I ask him about the empty mansions lining the roads into the city.
"That is pseudo-Abuja, a false place. It's unjust - we should be living in those houses. Instead…" He gestured to the squalid lean-toFrank pulled out a CD. It was Fela Kuti's Suffering and Smiling.
"This," Frank said, as the music coiled out from an ancient hi-fi, "is the compressed statement of Nigerian society. We suffer, but we smile. Nothing will change until we get angry, until we stop smiling." that jutted from the back of the bar....

Kenya is better than South Africa

I've said it before and I'll repeat: RSA looks good in SSA. In the real world among even 2nd world nations like Brazil, Mexico or Thailand it's indices; GDP per capita, longevity etc, etc are typically African.
Also RSA had an earlier headstart in manufacturing and hi tech industries; check out their arms industry, and should be doing better.
If you're capable look at the WB Human Capacity Index to see their educational outcome. They outspend us like 2.5x yet their keeping company with you at the bottom of the educational assessment table.
If our growth continues and RSA continues to stagnate I'll happily start a new thread in 2030 discussing them.
