Lionessza6, the 'Ronadrama is as bad as I feared! The Usual Suspects have doubled down on a new variant doping you guys into the script.

South Africa has complained it is being punished - instead of applauded - for discovering Omicron, a concerning new variant of Covid-19.

The foreign ministry made the statement as countries around the world restricted travel from southern Africa as details of the spread emerged.

Just as E Europe riots against the vaxx and added lockdowns. I was afraid the 'Ronadrama would last mid term, maybe another 3 years, but knowing the mindset of the Elites get ready for this to be the new norm.
It's NOT impossible!

Imo, yes. Most people under estimate Egyptian feelings over the Nile: to them it's an EXISTENTIAL CRISIS.

The gov is srsly reviving our meat biz! WE'VE struggled FOR long since losing our ME export markets in the 80s but things are looking up. There's an ongoing meat expo involving all major gov and private sector players.

Things are looking up!

Currently, Egypt imports meat from Australia and Brazil with the average distance between the two countries and Cairo being approximately 11,000 kilometers.

A kilogram of beef in Cairo currently stands at Ksh850, which is double the price of the same quantity in Nairobi.

“There is a big market here for meat and livestock products because Egyptians eat a lot of meat,” said Jeff Otieno, the Kenyan Ambassador to Egypt.
https://www.kenyanenterprise.com/sites/caroline-kathure/article/kenya-holds-talks-with-egypt-for-kmc-to-export-meat-to-cairo//url]

Proper market research, an alien concept to Waffas who rely on the pronouncements of Nyame or Odudua. Look!

The latest research findings conducted by Kenya Markets Trust show that the country’s consumption of
meat in 2019 was 652,529 metric tonnes. with low-income earners consuming 443,720, representing 68 percent of the meat. Middle-income consumers ate 172.000 tonnes (27 percent), and high-income earners 32,760 (5 percent). Per capita consumption among high-income earners stood at 18.2 kilos annually, compared with 16.3 among middle-income earners and 10.6 for low-income earners.

Much money and many man hours went into the study but the RESULTS are clear - they know what they're talking about and can make informed decisions.
Certain countries would be guessing wildly alternately firing blanks and shooting at shadows. When meeting abject failure ofc the Oyinbo hate is at fault.

I wish I could like your post a thousand more times. This is exactly what we're saying, if you have the skills needed by South Africa, welcome home ,just respect the laws of the country. We are housing many professionals from the rest of the continent from tech guys to doctors, none of them complains of "xenophobia " that's because they're not a nuisance but people that have made themselves valuable to the host community. Unfortunately most African immigrants in SA have no needed skills ,so they resort to crime and being cheap labourers. This directly affects the poorest South Africans in two ways;1. it is them who have their children destroyed via human trafficking rings and drugs. 2. Jobs like waiters ,security, cleaners etc are now dominated by foreigners, why? Because foreigners don't care about a decent salary, and have no rights to complain to any employer, so if you employ them you get away with a lot ,you can molest them ,not pay them or simply just dismiss them for talking back at you . This is something you can't get away with the locals.

Nigerians and zimbos are the worst and they're actually the immigrants that are going to cause the next brutal attacks, especially Zimbos they're now trending every day. The arrogance and them dismissing the impact of their unwanted stay in South Africa has a lot of people breathing fire on the ground and soon they will lash out. Sane people are even on Twitter engaging these Zimbos, asking them how can South Africans help them in order to get their house in order so they can go back . Guess what they say ," this is Africa for Africans ,why dont you chase out white people " grin. Funny enough they chased out white people ,without any solid long term plan and are now waiters and car guards with their phds grin. The irony.

Why is the government of SA allowing this? They need a distraction from their incompetence and to shield the real perpetrators of evil in South Africa who are the 1% elite who have businesses all over Africa. So they need these African immigrants to shield them from the populace, while they're plundering the country, your local poor person has to deal with some criminal from Nigeria or fight with a Zimbo for menial jobs. These people won't give a dam about the real wealth of the country, they just want to survive and live in peace ,and guess who becomes their main problem now, the immigrant. So this whole thing is engineerineed from outside of the continent with greedy SA leaders and big business owners working for them . Now that the ANC was humbled during the elections, they will start using the migration issue to kiss the arses of South Africans and the migrants will suffer. That's what I meant by weaponisation of illegals in South Africa, and not just here ,look at USA and them ,even USA citizens are up in arms and they're a 1st world country, now imagine the impact of this nonsense on a developing country like SA that is surrounded by poor nations. What pisses me off is the fact that when you say this ,immigrants will say "then why don't you fight your government " grin. This is coming from people who ran away from their own governments grin grin grin. Zimbos can't even protest in their own country yet want to advise others on how to handle their own affairs grin grin. It's not just them but most of the migrant community, they're experts on SA issues and have all the solutions, but when you ask about their solutions for their homes ,they start crying hate and afrophobia grin grin grin grin grin

Sorry for the long epistle grin grin

Don't apologise! You should blog or vlog,srsly-you see things clearly.

I'm glad a lot of people in the country are waking up to the fraud called Malema, and his controlled opposition party. He is getting frustrated now and lashing out at South Africans everytime he gets the chance to grin. I think the funders want results and he can't deliver ,now he is busy fcking up Swaziland and Unfortunately our brothers over there are as gullible as his followers in South Africa, they think he is a real pan Africanists who will save them from the globalists not knowing that he is paid to deliver them to these snakes.

Remember when I said Malema was brought in for the remove Zuma project in SA?. Today under Ramaphosa he is well behaved and only chases after powerless boeres . We are being ambushed by the zionist thugs forcing us to close down our coal mines to " save the environment " grin, none of those " opposition parties" that were vocal during the Zuma administration are seen opposing this nonsense. The presence of the United nations army in KZN, and the presence of of USA army in Cape town tells me that something is about to go down in South Africa and the deliberate poisoning and under funding of the SA army is part of that plan.

Sis,as ever you see things clearly! Unlike most black people you're not emotional-our greatest failing as a people. You can at least view empirical evidence and make logical conclusions. Did you closely observe the November Steal? Black Americans had the lowest unemployment rate ever since records were kept!

Black unemployment rate falls to a record low
https://edition.cnn.com/2019/09/06/economy/black-unemployment-rate/index.html

OTOH,Biden moved for the mass incarceration of Blacks in 94.
Black Americans are in an abusive relationship with the Democratic party
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/may/22/black-americans-joe-biden-democratic-party-relationship

If you know anyone in the US they can tell you the most FKed up places are Democrat RUN. There are entire abandoned blocks in Baltimore,Detroit,Philly and big towns looking like this. The Dems have ruled them for a half century! Trump greatly improved his black vote from 8% in 2016 to at least 20% during the Steal.

Eighty percent of Black men supported Joe Biden, down slightly from Hilary Clinton’s 82 percent in 2016 but significantly down from Barack Obama’s level of support among Black men in 2012 and 2008.
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/black-men-drifted-democrats-toward-trump-record-numbers-polls-show-n1246447

I'm still convinced Biden was rigged in-all those mass 3 am vote dumps were fishy but returning to the issue:many blacks voted against the man who gave them jobs for the guy who instituted their mass incarceration by the private prison biz in support of a political system that put them in crime ridden slums for half a century!

What. The. Entire. FK

Edit: I brought up this with a cuz who thought deeply for 5 seconds and seeing Harris' future succession said: "black don't crack!"

If you lose 25% of your AF WHAT would you do? Not through hard P2P combat but via foreign sabotage eagerly assisted by a local minority in one fell swoop. This is what befell Uncle Bob mid '82.

Zimbabwean agents and SADF Special Forces operatives were involved in the attack on the Thornhill airforce base near Gweru on 25 July 1982, in which thirteen fighter trainers of the Zimbabwe Air Force were destroyed.

This same group despite Uhuru STILL enjoys near total land possession for which at LEAST 20k on both sides out of 7 mn were KIA.
At the same time safe in Brit promises of their security and Bob's POLITICAL compromises their attitudes are STILL srsly unchanged. A Shona woman attempted to enter the lucrative L Kariba crayfish fishery was informed by these same whites the business was closed to non whites. A public uproar ensued that does down.

The losing Rhodies had formed the mass murdering Renamo in Moz to put pressure on the national army which
was supporting liberation forces by providing cross border rear bases. Later they were willing proxies for these same revanchist Rhodies and IIRC the Zim army lost at LEAST 200 securing their sole rail to THE sea in Beira.

Renamo declared war on Zimbabwe in October 1986, in retaliation for a decision by President Robert Mugabe's government to send 10,000 Zimbabwean troops into Mozambique to fight alongside President Joaquim Chissano's Frelimo army and to guard a vital transportation link against rebel attacks. The first Renamo strike came on June 15, 1987, when rebels attacked and looted a northern village.

THROUGHOUT this time his erstwhile nemesis Ian Smith lived in Zim til loving to Cape Town in '05 where he died 2 yrs AFTER.
Anyway....assume you're the CinC. How WOULD you have handled such a loss? Millions WORTH of scant forex gone , a devastating destruction of precious national assets and untold political loss of face all due to a tiny easily identifiable MINORITY unable to reconcile with loss of previous privilege.
The momentuous decisions at the strategic level contrary to expert opinion here are NEVER easy!

You mean I should go and tell these hungry Zimbabweans to leave and when I tell them to leave, I send them where?”

Malema is an agent! He and the EFF are funded by a Swazi billionaire Impostor, what I call the fake Jews. Nathan Kirsch has been funding the EFF since at LEAST 2016.
In politics you sing the song of your sponsor! THAT rule applies EVERYWHERE competitive politics is practiced: Uruguay, Belgium, Mexico or here in Kenya. Kirsch is one of the 0.01% who set the agenda down South - it's NOT the ANC or the media!
These Elites are the same responsible for the 4 mn illegal immigrants who tbh are involved in MUCH criminal F'ERY EVEN without mentioning the "Hardworking tribe."
Zimbos do snatch and grabs in the towns and many of their ex troops also do VIOLENT robberies and cash in transit jobs. Entire shanties are filled with Malawians, Mozambicans, Zimbos and Congolese.
For real its too MUCH for Saffas to bear: no nation SHOULD be expected to shoulder such a burden.

This is the universal rule of shooting be it civvy or military, hunting or sniping, regardless of distance.
I can't rmbr ever seeing a bipod directly placed under barrel like this-look at other rifles with bipod attachments and confirm.

I can't say I'm not a little taken aback by this. When Kenya was under attack during the Nairobi DusitD2 complex incident, I observed a Nigerian post here wishing Kenyans a happy death day. Okay, if that's how you folks  feel, then that's fine. But keep in mind that wishing and praying for your fellow African states to suffer as you do will not change anything in your own country.

I know you might claim sarcasm, but let's see what happens next, buddy. cheesy

Why are you surprised? On ToT we saw shocking sociocultural dysfunctions normalised among the Waffas. Child slavery is STILL practiced in MANY parts!
This has led to sociopathic tendencies incl lack of empathy, disrespect for human life and endless lying.
Look up sociopathic tendencies and see all the definitions demonstrated time and time again whenever Waffas post.

Exactly. They are okay with African Standards.
Look at their scientific and industrial capacity: its 2nd world, though they're in certain fields restricted to the 1st world! A decade ago they began coproducing missile parts with Brazil.

Collaboration programmes between South Africa and Brazil could be the basis for future contracts of a similar nature pending the completion of the A-Darter air-to-air missile contract, said Brazilian Minister of Science and Technology, Aloízio Mercadante during a visit to Denel Dynamics this week.
https://www.defenceweb.co.za/industry/industry-industry/more-hi-tech-collaboration-between-sa-and-brazil//url]

They have BOTH the scientific software and hardware of a Brazil. They've the cadre and tooling for example to build domestic gunships like the Rooivalk, indigenous but for its engines, a major achievement even for a European nation.

Looking for the all important innovation stats typically they do well for Africa.

Mauritius emerged the most innovative African country in a recent ranking. The island nation placed 52nd amonf 132 countries globally.
Mauritius, unlike most African countries, has a high human development score. Its economy has grown robustly in the last half a century, especially on financial services, tourism and information technology.

It was followed by South Africa (61), Tunisia (71) and Kenya (85) in terms of innovation, according to the 15th edition of the Global Innovation Index (GII 2021) released September 21, 2021.

https://www.downtoearth.org.in/news/africa/mauritius-ranks-first-in-africa-in-global-innovation-index-2021-79139

By BRICS standards they're lagging a little. India is 46, Brazil 57. As for the Waffas, just KNOW THEY'RE in usual territory of a 100+.

How much do you think South Africa makes from hunting; and from Safaris? It seems to be less than 100M dollars. I bet Safaris bring more money.

South Africa has biggest hunting industry - the figures are grim - not even 1 percent of what safari/photography tourism generates.

Trophy hunting accounts for a fraction of the R323 billion that tourism contributed to South Africa’s GDP in 2013. About 8,500 trophy hunters visit South Africa each year, compared to around 9.5 million tourists.

The 2006 Biological Conservation paper estimated “a minimum of 18,500” hunters participated in hunts annually in sub-Saharan Africa (generating revenue of around US$201 million), compared to World Bank estimates of around 33.8 million visitors in 2012, earning the region US$36 billion.
https://africacheck.org/fact-checks/factsheets/factsheet-how-much-does-hunting-contribute-african-economies

I saw recent figures around 300 mn $ yearly for SA alone. I can't find them now Idk why. Also what happens in Kenyan or anywhere else when the environment CAN'T sustain a certain population, be it predators or herbivores; ie it's carrying capacity is surpassed and the budget for HUGELY expensive translocation exercises involving 3 helos, a front end skidder and 2 40 ft trailers ISN'T available?
THEY CULL!? Reduce the specific species to a sustainable level- by shooting with rifles.

Another battle where a pal lost his bro Lt Webi.

On January 22, 2012, Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldiers were sent to liberate Hoosingo, a town in south Somalia. The force was expected to link up with Somalia’s Transitional Federation Forces (TFG) for the task.
At 2200 hours, the officer commanding the team radioed that his men had run into an Al-Shabaab ambush. A two-hour battle ensued.
https://hiiraan.com/news4/2012/Oct/26474/the_battle_for_hoosingo.aspx

Ishyt nearly went wayyyyyy South!

After the first two hours, Major Father Makau told Lt Col Nyaga that the ammunition was running out.

“I called my second in command and told him to deploy anyone, including the cooks, for reinforcement and to move supplies from Dobley (sector headquarters) to Hoosingo,” Lt Col Nyaga recalled during KDF day celebrations last week. Lt Col Nyaga also turned to his friend and former training colleague at the Kenya Military Academy, Lt Col Omenda for aerial support.

Lt Col Omenda, the pilot of a helicopter gunship, made a brave decision that would have cost him his job if anything had gone wrong.

Although the gunship was required to have at least one fighter helicopter for support and protection, Lt Col Omenda decided to fly in alone. With about 100 men staring death in the face, there was no time to think about job security.

Again, leadership and quick CAS, in this case a lone Z 9W,the Z 9 gunship version saved the day.

In what is now known as the battle for Hoosingo, about 100 KDF men fought an estimated 500 to 800 Al-Shabaab fighters. “We shot, shot,
and shot until we got tired. The more we wounded, the more reinforcements they brought in,” remembers Major Father Makau.

The battle lasted six hours and 20 minutes and almost 400 Al-Shabaab fighters were buried in the next days.

“The stench of death was overwhelming,” said a private.

This guy could be a relative on Mum's side! The name and bone structure is common in Kinoo, some 20 km west of Nairobi-I'll check. Anyway his story involves typical SOPs (Standard OPerating Procedure) of warfighting, iow the universal TTPs, Tactics,Techniques and Protocols of armies worldwide.

Though the attack cost him both legs and interrupted what would have been an illustrious career in the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), Major Alex Hinga says nothing can stop him from serving his country.

He was leading a platoon of 39 soldiers during a routine patrol on the supply route between Kolbio and Badaade, 40 kilometres from the two countries’ border when his armoured personnel carrier (APC) hit by an explosive.

There is a good reason why Algeria is moving more toward the West, for 50 years Algeria bought arms from the Russians, but during this period the Russians never granted Algeria the right to manufacture weapons , But during the short period of cooperation with the West .. we find today 3 German companies in Algeria, Mercedes Benz for trucks and engines, Hansoldt for electronic systems and Rheinmetall Defense for armored vehicles ... As for Italy, by 2025, the Augusta Westland Algeria plant will start assembling and manufacturing Leonardo helicopters. In Algeria..and the same goes for China and Serbia and UAE, who are transferring defense technology to Algeria...So what did the Russians give Algeria During those years?
Leonardo-Finmeccanica and the Algerian Ministry of National Defence to establish a joint company to manufacture helicopters

Leonardo speeds up Sétif helicopter project
Italian manufacturer Leonardo is betting on the fourth quarter of 2021 for the arrival of its first "made in Algeria" helicopter, which is being built in partnership with the Armée Nationale Populaire. Nearly four years after signing a partnership contract with the Armée Nationale Populaire (ANP), Leonardo is pulling out all the stops to get its future helicopter factory in Sétif off the ground. Construction finally began last June and is now moving rapidly ahead. Structural work on the second hangar was completed in early January, three months after the roof of the main building was finished. The tarmac which will accommodate the future aircraft is almost ready. Nine annex buildings are also under construction. Leonardo Helicopters Algeria, led by Benjamin Farina, Leonardo's sales director for North Africa, and chaired by Mouloud Belhadj, head of Algeria's Etablissement de Développement des Industries Aéronautiques (ADIE), is due to produce its first chopper in the fourth quarter of this year. The joint venture will produce the AW169 light helicopter, the medium-lift AW101 and AW139 versions, and the latter's military version, the AW149. Initially, they are exclusively intended for the ANP, police and gendarmerie forces, and civilian security units. The military market could however be smaller than expected. After years of increases, this year's national defence budget has been set at 1,200bn dinar, unchanged from 2019 and 2020. But due to the devaluation of the dinar, in real terms it now represents just $9bn at the current exchange rate, which is $1.2bn less than last year (Africa Intelligence, 09/01/20)

How's Russian after sales service for your Sues? Nemesis mentioned it was a struggle bringing tears to the IAF getting them to fulfill this clause of the contract.

Kenyan Ambassador to DRC visit to Beni, DRC gives us a sneak peek into KDF's QRF serving under MONUSCO FIB..
NB: [2nd guy from left, looks like he is pumped, ready for some action]

I SMFH every time DRC news comes up!

The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is widely known to be the wealthiest country in the world, in untapped resource wealth and has an estimated US$24 trillion in untapped mineral deposits,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mining_industry_of_the_Democratic_Republic_of_the_Congo

Imo, another country should be allowed to take over the ENTIRE landmass in exchange for security and development for min 30 or even 50 yrs. Said nation is free to dexploit ALL AND ANY NATURAL RESOURCES. That wuld be better than what they're suffering now.

"The Combatmate multi-purpose combat vehicle, developed by the Polish WB Group in cooperation with the South African company Bruisertech, had its premiere at the XXIX International Defense Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce, Poland.

The vehicle is based on the armored, mine-resistant Bruiser 212 and will be offered in a reconnaissance version for uniformed services and as a carrier for unmanned systems.

According to the WB Group, it is a modular platform, cost-effective, easily adaptable to the user's needs, equipped with solutions of the Polish group. The presented vehicle was integrated with the FONET vehicle communication system, the TOPAZ battlefield management system and the COMP @ N and PERAD radio communication systems.

The variant of the car presented in Kielce is also equipped with a stabilized, remotely controlled Arex ZSU-03 weapon station, equipped with a 12.7 mm large-caliber M2HB machine gun, four smoke grenade launchers and reusable Warmate-TL (Tube Launch) loitering ammunition launchers..."

Good clearance;another excellent Saffa MRAP which leads me to a logical question: how many MRAP makers exactly are there? I can name OTT,Paramount,DCD,Denel and Milkor and there should be at another 10 building off prevous success of predecessors. At what point does market saturation come into play?

Flanker:

to tell you the truth, there is a certain hypocrisy in Algeria concerning this subject, if you ask in the street many will tell you that France is a former colonizer who killed millions of Algerians and stole our land for 132 years, committed the worst atrocities and methods of exterminating in mankind ect.... , in the school we fill the heads of children that France is the enemy, history studies of the war against france occupies 90% of history lessons from primary to high school , we dont study french history or even other countries history they quickly pass on some old civilizations , school history lessons are more like a propaganda than true history lessons , to strengthen the control of the old dinosaurs who rule us since 1962 because they supposedly waged the war of independence. And still have the rhetoric of a former combatant against france to try to have a certain legitimacy.

Our national anthem written during the war of independence mention until now days france by name as an enemy.

but in fact. Now days and since the independency , when you see stats, France is the first economic and commercial partner of Algeria, thousands of Algerians each year emigrate legally and illegally in France and most poeple dream of having residence or citizenship in France, . for exemple 25% of the total of foreign doctors practicing in France are Algerians.

most of the politicians who hypocritically display hatred against France have bank accounts and property in France, they spend their vacation in France. when they are sick they go to take care of themselves in France hospitals (the presidents included , like ex-president bouteflika , he had no confidence in our hospitals , fearing of being assassinated or his medical secrets exposed to public , he had much more confidence in France.

In our daily life , we speak French as a second language. in administration , french is used in the same way as Arabic in official papers even if french is not part of the official languages of algeria .

At university level, the French language is used exclusively in scientific fields and 90% of all studies . All our laws, administrative organization, it's copied paste from French laws .
the largest community of algerians with dual nationality living abroad lives in france. ( 3 to 4 millions people of Algerian origin live in France)

to summarize the closest country to Algeria in terms of economy, culture, population, politics is France. in fact, Algeria is much closer to France than it is to neighboring countries, Arabs or Africans , despite the hypocrisy displayed and empty speech. Maybe a stockholm syndrome

Maybe the Maghreb isn't included in Paris's neocolonial chokehold over their ex colonies but its REAL!

Out of these inauspicious origins came the CFA Franc, a twin set of French-backed currencies used by eight West African countries and six Central African countries.

Countries using CFA Francs are required to store 50% of their currency reserves with the Banque de France, and the currencies are pegged to the euro.

https://www.theafricareport.com/20326/the-french-colonial-tax-a-misleading-heuristic-for-understanding-francafrique/

See what Italy's ex Deputy PM said:
“If we have people who are leaving Africa now it’s because some European countries, and France in particular, have never stopped colonizing Africa.”Di Maio said France’s policies in Africa are causing people to migrate from the continent, a comment which angered Paris.
https://thisisafrica.me/politics-and-society/italys-deputy-prime-minister-says-france-creates-poverty-in-africa/

Rmbr, also Jean-Fraude has instigated coups from the beginning just after independence with an ex-FFL trooper in Togo in 1963,Africa's first, btw. Gabon, the CAR,Burkina Faso, etc, etcalmost every former colony. Civil wars have almost always accompanied French resource grabs. Congo Brazzaville's 1997-99 case was typical. Prez Lissouba won and France feared loss of Elf Aquitiane's deliberately under valued oil fields quickly armed loser Sassou Nguesso and provided training for his Cobra militia.
After 2 yrs and 30 k dead he was back in power-fyi,Africa's militarily weakest are French. Even relatively developed Cote de Ivoire had no AF of its own in 2004 allowing easily bribed Belarussian flyguys to be comprised into a casus belli allowing an unwinnable shooting war for France. I've seen pix of people here squealing at Ivorean 'specops' !? For laughs check out their army equipment-they operate a coy of T 55s!

Stargate254:
The Ship Yard facility U/C in Mombasa appears to be bigger than the one in Kisumu, Also Damen was contracted to provide technology support for the project.

The new slipway shipyard at Mtongwe Navy Base, which will be able handle vessels with a capacity of up to 4,000 tones and measuring 150 metres long and 30 metres wide

I haven't heard anything new since mid last year but I'd have thought they'd begun actual construction. I was told Sigma class were to be built.

https://products.damen.com/en/ranges/sigma-frigate-and-corvette

Could be a couple of corvettes before scaling up to frigates but tbh I'm clueless.

Been parsing some data and I can confidently declare by the next census a decade from now Ugandans will outnumber us! At roughly 48.5 mn now and a growth rate of 2.5 they're at 43.5 mn growing at 3.2.
https://www.ceicdata.com/en/uganda/population-and-urbanization-statistics/ug-population-growth
https://www.ceicdata.com/en/kenya/population-and-urbanization-statistics/ke-population-growth

They'll surpass or equal us by 2031,latest. The good thing is they've no weather issues, being perpetually green throughout the south with a;lmost half the surface area seeming to be lake, river or wetland, while the north is savanna with some ASAL zones in the NE. Land, therefore is cheap averaging a fraction of our own farm land.
