A lot of Nigerians are landing at Julius Nyerere International Airport daily to enjoy this beautiful country. Is Nigeria all about Crime? Nothing positive over there? |

virago: Thank you. I know nobody in Lagos
Will be staying in Hotel and explore the bustling city for four days. Any recommendation please for places to visit. My interests are city sightseeing, night life, visiting museums, local markets buying some mementos etc
Do you have people you're gonna stay with ? You should have no problems , Nigerian isn't that violent during elections as you may have been made to believe. Pack up your bags and be my guest , E kabo |

Hellow members! Habari!
I am from Tanzania planning to visit West African capitals of Accra, Lome, Cotonou and Lagos in March next year. My plan is to fly to Accra, spend some few days, then travel by road to Lome, Cotonou and Lagos, thereafter, fly out from Lagos.
My concern is specifically on the timing of my adventure, for i have learnt that you will be having elections around February. I don't know much about your democracy but i know elections in Sub Saharan Africa are always associated with some disputes.
Should I proceed with my travel arrangements? For March is the only time I will be having my vacation.
I thank you in advance. |

omoiyamayor: Tanzania is frustrating I was there for a month, many Nigerians are suffering there just walking around.u can buy bread with 50000.but TZ is good for visit Don't mislead people! How can you buy bread for almost 24 USD? In fact, food stuffs are cheapest in TZ, especially in big cities such as Dar. Welcome all to Tz, the land of Kilimanjaro Mountain and Serengeti National Park. |

dabrunzy: Hello all,
So i got an admission letter into studying an advanced Msc at the University of Antwerp and also got an admission letter to study a preparatory english language course before the Master program proper. Am about to submit my visa application at the embassy and some friends are of the opinion that i shouldnt introduce the preparatory language admission letter for fear that i may be denied a visa based on inadequate language proficiency. they assume the embassy may ask me to stay back and study english in my country. Personally i feel its important to include the language program admission letter bc my last studies were done in french and the embassy may consider this as inappropriate. I would be very grateful if u can advice me accordingly on what to do exactly There is no problem at all submitting all documents. In fact, the University is the one that determines student's language proficiency and not the embassy. Do you have a scholarship from the University or Belgian Government? If you have it, nothing to worry about. |
