Other southerners should speak up against this yoruba wickedness because the north can think we are in support of what he is doing and they hold it against us tomorrow. The people of SE and SS and middle belt should speak up
Politics › Re: Tinubu’s Body Language Shows He’s Not Interested In Security – Northern Elders by killsmith(f):
WorldRichest:
YES, you are right. If he is interested in Security, he would have been in Sambisa Forest fighting Boko Haram with Juju and hunters' gun.

Ogun go kill una Mama. If you like, you can wipe out your whole generation, we Yorubas are only interested in Owambe Parties, and the City Boy is just doing as we want. If your useless son Muhammadu Buhari who calls himself a Major General could not fight Boko Haram, Bandits, Kidnapers, e.t.c., is it the City Boy Emilokan Tinubu that will fight them?

Expect more bombs to be dropped anywhere at anytime. Your population is too much. We will reduce it. E no go better for all of una
You insult him like he does not have a right to an opinion.
Tomorrow you open your mouth and say yorubas are respectful.

It's utterly foolishness trying to stop people's culture, people's way of life. Who does that? Ogun indigenes should not in anyway accept this fóolish act by the state government. It's an insult to their culture.

I sense jealousy around especially from nairaland men. Bad belle plenty. A virgin woman with quality feminine traits, is a high value woman.

As for the men against virgins, here is my advice: pick up one of the those whores in the street and wife her up, then also train your female child to become a LovePeddler so that you can be proud of her as well, at least to emulate her mother[your wife].

Generation of men with poor and absolutely poor standard!
Thing about wifing a refurbished LovePeddler is that, On your wedding day, several men will congratulate you publicly and pity you inwardly.

Even if you guys want to continue with the stupidity started yesterday, don't deteriorate to the point of expressing imaginations.

Do you realise in Benin, there are communities and quarters that were handed over to former slaves after the abolishment of slave trade, and a number of these communities were mainly Yorubas who are now Binis? I'm sure you've never heard any Edo mention this, because we believe in dignity and respect of others.
You can inquire from any knowledgeable Yoruba who lives in or has a good knowledge of Edo. They go tell you.

Do you know Yorubas made up the 2nd largest (some data even argue the highest) number of slaves who emerged from 'Nigeria'?

Desist from writing fables or matters you know nothing about.
During the 100 years kiriji wars the yorubas raided themselves. Egba vs ijebu, ife vs modakeke etc. They kidnapped and sold each other as slaves only to use the proceeds of the sales to purchase horses for their army.

Nothing good about monarchy except if it's just honorary. I see monarchy as ancient culture just kept for the sake of cultural preservation already overtaken by modernity. It's just like staying stuck in mud house
Monarchy is backwardness. Worshipping a man born, eat, shit breathe and die like you. I can't believe people advocate for this rubbish in this modern quantum age.

Tzar:
Whoever is too lazy to research history should STFU.
There was mainland Yoruba land that spanned current SW Nigeria, Kwara, parts of Kogi, most of Benin Republic and parts of Togo.
Lagos island (isale eko) which was first named internationally by portuguese and later explored by the English is 5-10% of current Lagos. This part was initially inhabited by very few wandering Yorubas from the mainland. Most of This parts was sacred uninhabited land used to worship OLOKUN and to do some sacrifices from Yoruba mainalanders.
When the FREED SLAVES that still remember thIer Yoruba heritage requested to come back yo Africa , they were dumped on LAGOS ISLAND.
When mainlanders invaded them, they requested Benin king to help them. This king from the last child of Odudwa who felt marginalized, sent warriors who conquered land for the helpless islanders. Then they set up an outpost called Eko. But when the rest of Yorubaland decided to challenge this, the Benin monarchy decided to relinquish total authority, but demand homage from the EKO (lagos island) king. Until this was stopped much later.
This was the history!
Everything you wrote here is trash because the word yoruba did not exist then. Yoruba was a creation of a popular yoruba historian.

The earliest point of your history is ife and can be dated to the 16th century. The bini have been trading with the Portuguese since the 12th century and lagos was a port of trade for the bini.

Bini is far older than ife. Meaning they are your fathers.
