Let me tell you very plainly what I told kimco until I had too much to do to keep tracking plotholing and asspulling arguments all over the place: a story is poor when by the end of it there is anything that the teller does not account for. What is wrong with a story when there are plausible explanations offered by the teller for things in it? What have you and kimco offered as a plothole here that has not been explained in at least one plausible way?

Plus the story is not finished. What kind of intelligence does anyone need to know that until a story is finished, there can really not be plotholes? Plotholes are truly unexplained events or features in a story. And if a story is still being told how do you know that they will not be explained? By what characteristic can you tell when something CANNOT possibly be explained at all even by the end of the story?

Making chibaku tensei is not remarkable in itself: Madara made those "big, hard raindrops" that he tried to kill Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi and Sakura with. There were lots of them in a short time and they were massive. But to immobilize the beasts and imprison them in chibaku tensei is something truly remarkable.

There is no level of intelligence that Hidan could have pulled up against shikamaru because
1. He wasn't strong enough to compensate
2. He actually doesn't have the experience of fighting someone like shikamaru.
