What rule of law has he broken? His case is not one to defend but in a free society what rule of law or section of the law did he break Did he force the girls to do it. They were probably paid for thier service |

you must be a learner. you want to quit because they are making you do electical job when you are a mech student.this has got to be the most stupid statement I have heard. I read Elect Engineering up till masters sef...guess what I do today? I work in the bank doing a lot of programming, analytics, automation while learning a lot on finance. I have been in finance now for 6 yrs and working in the bank was the best thing that happened to me. This is life...who is to tell where the skills u r learning today will take u in life. Our current minister for works housing etc is a lawyer by training he was also once a governor. he did not learn public adminisration to handle these offices. he is relying on education built by life experiences with his law degree as his foundation. Trnasportation minister i believe did English. You are getting educated to apply knowledge to help where u find ur self not being dogmatic ah as a mech engineer i cant do this or that. The last UK chancellor of exchequer read history(not 100% sure) but he was on sit to drive one of the worlds biggest economy ur Mech Engineering is just a base its not meant to be the be all. when Nigerians start to relaise this then we stop looking down at what people read but what they can offer to society |
Na Fayose stomach infrastructure be that. he is too young to be carrying stomach like that.

One last thing....how many people in university today in Nigeria know about the stock market and how it works...I graduated as an engineer in Naija but as God would have it I was employed in an investment bank abroad based on analytical skills engineering gives one and I tell myself everyday...God directed my path as this is what I was born to do and had zero knowledge abbout it till I left the country....some kids here as young as 15 already have a keen intrest about the markets They mention borrowing money and people are shouting because they don't understand how debt financing is crucial for infrastructural development |
In business school one of the things they thought me about accessing a business idea is try to take a neural perspective and strongly list the good and bad things about a proposal or business idea. What are the good things about this strategy... Well one how many people know about the stock market in nigeria. Who do you think at this stage will better communicate the message about investing to the major demographic in nigeria. What is the level of sophistication stock market investing in Nigeria. Do you think if the NSE used thier head of communication or PR that the target demographic will listen to them Who is best suited to start this education of target audience a 45+ year old man with multiple degrees or a known celebrity hawking a product Is the encompassing strategy to slowly start letting the youths and future business owners know about the NSE and at some point transition to using experts like we see in developed countries Is the NSE trying to grow the future business audience by bringing the youths into in as potential future participants If you ask me this is a brilliant and innovative idea if what I am thinking is what they want to achieve. We must not follow the west....we must develop our strategy to meet our local environment |
as a past grad student from a Canadian university here is my advise. accept the offer as PhD is usually 5 yrs staring from bachelor and it combine 1.5-2 yr masters and 3 yr Phd. essentially you will be spending 5 yrs however if you see after 2 yrs you want to stop at MSc you can discuss with your prof and let him know you can't continue for whatever reason and would like to just get the MSc. Many Mastes student i was classmates with always went ahead and did a PhD for me I stopped at Masters. |
flawed analysis.... the most important part to valuation is future earnings discounted to today. You are missing that critical component. IMO based on future prospects of owning a news platform vs. lifespan of a musician....wizkid got noting on Linda. |

Not a fan of oliseh but when will Nigeria do the right thing and pay its workers on time It is not a normal practice to owe ur workers |
Everyone knew Dangote was rich however he really became rich when he listed on the Nigerian stock exchange and only then did people properly. Value the future money he is expected to make and buy his stock My argument is simple those looking at today's earning power to say wizkid is richer miss the point. Wizkids business has a shelf life. Linda is actually just starting out. In the next 5-7 yrs no one will care about wizkid |
Wealth is not today's money but a cummulation of future money brought to toady. Using this measure wizkid and dbanj have a shelf life that will expire. Linda's business is actually just starting |
Here is why Linda is richer. First u measure wealth with sustainability. Linda has a franchise that will almost perpetually generate free cash flow(income). Linda is also number 1 in her industry..making her a market leader..hence the ability to charge premium price for advertisement. Linda has ability generate more income even while she is sleeping and I say that because when she produces content it is consumed by her fans world wide..allowing her earn income from Google adsense all the time. Why Wizkid even though he may be generating more cash flow now (may not even be the case but for argument sake let's assume he is)is not richer. Wizkid has a shelf life. He will expire in the next 5yrs..look at dbanj no one cares about him today. Once u expire as a musician ur earning per show goes down. Music which Wizkid produces today is heavily pirated so he does not make much from royalty. Wizkid actually needs to work(aka go to shows) to make money. Wizkid has a lot of competition. He is not number one in his industry. Also Wizkid has to compete with comedians who share same entertainment space with him. Linda if she chooses to can expand her franchise using the huffingtonpost model.. for Wizkid there is no ability to expand if we use other musical stars as a reference point. So folks measuring who is richer is not only by who is making more moeny today but who has abilty to create more wealth in the future. Linda in my opinion is far richer than wizkid. Mark my word if wizkid does not invest what he is making in his prime now..u will see him like we see you other musicians who made money come to beg for money in the future |
ask your self this question-if your current boss sees someone who is 3 times cheaper than you and as productive as you do you think he will think twice about not firing you. Your goal in life is to futher your gains, Always put your self first above any company. I once had a boss almost come to tears when I was leaving did not care one bit. Your goals and gains should always be number 1 never any company you dont own. |
overall--8.5/10. Next time stick with a conservative tie. -1 (suggestion: Plain colored tie no strips, stars or banner.) Also a dark grey suit or navy blue suit would do -0.5 In going for a job interview you want to be neutral so you get judged for your ability. |

probably not if I got N100 every time I heard the question, “How can a country blessed with one of the largest reserves of crude oil be importing fuel?”, I would be a millionaire. That question is built on the idea that a country that has crude oil should naturally be refining crude oil. It turns out that is not the case as we are learning the hard way. The reasoning is very simple. To understand this let us examine a simplified oil industry as in figure 1 below. source: https://nonsoobikili./2015/05/10/refineries-refineries-refineries/?utm_content=buffer0fc5f&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer |
TI1919:dude the issue is not building such an edifice in bayelsa. the big issue is the business cant survive there and so its a waste of money. if she stole the money at least put it to good use somewhere it can generate employment and positive cash flow. if she must build something in bayelsa pbut something viable and profitable for the business environment |
misterh:I think this is one of the problems with money that is not your own especially in Nigeria. No assessment or business planning is done Its a clear case of I want to build it in bayelsa because it is my home. Before a place like this is built financials to show it as possible has to be simulated and run to satisfy many risk measure many many times before go ahead. But NO money dey let me invest people will come Hotel like this is a waste and money pit. the money generated from running the place will not even be able to do constant maintenance and renovation when needed. % of revenue has to go back into repairs yearly. that's why these hotels when they first launch them its a wonder to behold come back in 5 yrs its a disaster. Already prices have already reduced to 50%. its clear where this is headed. |
ifyan:foreign papers like Financial Times and WSJ have credibility to protect. its very difficult(not impossible) for them to put in wrong information compared to saharareporters |
ifyan:Bro this one no be saharareport talk am oh na Financial Times of UK-the most respected business paper in the UK. the equivalent of the US Wall Street journal. Link was pasted for you to read and confirm too. |

The Aridolf hotel in Yenagoa is an unlikely monument to kitsch on a reclaimed swamp in Nigeria’s oil-producing Niger delta. In the lobby, Louis XIV furniture is accompanied by bowls of plastic fruit, faux Dutch landscapes and a grotesquely gaudy chandelier. The hotel is redolent of the riches on display in a region that for half a century has generated the bulk of Nigeria’s wealth.source: http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/e90265be-e43e-11e4-9039-00144feab7de.html#axzz3YX0njxNN https://www.aridolfhotels.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/W0A4407.jpg https://www.aridolfhotels.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/W0A44332.jpg https://www.aridolfhotels.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/W0A43281.jpg https://www.aridolfhotels.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/W0A4285-e1414621545743.jpg https://www.aridolfhotels.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/W0A4293.jpg |
