The protest shouldn't be on ENDSARS anymore but rather ENDBADGOVT.

There is hunger in the land. I dont support further protest on ENDSARS but I call for ENDBADGOVT.

Imagine a senator or House member earning 30million a month while a Director in the civil service earn below 300k.

This is wickedness and condemnation. I wont protest again for ENDSARS but will join any protest on ENDBADGOVT.

Our senators must not earn more than 500k per month

Hussaini Coomassie, a United Nations Ambassador for Peace and Social Justice has said that the president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) ought to use force against #EndSARS protesters.

Quoting Russian president, Vladimir Putin, the ambassador said that Buhari should do what was necessary and not necessarily follow due process to ensure peace in Nigeria.

The current End SARS protests has become a problem to some areas and environments as the security of this areas is at high risks as hoodlums and criminals are using this arena or avenue to commit crimes and they are also protesting to end SARS. I really appreciate our youths for their courage in standing and defending their right for citizenship, let us be more concerns about the life and things we do. To be realistic its not not nice when you found out that a youth in Nigeria who is living in Ede, abakiliki or oron all in Nigeria connecting just to fraud some in Kansas USA and bringing the funds to the country without using it for anything exception of lavishing the fun in things that doesn't bring life , growth , and development to the country, and we're the same people protesting to end SARS and police brutality. Our government is failing us but the youths are failing government the most. Let's the youths change their mindset and the government will be reform because now I know that the youths have the power to change the government. What has the youths really done for the government?. Why I am saying all this things is that due to the on going protest in the States, some youths have started committing crimes. A day before yesterday Friday to be precisely 6 vehicles brain box were vandalized by unknown armed men at kadol ogba Ikeja local government. Imagine what we might be facing in due time.... How can we reform ourselves first before thinking about talking about ending anything because the highest problem and complaints from our youths are course by some of our youths who feels so curious and don't also have feelings to care about how others people feel. Before we burn down our dear country I also advice our youths to make a change by repenting from all our evil doings starting from Cyber crimes and physical crimes, when this happened the country will be a better place for all of us. End SARS but once you connect, make sure you protect it.

The All Progressive Party, APC has warned mischief makers to be wary of hijackers, to avoid diversionary interest in the ongoing #EndSARS protest.

The youths took to the street on Thursday, 8 October 2020 to protest across the states of the country, against intimidation and harassment from the Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS, and arm of the Nigerian Police Force.

In a statement released by the party public secretary, Hon. Seye Oladejo, the party warned the opposition party, People’s Democratic Party, PDP to steer clear of the protest and not disguise to cause mayhem because of the October by-elections in the Lagos East Senatorial district.

The statement reads;

Our attention has been drawn to the needless and irresponsible politicizing of the #ENDSARS nationwide protest by the opposition PDP.

It will be recalled that the Lagos state government since the commencement of the protest march around different parts of the state has been supportive. Mr Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu and his deputy have taken turns to address the protesters identifying with the issues at stake and assuring of the state government sympathy.

The governor, in keeping with his promise, went ahead to present the terms of the resolution of the crisis to President Mohammadu Buhari in Abuja.

In addition, the state government ensured that all the protesters arrested were released.

It is worthy of note that the most important responsibility of any worthwhile government is the protection of the lives and property of the citizens as guaranteed by the 1999 constitution.

The #ENDSARS protest seeks to enforce this provision within the ambit of the citizens fundamental human right to life and dignity. As a party, we’re all concerned about the incessant incidents of police brutality which largely remain unchecked. There’s no doubt that no one is immuned against the lawlessness of a police force trained and sustained by the tax payers money.

However, the recent turn of events at the protest today gives serious cause for concern. The attack launched by hoodlums on armless and peaceful protesters was in bad taste.

The attempt in the social media, sponsored by the opposition PDP, to hold the state government responsible is to say the least , the height of bitter politics.

However, our investigation has revealed that the PDP would like to take advantage of the spate of protest to cause mayhem because of the October by-elections in the Lagos East Senatorial district.

Our intelligence has revealed the plans to unleash further attacks on the protesters especially in the Kosofe Local Government in the days ahead.

As the ruling party, we’re mindful of our role to support the government especially as regards the citizens rights and the delivery of our electoral promises.

We wish to call on law enforcement agencies to be alive to their responsibility to protect the citizens of the state from any untoward development that can disrupt our peaceful co-existence.

By the same token, the opposition party will be well counseled to revert to issue based campaign that will make for healthy politicking.
