Since you said you have been making money installing premium wp theme sites for clients, it would have more helpful if we could actually see 1 or 2 working examples of sites you have built. But all the examples you give are offline. now why would a client pay $200 for a site and refuse to go online one full month after you upload and customize the theme? especially as you say most of your clients are desperate to have the sites.

The reason I want to see examples of your sites is because I want to see what you call premium wp themes, and how it is different from regular themes. lomzy1: We are in another season of cashew nuts business. It is time for local farmers, local agents/distributors, suppliers and exporters to make money.
A business man or a trader culd only fit into 2 of d mentioned categories. Its either u are a supplier (supplying to cashew nuts export companies in Nigeria), basically Lagos who in turn export it abroad, most of these companies are owned by indians, india is one of d largest importers and exporters of cashew nuts!!! It would be interesting to know that india produce cashew nuts but they are one of d largest importes and exporters of cashew nuts in d world. This is possible because india have a free trade agreement with most asian countries thus it is better for those countries to import from india rather than import from africa or any other country because of d import duty tariff.
Going into cashew business is not an easy task for a new beginner cos a lot of things have to be put into consideration eg,
1. Do u want to be a supplier (supplying to export companies in lagos)
2. Do u want to export yourself (selling to overseas buyers)
3. Capital requirement (how much are u willing to invest Considering the above two options, an exporter requires more capital)

What u need to know about cashew business / terms.

1. Cashew nuts are sold per ton.
2.13 bags make a ton. 30 tons make a truck / long trailer.
3. Grading or scaling : u need to know how it is measured, weighed and packaged in bags, if not u will be cheated by local agents or distributors, they will cheat u in your presence.
4. Quality or KOR : cashew nuts in nigeria are priced and negotiated based on d quality. D quality of Nigeria cashew nuts is between 42 - 54 KOR. There is a way this test is carried out by exporters, d test is physical and u could monitor it yourself but u need to have an idea/knowledge about it or else u will be cheated by these indian exporters.
5. Price ; cashew nuts price fluctuate almost every week, so u need to know d current price at every point in time.
6. Packaging: cashew nuts could be packaged in two bags only namely jute or polythene, this also determines d final price u buy from local sellers and d price Ʊ sell to exporters. Cashew nuts in jute bags are more expensive than polythene bags. Most exporters prefer it in jute bags.
7. Haulage or trucking : u need to know d price u will transport ur cashew nuts from one destination to the other, this also affects d price in a way.
8. Exporters of cashew nuts in Nigeria: they are mainly in lagos and mostly indian companies.
9. Where to get cashew nuts in Nigeria: u need to know d source of your business.
10. If u are exporting, u need to know d export duty, fob price, cnf price and freight price.

Advise : first timers, u have to be very careful abt this business, some people are using this business to defraud unsuspecting traders. Most people organize seminars and will only tell u how to make money in cashew business but they will never tell u how risky, vulnerable it is. Most of these seminar organize have never been to any of d villages that produce cashew nuts, they've never been to d farms, meet with d local farmers, local distributors, do not know that the quality determines d price, etc.

Pls note that cashew is profitable if u have everything under your control I.e good quality, right people working for u, capital (very important cos u could buy in large qty and store for a higher price later, u will also have an edge over your competitors), entering d biz at d right time, at an early period, especially now, february, price is still low now, but it will go higher by next month, march.

I could go on and on talking about this business.

Research is very necessary, do your own little research before u venture into this biz (u either succeed or fail) it depends on how best u manage every situation u encounter during d course of d biz.

I have just shared with u what u would have normally paid for. it might not be detailed enough but I guess it would help some folks out there who have been trying to go into cashew business but don't know where to start from.
This is just the theory aspect, the main work is physical, u have to be present wherever u are buying from, don't just sit down in lagos or wherever and expect your consignment to get to u without stories, even those who have been in d game for long still monitor it physically sometimes), let your level of trust be minimal. I know a lot of people that have lost money in this business, I was a victim also when I started!! But as they say experience is d best teacher, I have gained a lot of experience ever since.

In a ddition to what the op has mentioned, the issue of moisture is a killer. There is a maximum threshold for your cashew moisture. That is the reason raw cashew nut is sun dried. The drying party starts from the point of harvesting up to the point of grading and purchase by merchants.

I am an agro produce and solid minerals export trainer. As a matter of fact, the largest source of Raw Cashew Nuts in Ogun State is my village in Yewa North. I currently consult for a cooperative of Licensed Buying Agents (LBAs) of raw cashew nuts and Cocoa Beans in my villa, but i am based in Lagos. In all the states where cashew is grown, you would always need Licensed Buyng Agents, you cant do without them, they will make or mar you at the point of purchase. So its important to work from inside.

Like someone said earlier, the next season is in February -May 2014 and this is the best time to position. It would be a lot easier if all of us work as a team.

If this is somethingnp that catches our fancy, we should be looking at setting up a meeting.

Please lets know what rate your bank is charging from your card daily from internet purchases.

This may allow us to know the bank charging the most favouranle USD rate, so if need be, we port.

If GTB has charged your card less, let us also know too.

He later transferred the funds into my own Stabic IBTC Bank savings account and placed the order on aliexpress with my own Naira mastercard and the order was processed immediately & shipped without any further delay. Now I'm not saying that Stanbic Bank is the best but I'm only sharing my experience with the house regards shopping online & making payment with my own Nigerian Bank-issued debit card.


Yes go ahead and place your order there with your GTB Naira mastercard. I've placed several orders on websites that uses Google Checkout to process cards.

And again, i think the issues of cancelling orders may just have to do with not inputing the right info. I have been using GTB Mastercard like so many of us too. Like someone said in an earlier post, no card is particularly berra than the other.

solbash11: My experience using Stanbic IBTC Bank Naira MasterCard is Satisfactory, because every Orders I've placed with my Debit card from different websites/marketplace [b](i.e Amazon,Ebay,Ali-express,Plimus, Google checkout sites like Zappos,Macy's,eastbay)[/] gets processed and shipped without any delay whatsoever. There's no issue of Token generation before the payment get processed from the card as compared with the GTbank debit Naira Mastercard which I also have in my possession.

Now there is no special Requisite pace in getting the card, just walk into any nearest branch of the bank around you and open an account with them. Fill the ATM Request form make sure it's the Debit Naira Mastercard. You will get your card not more than 2 - 4 weeks at most and you are good to start using it to shop online. I hope this message helps once again.

solbash11: You're absolutely correct. Although the service rendered by myus seems to be nice but charges rate you'll incurr using them is on the high side.

Technically speaking, what they offer is their address where you can ship your items to in the US and they charge you for that with their subscription plans depending on which one you choose, then they will give your items to courier services like DHL,FedEx etc to ship over to Nigeria on your behalf, thus you need to clear the items urself at the lagos office of the courier company you settle for. You'll be asked to pay for customs clearing which in some cases are so outrageous, for example a friend was asked to pay N33,000 for 5kg item for clearing after paying shipping of $137. The point is get an agent to clear your items upfront before FedEx Nigeria or dhl Nigeria gets a hold of it.

As of now, you can only get your card funded through the payoneer affiliated agents like fiverr, odesk, clickbank etc via ACH deposits,

mintyx: Your question is kinda confusing! You can use your GTb mastercard or your payoner mastercard to get myus adress. You dont have to visit GTbank to do that. You will have to fill your account info online!

In addition, what our oga @ d top is saying is that, put your GTB Mastercard close to you when you want to open your MyUS account online. It would ask you for your card details at step 3 or 4 of your registration process, just input those details on yout GTB card on the site and voula, your good.

Just make sure you have the equivalent of 10USD in your GTB account.

arbitrage: Yes, Netspend will ask you to send your ID (usually passport) as I said earlier. This is because their online activation did not work for a foreigner. When you try using their online activation, it may say it was unsuccessful and then you will call the number written on the sticker on the card for activation assistance. Then the person will ask you to scan and send your ID to their email. No utility bill asked please.

The Netspend card is just like the Payoneer in that it comes with a US bank account, which you will even have immediately you open your Netspend account freely; even before the card arrives by post. You can immediately begin to fund it or someone send money to your US bank details. Just like Payoneer, if I refer you to NetSpend, we will both receive $25 on your first funding of account. But the advantage of NetSpend over Payoneer is that there is no activation fee unlike Payoneer's $29.95 after funding. So, invariably, Payoneer's gift of $25 when referred is not free when you look at the fact that you will pay $29.95 activation fee unlike NetSpend that is free with $25 added (after fisrt funding) if you are referred by another user. @arbitrage: thanks for the info you have supplied here. Skrill doesnt accept Nigeria. Neteller the same thing, even if you use the opera mini browser. Skrill is even asking for means of identification and utility bill. Its sad enough that i even used my USA address from here in Naija. Seems some of these sites have upped their game by giving Naija a full ban of their services. I want to assume that you are still in successfully perhaps because you opted in a long time ago.

Please tell someone close to you to try do a new registration and lets see how it pans out, otherwise i may just assume that its payoneer thats still receptive of Naija for now.
