Lionessza6: LMAO. It's always about SA.
https://www.nairaland.com/1434798/nigeria-replace-south-africa-g20/2
https://www.nairaland.com/1241650/south-africa-not-nigeria-included
Notice that ,they don't care about the impact of what playing in the global power space might bring or disadvantage Nigeria....their only interest is displacing SA in these gatherings . Notice the wording back then....."displace".
Years later that bravado was toned down " https://punchng.com/nigeria-seeks-south-africas-support-for-g20-brics-membership/ After seeing Ethiopia and Egypt moving ahead of them after cosying up to SA ,they've now backtracked from treating SA as their enemy and maybe realized that all of us can represent Africa without one seeking dominance over others ( unfortunately, this is not how they normally think) . To them,Nigeria must dominate and be in a position to bully and belittle others. Smh. Imagine if they were the ones in our position ? . We would all be threatened with invasions and sanctions everyday .
Now you can see what's really causing all that hate " South Africa is sitting in places meant for us"
Meanwhile ,no one deserves anything in Africa and the world, you work hard, strategise and make your own country attractive. There's no born to rule here ....prove your worth and you'll get your recognition.
No one stopped Nigerians from building soccer leagues that could rival ,SA,Morocco and Egypt...NOBODY!. But they'd rather be individual superstars than pull their talents together to build a league of their own for the benefit of even the younger Nigerians in the village. Smh. Indeed, it's always about SA. Apart from Sundowns, Africa was represented by Al Ahly, Wydad Casablanca, and Esperance of Tunisia but he's concerned only of the South African team, It tells you all you need to know |

And he says, they have "better" players, I don't even recall a Nigerian team doing well in CAF competitions in recent times, I don't even see them competing, so how on earth are their players "better"? First of all, he wants Dangote to pump money into one team so that the team competes with the likes of Inter Milan, but how does that happen when their whole league is still semi-professional? He's just desperate to have a team there because South Africa has one, abafuni ukuhlulwa iMzansi laba |

Kushites: FIFA Club World Cup Trending.
Where is Nigeria?
Why is there no Nigerian club there?
Dangote Pls Buy One Club And Go Next Level.
Buy a club and build a stadium for the club. Brand it to kingdom come.
Why should Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa be there shining on the world stage when we have boys here that are better than them?
Please all these rich men like Dangote and co should start buying all these our clubs. Buy top players from Nigeria and abroad.
Build world class club sides that can compete against the likes of Inter Milan and all these guys, pls.
And the money involved is chicken change for some of these guys like Dangote, Otedola and others.
They need to step up, because this FIFA Club World Cup is a different level now. It's almost like the real World Cup!
So we need to step up, pls.
Thank you. So this is what it's really about ? losing to South Africa.. Can't say I'm surprised |

Dennisochampa: Nigeria is more populated than these countries so I'm not even bothered.... We will get it right someday.... If any of those countries were up to 150m....then I would be bothered!!! China is also populated than the rest of the world and they're sitting at 96% literacy |
