Of course, cheap labour is always an issue.. That's exactly why I initially said you're taking multifaceted issues and simplifying them, that's why you cannot just say, all the complaints and concerns that South Africans have are due to the informal sector. You guys forget that South Africa has the biggest number of African immigrants on the continent, we face things you have no clue about, you don't understand the dynamics that come with it, but love pointing fingers.. You can't have that many foreigners and your country not take strain in some way, be it socially, economically, criminally, and other ways..

if you call South Africans "xenophobic" for complaining about Mozambicans stealing cars and sneaking them across the border, for Somalians selling poisonous food to kids, Nigerians selling drugs and trafficking humans, Zimbos killing people, raping, destroying infrastructure, Pakistanis pushing home affairs scams, etc.. I would vehemently defend my people because you use that word... to shut down legitimate concerns to place yourselves as victims..

Just some few weeks back, we saw how South Africans were online making inciting comments so as to fuel the tension between Ghanaians and Nigerians over the Eze Ndigbo saga. Reading through such unprovoked biased attacks on Nigerians is scary and shows that xenophobia is indeed waxing stronger in SA.

How am I being selective. You want to me condemn my brothers doing bad things in South Africa. Very well for the record.

1. I unequivocally condemn any Nigerian in South Africa selling drugs and support their expedited deportation with immediate effect.

2. I unequivocally condemn any Nigerian cultists causing problems, hijacking buildings and human traffiking in South Africa and support their immediate arrest and deportation.

3. I also condemn Xenophobia of foreign nationals which has nothing to do with the above two issues I have just condemn.

I doubt my condemnation will make any difference but none the less.

How are you selective? All the complaints South Africans have with regard to foreigners just boils to foreigners taking the informal sector nothing else.. How simple.. but that's just you.. and this is exactly what I expect

Law enforcement bodies should rise to the challenge of dealing decisively with criminal elements according to the law regardless of their nationalities.
