The headline is misleading and conflating overcrowding of prisons with the percentage of non South AFricans in prison. They are independent of each other and not causal but when you put them side by side you want us to believe that foreigners commit more crimes that locals so you can demonize them.
The fact remains that the overwhelming majority of migrants do not commit crimes in SA when comparing the percentages of migrant prisoners to their overall population size.
