Maysdevices: No where on google did I find this, send your link. Sounds extremely ridiculous
Even if it were how many Nigerians? Do you not know the population of the country or the rate at which people try to survive everyday? Who the hell has the time for that?
Please step into reality, stop engaging foolish trolls and grouping them with all Nigerians because you’re bored, the intelligent engage the intelligent and intelligent Nigerians don’t argue for days on an obscure site about bullshit
The majority of us DO NOT GIVE A RAT’s ASS ABOUT YOUR COUNTRY. The person I mentioned is right in her assertions but generalizes the rest of us and insults like a person with no understanding
It’s impossible to agree with you when you start getting foolish about your opinions even when you are right
LOL, all this aggro for what? The truth? Go to YouTube and look at your YouTubers..all they do is make these endless comparison videos about who's the "giant " between SA or Nigeria"
Lionessza6: LMAO. Notice how everytime you pray for evil against SA,Nigeria gets into a crisis, and sinks even lower? . That's what happens when you pray for the downfall of others more than you pray for your own development. You're now the terrorist hotbed of Africa, the poverty capital of the world.....looking for new titles? .
LMAO @ SA collapsing because of 49 jobless people leaving . You people are bewitched with the lowest kind of inferiority complex. It's nauseating to watch .
Lionessza6: LMAO. Yeah your comments sounded like comments who wished black SA well . You're bitter about SA and so are many of your people.....you can all hide this behind fake pan africanism or fake concerns for the continent . SA is that country that gives you people chestpains with all its troubles ....it pains you
Maysdevices: While most of your comments are spot on and seem to be intelligent, you need to relax this notion about Nigerians hating your country
Most of us here don’t care about you or your country, we are too large and diverse and don’t even remember you exist beyond the last World Cup you hosted and will clap our hands for you if we hear anything good
You make generalizations just like Nigerians do about South Africans and accuse them of unintelligence when you are no different. Recognize you are a troll engaging trolls and perhaps try to touch some grass in real life
Look at Kingcold, take some examples from the way he engages Nigerian trolls and act like the intelligent person you claim to be
The bolded not true. According to Google, the most searched African country by Nigerians is infact South Africa.....and it shows to be honest
IkePeters: You Nigerians? What are you? A mexican.
It's not by making careless and sentimental statements. Go and research before making thoughtless responses/comments
These the 5 richest people in South Africa and only the 4th is a black man
1Johann Rupert 2.Nicky Oppenheimer & Family 3.Koos Bekker 4.Patrice Motsepe 5.Michiel le Roux
These are the 5 biggest corporations in South Africa. Please tell me how many are owned by black people
1 Naspers 1NPSNY $45.63 B 2 FirstRand 2FSR.JO $23.52 B 3 Capitec Bank 3CPI.JO $22.71 B 4 AngloGold Ashanti 4AU $22.55 B
ShopRite, Vodafone, Multi Choice are owned by whites
And you say am inflating the importance of White people? Really. The Whites own the economy of South Africa. It's Fact and not sentiments
Please before you put out baseless comments better have your facts right
49 Afrikaners leave the country and you claimed the country would collapse.. Based on what? Do you know their level of education, their profile, occupation, etc? No.. the country would collapse based on nothing than their skin colour. This is classic Nigerian reasoning and tendency to kiss white ass
Who owns the Nigerian economy again seeing not even your oil can get you out of your doldrums
Lionessza6: LMAO. Killed innocent Africans ... you mean criminals who left their own countries to come and start cult ,robbery and prostitution rings in out country ?
If innocent Africans ard killed in SA, why is there no mass exodus of them? Why do they keep on moving here with their kids ? Why not move to Nigeria that loves them ? Why not move to the over 50 countries in Africa?
Is it by force to live with people you think are killers....so who is the mad one between you that.can just killed by me for just looking pretty. And workkng hard (and yet you still beg to stay in my house )and me the is your potential killer?😅😅
Nonsense.
I read the other day, there were jails in SA which more foreigners than locals, where else do you see that?
Feldie: response to your paragraph on whites wanting to be on top: Have you seen how obsessed white Americans have become with the idea of destroying China? They're always talking about defeating China. They just can't bear to see people who are not white being on top. It's not like China will ever invade the United States in the next 1000 years but still they're so terrified that Chinese economy has grown to such extent
LOL. Have you ever noticed it's always you Nigerians who put "lord" or "master" after mentioning the word "white"? I don't see it with any African nationality.. that should tel you something
ScarletBrace: But your strong attachment to modern utilities…what do you call that? That is a practical form of white worship too. You’re even addicted to some of these and you keep making the whites richer and stronger.
JASONjnr: Let's not pretend we don't know what you were taught...
That the whites chose you over every other nations and that other countries will try to turn you against them but you must not let that to happen, rather hate your fellow Africans and worship the whites....
I dare you to visit Urania 😂😂😂
You are again projecting your whitewashed mindset onto us..
.. we don't see white people as a this prized commodity like you do over there ... they are lterally people with flesh and blood , just like you and me and we happen to coexist with these people..
It's only a Nigerian mindset that sees them as superhuman..
On the whole, there's a lot you need to do on that country of yours to dismantle this mentality. That's your problem, not ours
zoedew: It is doubtful, considering the track record of African leaders, that SA will make it were all whites to leave the country. Corruption, illiteracy, drunkenness, RACISM, drugs, incompetence, laziness et al are the bane of the black South African.
laziness..while South Africans are the earliest risers in the world, with the highest GDP in Africa right? Ad for corruption and laziness... look in the mirror bro
Lionessza6: The Westerners with funny looking heads will be grieving on our behalf ,because a few poor and illiterate Boers are taking a free ride to be minimum wage earners in a majority white country . They have started sending RIP to SA ,displaying their innate racial inferiority complex and pure ignorance. Smh. No wonder is rocket science over there to close open gutters and building toilets. ......."there's no white men to fo it for them "
You know Nigerians and white worship are two sides of the same coin
zoedew: It is doubtful, considering the track record of African leaders, that SA will make it were all whites to leave the country. Corruption, illiteracy, drunkenness, RACISM, drugs, incompetence, laziness et al are the bane of the black South African.
I knew someone would make this a "black is bad" and "white is right" issue when this is actually not the what's happening here.. Nigerian mentality 101.
White people thrive on hierarchy, and a hierarchy where they, only them are at the apex.. and South Africa does not allow them that anymore
At the fall of apartheid some white people are still lamenting on their loss of privilege and political power.. and many don't want to be ruled by black people.. because many don't want equality with the black man, hence you find them creating false narratives like " white persecution, oppression and even genocide" etc.. just because they hate the fact rhat they aren't the rulers or enjoy political power anymore.
Can you say Nigerian leaders genuinely and deeply care for the masses?
If they do, there will never be anything like or close to boko boko in Nigeria.
So until you are able answer that question keep quiet.
This is not comparison with advanced countries, This is common sense, doing the right thing
Unless you want to tell me that the Nigerian sovereign way of life or brand of democracy is to oppress it's people make them miserable, so therefore no external influence should interfere.
Nitpicking who deserves to be refugees based on race is infact, racist.
Lionessza6: South Africa is a country in Southern Africa. Southern Africa is a region in Africa that encompasses multiple countries including South Africa .
With that being said ; the lady on that video isn't South African.
But I can get why she would be called that on nairaland . No other country gets people feeling On nairaland like that one country .
Senior ANC members want to convince the billionaire Patrice Motsepe to make himself available to stand as the party’s next president.
Rapport cited two well-placed sources who said many ANC members have been trying to convince Motsepe to enter politics for some time.
They have even designed a flyer with Motsepe as incoming ANC President, Senzo Mchunu as incoming Deputy President, and Oscar Mabuyane as incoming Secretary General.
However, the sources highlighted that it is still early days and that there is a long road ahead before the next ANC National Conference in 2027.
Sunday World reported that the leadership race is in full swing despite warnings from ANC secretary general Fikile Mbalula.
Mbalula highlighted the principle that no one is allowed to engage or promote themselves in the name of the ANC for any position in the build-up to the 2027 national conference.
“Anyone engaging in leadership contestations and discussions outside the agreed approach will face the consequences and be subjected to disciplinary processes,” he said.
Deputy President Paul Mashatile, Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi, and Fikile Mbalula are other potential candidates for the ANC president position.
WHO IS PATRICE MOTSEPE?
Billionaire businessman Patrice Motsepe is a dark horse in the race for ANC President. However, this is not far-fetched.
Motsepe has close ties with the ANC and has supported the political party for decades. He is also President Cyril Ramaphosa’s brother-in-law.
He has built an incredible business empire with assets in mining, the finance industry, telecommunications, and sports.
His business success belies the fact that he had a humble upbringing without the luxuries many of his fellow billionaires enjoyed as children.
Motsepe was born in South Africa in the early 1960s, where he grew up in Ga-Rankuwa during the height of Apartheid oppression.
His father was a schoolteacher and owned a tuck shop. Here, Motsepe was taught basic business skills. He was also exposed to miners, who often frequented the store.
This helped him to create a business empire which stretches across Africa, with a strong focus on mining.
His business acumen has been widely recognised, and in 2002, the chief executive officers of the top 100 companies in South Africa voted him South Africa’s Business Leader of the Year.
He also won the Ernst & Young Best Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In 2017, Forbes Magazine honoured Motsepe as one of the “100 Greatest Living Business Minds” in the world.
Motsepe’s success in the business world and his humble roots will resonate with South Africa’s voting population, especially through his ties with soccer.
He is the president and owner of the Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club and was elected president of the Confederation of African Football in 2021.
These organisations are considered well run and successful, and voters will see Motsepe as having the potential to translate this success into the political world.
