Any sane person in Nigeria who has applied for an SA visa will understand that prior to this announcement Nigerians had to submit their passports when they applied.

Owing to "administrative delays" of months before obtaining visa their passports were technically confiscated by the SA consulate, the recent decision simply gives you the ability to apply for a visa "WITHOUT" having to submit your passport and if issues visa then bring in your passport.
