But that's Nasarawa State project, how is it Tinubu project? I was there when the governor did the flag off |
Emirship is now treated as if it belongs to whichever political party the governor belongs to, which weakens traditional institutions and politicizes culture. When I become Senate President or President one day, I will work to create a balanced system that keeps the people’s vote supreme through elections while protecting traditional rulers from political control. Governors should not have the unilateral power to remove traditional rulers. At the same time, a council of recognized traditional rulers should have the power to initiate the process to sack a governor who seriously abuses tradition or authority, subject to constitutional and legal review, not personal vendetta. This would protect democracy, preserve tradition, and prevent the concentration of power in one office. |

Thanks to Donald Trump; otherwise, how would DSS make a case like this a priority? They seem more interested in chasing Sowore than addressing other serious issues in the country. |

Israel is a very small state in the Middle East, roughly comparable in size to Kogi and Niger States combined. Yet in global politics, Israel has become a default suspect in almost every major international event, whether there is evidence or not. This pattern did not start today. Since the Cold War, Israel has been portrayed as a shadow power, blamed for coups, assassinations, economic crises, and conflicts far beyond its borders. What began as geopolitical rivalry gradually turned into a habit of scapegoating. Something happens in Latin America, Africa, or Asia, and Israel is quickly dragged into the conversation. Proof is rarely required. Logic is often ignored. A recent example is when the United States extracted the Venezuelan president and the sitting vice president immediately accused Israel of involvement. No evidence was provided. No clear explanation was offered. Many leaders find it easier to sell conspiracy theories than to confront their own failures. Instead of addressing internal problems like corruption, weak institutions, or poor governance, blame is shifted outward. Israel has become a convenient symbol onto which anger and frustration are projected. Ironically, this constant accusation inflates Israel’s perceived power. Those who claim to oppose Israel often describe it as all-powerful and globally controlling, even though history shows that no small state has ever possessed such reach. In reality, Israel is not responsible for every global crisis. Blaming Israel is politically convenient, emotionally satisfying, and intellectually lazy. ✍️David Yakubu https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16vdqGXto9/

Yes, there’s even the possibility of bribing the PPA to reject them. Some PPA don’t pay compensation and don’t provide accommodation; those are the PPAs they beg and bribe to reject them. You won’t know how corrupt and bad Nigeria and its systems are until you leave your father’s house. |
They can move into forests across every state because it is called “One Nigeria.” Let Nigeria be restructured, and every state should have a registry of all tourists and business owners coming in and going out. Then, any armed bandits claiming to be herders will be dealt with according to the laws of each land they trespass. |

Elusive001:I like your ignorance, because you don't know that location plays a role in market prices? Because you don't know that is not everyone that's greedy? |
On the 6th of December, someone in my neighborhood here in Abuja had chickens for sale. She assumed that because it was December, prices would skyrocket. I asked how much per chicken. She said ₦20,000 fixed for one chicken. If I wanted her to keep it till Christmas Day, I would add ₦4,000 for feed. With full confidence and shakara. Total: ₦24,000 non negotiable As a farmer’s child, I say OK. Fast forward to the Christmas period now. The same size of chicken is now selling in the market for ₦13,000 each. Now she’s the one chasing me up and down because chicken prices have dropped 😂 After feeding the chickens from December 6th to December 24th, she suddenly says the price is “negotiable.” The same person that was doing shakara at ₦24k is now asking me to pay ₦13k 😂 Reality has entered. Greed showed itself. After Christmas and New Year, we’ll buy again at ₦8k. |
Most people don’t like hearing this, but life has two very different paths. ✍️Without connection: You hustle quietly. You build from zero. You make mistakes, learn, repeat. You knock on doors that don’t open. For most people on this path, it takes 5–10 years of consistent effort before things truly start to click. Some get lucky earlier, many don’t. Not because they’re not smart or hardworking, but because nobody is amplifying their effort yet. ✍️With connection: You get introduced, not ignored. You enter rooms faster. Your work gets seen earlier. Opportunities come before you’re fully ready. On this path, progress can happen in 6 months to 2 years. Sometimes even sooner. Not always because you’re better, but because access changes everything. But here’s the truth people avoid… Connection opens the door. Skill keeps you inside. Plenty of people with connections crash within 1–3 years because they lack competence. Plenty of people without connections eventually win because their skill becomes impossible to ignore. The strongest position? When preparation meets opportunity. Connection can shorten the journey. Only skill can sustain it. Everyone is on a different timeline. Stop comparing chapters.

As it stands, Lady B can improve skills can be upgraded, income can be created, intimacy can be worked on. But Lady A can decline income can dry up, pressure can rise, attitude can change. Marriage is not about who is best today, but who you can survive with tomorrow. So the real question is: Can you handle her worst, not just enjoy her best |
