Police too dey lose guard because of indiscipline. They can even chase a barrow pusher to collect their usual ₦100 and forget about a terrorist wielding an AK-47. Why would three officers be shot in the back if not for indiscipline? I think police officers should be retrained every three years until the current illiterate band of officers retires. After that, they should recruit people with at least ND or NCE as the minimum qualification. |
Just one religion is the disease in this world, Chai... I blame Abraham for impatient. |
DSS has become a joke; they’re supposed to be a more respectable organization. Agbero get more respect than them now… God forbid. I won’t be surprised if they come after me for this statement sef 😂 These days, they’re going after people the way a womanizer goes after anything with a hole 😂 |
This thing dey pain. For too long, people keep calling us North Central or lumping us as Northerners. Let’s be honest — that name was never about geography. It was a political trick to make the “North” look bigger than it really is. And in the process, they stole an entire region — the Middle Belt. But hear me well: We are not Hausa. We are not Fulani. We are not Northerners. We are Middle Belt. We are the heart of Nigeria — the bridge between every region. Our cultures, our languages, our food, our lifestyle — everything about us is different. From Tiv to Idoma, from Nupe to Berom, from Igala to Gbagyi, from Jukun to Angas — our diversity is our pride. And guess what? Anybody can live with us without fear. Igbo can stay here freely. Yoruba can stay here freely. Hausa can stay here freely. That is what truly defines Nigeria. Tolerance and accommodation is in our DNA. This is not about secession. This is about representation. Our history is clear. In the First Republic, leaders like Joseph Tarka and Solomon Lar already fought against this forced identity. They warned us that if we allow ourselves to be swallowed by the “North,” we’ll always be treated as second-class inside a block that doesn’t even reflect who we are. And today, that’s exactly what is happening. Being called North Central is an understatement. It is not our true identity. It is a label that underlooks us inside the so-called Northern block. But let’s be real: the Igbo know we are not North. The Yoruba know we are not North. Even the Hausa know we are different. So let’s stop pretending. We are not “North Central.” We are not Northerners. We are Middle Belt. We are the heart of Nigeria. And today, we call for our genuine representation — not as an appendix of the North, not as a political tool, but as who we truly are. Recognize us, respect us, and call us by our real name. The True Center, The True Balance — Middle Belt

Hello everyone, hope you're doing well. I’m exploring options for doing my MBA and want to know which private university in Nigeria offers the most affordable program. I’ve been checking names like Oduduwa, Paul, Caritas, Al-Hikmah, and Crawford… their undergraduate tuition fees seem low (around ₦100k–₦300k). But I’m not sure about MBA costs. So: 1. Which private university has the cheapest MBA? 2. What’s the current tuition fee? 3. Any payment options like instalments? Would really appreciate feedback from anyone with insider info or experience!

It’s easier and cheaper for India to buy oil from Nigeria than from the USA because of distance and shipping cost. |

Sparrk007: ![]() Lol, you dey whine me? I’ve actually been an orphan since childhood. I lost my dad at 13 and my mum at 16. Right now, I’m 26 years old. I can’t even be in such a scenario; I just imagined if such situations could exist and what the way forward would be. |
Non of the people to be arraigned is an herdsman, just innocent village men protecting their village against the invader by all means are been arrested thereby rendering the village vulnerable None of the people arraigned is a herdsman; they are probably just innocent villagers protecting their community against invaders by all means. Yet, they are the ones being arrested, thereby leaving the village vulnerable, since the government cannot defend its own citizens |

Mods please don’t ban me o, this is just a mind-bending question I’ve been thinking about. Imagine this: A young man has an affair with his own mother (yes, I know it sounds crazy, but it happens in some twisted families). She gets pregnant from it. Now, instead of exposing what happened, the woman presents the child to her husband (the boy’s father) as his own child. Basically, the father starts raising his own grandchild as his child. Here’s where my confusion comes in 👇 If later a DNA test is done, will the result show clearly that the father (the husband) is NOT the biological father? Or will the DNA confuse things since both father and son share similar genes? Because if you think about it, the child technically carries blood from both father and son in a roundabout way. I’m not defending anything here o 😅. I just want to hear people’s thoughts because science, culture, and morality can clash in cases like this

Names in Nigeria carry vibes more than we admit. When someone says “Hi, I’m Bella,” your mind immediately paints a picture. Playful, social, maybe even soft life energy. But when someone introduces herself as Grace, Deborah, or Esther… suddenly the tone feels different. Grace sounds calm. Deborah feels no-nonsense. Esther carries quiet confidence. The funny thing is—it’s just a name. But perception is powerful. A name can decide how people see you before you even say a full sentence. Now imagine two ladies walk into a room. One says, “Hi, I’m Bella or Precious.” The other says, “Hi, I’m Deborah.” Who would Nigerians instinctively take more seriously? It’s not always fair, but it’s reality. Names shape how we see people, avoid cheap names.

Someone who hates you can even accuse you of blasphemy in the midst of other Muslims and have you killed sef. Living among northerners is like surrounding your house with zombies—one will eventually break loose and bite you one day. Such a hostile, brainless community of people. |
Same Katsina state has sent 20m to every single local government within the state to renovate their cemetery.. Only them knows what's to come. |
