Following yesterday assets declaration of Mr. Presidents assets declaration the following inconsistencies were identified. Also note must be taken that integrity means standing by your words and meaning what you say and inconsistencies is not part of it. 1. Their party form was 25m, but he told us to believe he took loan even when he had 30m in his account. 2. He told us he had 150 cows, how come it jumped to 270 in days? Who is deceiving someone here? 3.We heard about no property in Abuja, suddenly one surfaced . 4. We heard that assets will not be made public until CCB have verified them. So of us don't believe in quota systems, but since it is in the constitution we must uphold it fully. |

A few days ago an article was published by an APC apologist that Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu a revered Igbo leader regardless of his political leaning, was duly informed of his not inclusiveness in the present governments appointments because as the lying lier put it, it will expose the honourable Onu to temptations of office. Not wanting to reel out his previous achievements I begin to wonder how a man of such pedigree haven worked for his principal this long without any for or trace of betrayal will sabotage the body language of his principal. Thank God he came out to deny such, many of us would have believed that maybe he was simply playing along or playing on our intelligence as Southerners and Igbos. Recently, the outburst of the quota system professor was widely reported, that Mr. President owes the Ndigbo nothing, and he challenged them to go to war again. The height of recklessness . Up until this time the northern leaders have maintained a grave silence on such issue. The media carried it on Sunday evening that on their way from a peaceful procession 3 youths were shot dead and over twenty injured by a combined team of the Navy and Police around the Onitsha head bridge on an order from above. The 2nd Niger bridge contact was abruptly stopped a few days ago with the excuse that it would be reviewed to ascertain if it passed due process, while same kind of projects in other regions continue. Regardless of who voted for you or against you, once election is over a serious government must work to unify its country and not treat it as a conquered territory, which is what we have at the moment. The sooner our leaders especially in the south start to speak out the better for all of us. Also people like Dr. Junaid must be called to order quickly by all to avoid the kind of division pre 1967. His hatred and disdain for Ndigbo is legendary, which is evident in all his comments from former President Jonathans era till date. Igbos are known to stand for what they believe in and fall for it. The Igbo landing of USA is a classic example, where the Igbo slaves decided to perish in the sea that end as slaves. The average Igbo spirit. I watched with admiration Mr. President promise on his inauguration that he is for nobody and everybody, shortly after that, it has been one U- turn or the other. From senate stalemate to house of rep.he had have to take sides even as I hear he is keeping malice with Mr. Bukola Saraki . While the Senate palava lasted APC made us believe that the party was supreme which is a norm any where in the world, just yesterday the same party manifesto was denied by Mr. President and his spokesman, as the reality of 100 days beckons. As a government this is the most unserious minded government I have ever seen,from denying their own error to celebrating mediocrity and lack of achievement. How can a party talk about body language achieving results for them instead of getting to work. Recently I have noticed a disturbing trend, whenever their manifesto and expectations is been called to question, they quickly revert to blackmail I.e PDP looted 1 trillion dollars, so we cant fulfill our promises. I believe that while you handler the anti corruption and probe aspect you can still get to work. For many of us that still remember, part of the allegations the APC leveled against PDP was that they had looted Nigeria, so what have changed suddenly that they cant fulfill these promises again. In 9 days Nigerians would expect to get a score card of this government, but as it stands the only score card is on paper and in body language. Height of mischief. I have seen corruption cases last as long as 6 years in this country, and the question I keep asking is if this government will spend all their time in court and not give us governance. While I want every individual that looted our common wealth be brought to book, governance must run side by side. Lest we forget this government was voted to deliver many things, prominent among which are. 1. 5,000 for our graduates. 2. Meals for our school children. Not asking for too much they should deliver on these two quickly, then Nigerians can start taking them seriously. |

From his Party to his private handlers to the entire nation everybody seems to be shut out of his decision making, leaving observers wondering if Nigeria have become a conquered territory. Even among sincere northerners they agree we have never had it this bad, where a section of the country after almost 100 days is shut out completely from appointments, while another region holds almost a 100% . As a private individual who doesn't carry the card of any political party I believe it is worrisome the way and manner Mr. President have continued to run his government without recourse to the constitution to put him there at all, recently an AMCON chairman was appointed without any input from the senate unlike his predecessor who went through a rigorous screening, it took the media to call him to order. Shortly after his inauguration as CIC in an interview in US before the world media he told the world he would treat the north differently from the south his reasons being that he got 97% votes there as against 5% down south especially in the South East, therefore they must pay for it. This is coming from a President that won an election with less that 3m votes. Every vindictive leaders end badly. When Mandela won election in South Africa, haven spent upward of 20 frustrating years in jail, he quickly constituted the famous Truth and reconciliation committee, the healing was enormous, but in this case we have a leader that had ruled as a military ruler, but tried thrice to return through the court failed, as a result he has shut out Judges from his government. The case of Ndigbo is like that of lepers in this government, which is a story for another day. The Muslim brotherhood party in Egypt got their chance on a platter of gold, instead of quickly building a united nation they went after perceived enemies, we all saw the end of that government. The sooner lovers of democracy started talking the better for our nation. Every Nigerian agree that the anti corruption body language is in order, but some of us believe it must be total and not selective as that will paint a picture of selective judgement. Finally, Nigeria is not a private estate neither is it a conquered territory for a leader to run government like a one man show. Roughly 3 months after winning election inauguration and 5 months after winning election a serious government ought to have hit the ground running, let leave abra da cabra out of this. This government must start to work the business of governance quickly. Like some will say even if he only have Nepa bill as certificate or appoint only his kinsmen. 1 Like |

It no longer news that we have a sectional president. A president that have only given the whole south 25% patronage leaving out one of the worlds 10 most populous ethnic group the Ndigbos. I feel sad when people like the quota system professor talk about the north been marginalized under GEJ even though they held the following offices then. 1. VP. 2. Senate president. 3. Speakership. 4. NSA. 5. CDS. 6. CNS. 7. Customs CG. 8. Immigration CG. 9. Police IG. 10. NNPC - Andrew Yakubu. 11. NPA . 12. CJN. The list is endless. If Mr. Buhari can convince me that we don't have competent hands down south then I would rest my case. I don't believe all southerners are rogues as they would want us to believe. Even individuals that played hatchet roles in the evil days of a maximum ruler is been compensated in this government. What an irony. The trend I see recently is that of divide and rule. Even the most vocal chanters are beginning to loose faith in this government. Unless something urgent is done all the goodwill they have managed to build will fizzle out. I urge our leaders in southern zone to begin to speak out urgently disregarding party or ethnic affinity. Some saw this early enough to raise the red flag others asked for more time and understanding. I think as the saying goes a stitch in time saves nine. APC as a part must begin to build themself into an institution as what I see is a scattered party. Like the igbo will say- church onye mere nkeya meaning a church without leadership, from Saraki to Dagora to Mr. President no one understands the other. Ministerial list would be out in a few days, up until this time no member of Mr Presidents team can talk about any qualified individual, while this is good I believe we have on the extreme end a DICTATOR in the making. 1 Like |

The issue of Biafra have continued to rage for sometime now, going down memory lane from Obj, Yar Adua to Good luck Jonathans era the whole issue of biafra if at all it came up was mild. The question is why Mr. Buharis time? The average igbo man will stand on what he believes on, that is why they stood with the former President till the end even when it was apparent he stood no chance. While I had thought as the saying goes that you keep your friends close and keep your enemies closer, that Mr. Buhari would quickly see how to maneuver the Igbo leaders immediately he won power to his camp, he kept announcing 5% and 97% even before the international community. As an Igbo Man who was both born and bred in Lagos state which I have come to call home , the average igbo spirit. It amuses me the way little argument of who owns Lagos can quickly degenerate to some times an Oba calling for death of fellow citizens or a Doctor in far away land will call for a xenophobic attack on other citizens. Under an Obj, Yar Adua or Jonathans government Nigeria was no this divided , but thanks to a president that keeps campaigning 3 months after election, even up to calling for arrest and prosecution of a radio station that have not killed a soul before. Friends ask me that what do I do to my properties in the South West if Biafra comes and I tell them that, that is why I am igbo. Except Mr. Buhari quickly seek for ways to address the issue's of a huge chunk of the nation from perceived marginalization and cease from representing the interest of a certain village even his best chanters would soon be discouraged. On the issue of radio Biafra I think this government have made them more popular than any thing else, my take is a kind of national conference should be called soon to address grievances and the Nation restructured to cater for even the least groups in Nigeria . 3 Likes |

Count down to Mr. Buhari's achievements . By the 6th of September Mr. Buhari would have spent 100 days in power and 5 months after winning an election that had the world celebrate for the first time a civilian hand over to an opposition party in Nigeria. For many of us who approached the victory with sitdon look attitude for various reasons, from his antecedents, party affinity I.e sponsors , over promises which is the first text of a mans integrity,Unpardonable lies upon lies etc pre and post elections. When the first text of asset public declaration came as expected I was not disappointed and on and on. After close to 100days in office I came up with a few things Mr. Buhari and his handlers were able to achieve. 1. Body language. 2. 100 days honey moon. 3. Probes and committees. 4. In fullness of time. 5. 2.3 % economic woes. 6. Boko Haram continued onslaught. 7. Further regional and ethnic division. I.e Biafra issues. 8. Institutionalized of family and clan agenda. I.e INEC and DSS. 9. Policy confusion and tumble. 10. Entrenchment of mediocrity. The list is inexhaustible as each day is one new mistake as I don't know how a president of a country like our can talk of 97% to 5% patronage on an international fora and have persistently pursued same with all his heart. For some that keep celebrating mediocrity take time to check the street and seek peoples opinion on prevailing business conditions, while I don't belong to any party I am beginning to see that all these emergency leader all have their areas of strength and weakness. 2 Likes 1 Share |

[color=#000099][/color] In other climes corrupt leaders are immediately disassociated from for even sins like receiving bribes I.e. Halliburton. Here in Nigeria the same government that is the direct beneficiary will be immediately pardoned and made ambassadors to represent our nation just for switching allegiance and speaking seriously for the government in power. While we all celebrated the best governor in Nigeria from 2007- 2015 Mr. Tunde Fashola, most Nigerians were oblivious that most of the newspaper hype were all smoke screen to cover the grievous financial rape going on in Government house. No wonder he ridiculed freedom of information and ensured under him it didn't work in LASG. The former president maybe a saint when compared with most governors that keep shouting change. The best kind of change is the one that starts from the change agents themselves, even though I am liking the whole scenario, as any other government will probe the next and the next will probe the next and the circle continues. The media have been awash with news of the ministerial screening recently as out of 33 names allegedly sent in only 3 survived it, the problem is that if you dig deeper maybe non of that three will survive. A nation death of leaders and a people brainwashed from ethno religious sentiment God will help us. |

The few achievements under the past administration have been eroded by lack of follow up. 3. The new found austerity in government. 4. According to the nations article of yesterday. The government is a one man show. No one not even some of those you think should know. 5. I have always believed that you don't join the Yoruba folks to twist the truth. Igbos have never been known as perverse , rather I have known an average igbo man to focus on the place he has set focus and achieve.
